A & E has worked on our cars for several years. They do excellent work, and they are super friendly. They also charge reasonable prices. They do things quickly without wasting a lot of time making us sit around and wait like they do at car agencies. And, they get back to us right away when they need to check availability of parts and the prices for them.

Been coming here for over 10 years. Always fast and honest with all service and repairs highly recommend!

I received several quotes for an oil pan gasket. Brian quoted me over the phone, he beat everyone. Thats not the good news. When he got my car he told me that wasn’t the problem at all, some cleaning and oil change, no more leaking.
Brian could have just done the job, collected the money, but he didnt.
Honest as the day is long, fair price, but top notch work… how can you go wrong with this hat trick!!! Thanks Brian, I’m a lifer!

Brian is my freaking savior! I have had some bad problems with my car for the past two months and I took my car multiple times to the dealership, they couldn’t figure out anything wrong with my car but yet it wouldn’t start… Brian was the only one who figured this mystery out and I couldn’t thank him enough for being so patient with me calling him every other day! He has always been soooo nice and seemed to care about fixing it rather than putting a bandaid on it and charging me a grip of money. Thank you thank you thank you. Definitely recommend his work more than any other place! Super honest guy and will take good care of you!

Brian (owner) is the man. Honest, quick, and fair prices. He has always made me feel like I’m getting the whole truth about car issues. I cannot go anywhere else now. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic to KEEP, this is the spot.

We dropped a work truck off for some significant repair (Head gaskets/​valves.) The technician said after a few days, that there would be some additional repairs needed. No problem, I understand that those things happen. My beef is that when he called my foreman to report that, he failed to tell him that the truck would be ready on a certain date. When my foreman called to arrange picking up the truck, the shop was closed for some 5 days; reason unknown. So my work truck was stuck in their care, completed, for an additional 3 days; unable to service my customers.
Maybe let your customers know when the work is completed; especially those who’ve entrusted you with a work vehicle. At the very least, let them know if the work’s been done, and you’re leaving town.
Very disappointed. When I called to complain, he said it was my foreman’s fault.

I have been getting my cars worked on by Brian for 12 years now. There were times where I lived 30 miles away and would still take my car in for an oil change. He is reasonable, honest and efficient. If i needed a ride somewhere he would take care of it. There was even a couple times that he came to me after work hours to replace my battery because I was stranded! The complex that he is in even houses other mechanics such as auto body and paint repair which is great because i could get a multitude of items taken care of without even having to leave the area.
Often times mechanics see a woman approaching and feel they can rip us off because we don’t know anything about cars, ladies look no further because that won’t happen here. He even gives you knowledge as to what is happening with your vehicle so you don’t walk away wondering what your car issues are! Even his gorgeous daughters know about cars! I have used AE for about 15+ years. Brian, the owner is a great guy. He is honest and really tries to go out of his way to help. He is very sharp and knows his stuff. He does not nickel and dime you. He happens to be the best price mechanic I know.
It’s like a doctor, when you find one you trust you like to stay with them as long as you can. Every friend I’ve sent to Brian has stayed with him. Be prepared, he can be very busy but worth the wait.

I went to see Brian about replacing a failed head gasket in my ¾ ton truck this past April. Brian was able to give me a qoute over the phone, so I dropped off my truck and he got to work on it. I couldnt have asked for better communication with him, and before I knew it, my truck was up and running for even less money than he qouted me! Can’t get any better than that. Brian has always been fair to me. My wife and i got ripped off by another shop in Long Beach so we had our Honda towed all the way to Huntington Beach because we know he will be fair and honest. Been going to this shop for 5 years, the one time i stray elsewhere i get ripped off. I learned my lesson, stay with A E and Brian.
