I called to find out about getting an appraisal for a silverware set and some coins I was told that there was no charge for the appraisal and arranged a time and date to bring the coins and silverware to the shop, which was 30 miles from my home. When I arrived (at the specified time) I was told that there would be a fee to provide the appraisal. I explained that I had been told that there would be no charge for the appraisal but they refused to stand by their promise. This bait-and-switch did not sit well and as I was leaving I was told that if I had appraisals provided by other shops I could bring them in and they would beat the other prices. I wonder why they think I would believe them and come back after they lied to me?

I came into this shop the other day because I am beginning to collect coins as a hobby. I walked in and started to ask the owner questions about coins and collecting, I told him that I am a beginner in coin collecting and would appreciate any advice that he could give me. He then proceeded to give me a crash course on everything from grading a coin to spotting a fake; I appreciate his help in keeping me from getting ripped off. I’m also interested in investing in precious metals. Since I’m a newbie the owner covered dollar cost averaging to take advantage of dips in the spot price of metals to get the most PM’s for my dollar. You can really tell that Brad is very knowledgeable and cares about his customers. I look forward to coming back in the future!

I just want to say that I would definitely recommend this place to my friends & family. I had a couple rings that I wanted to sell for some cash and I shopped around for it. This place not only gave me good price, but I found myself interested in all the stuff that was in there. So many cool collectible things that you would never think are sold anywhere. Really friendly people, willing to help, respectful, I will be coming back.

First of all I’m only giving it one star because you have to give it some kind of rating. I wouldn’t recommend going to this place to sell your coins. I had some silver coins I wanted to sell and when I went in the guy immediatialy informed me that it will cost $ 4.00 for him to look at my coins. $ 4.00 isn’t much but why do I need to pay him to look at a few coins for a couple of minutes. Then he qouted me $ 80.00 for my coins and I said no thanks he immediately brought his price up to $ 100.00. I said no thanks and went to HB coin exchange. No haggling and I got a fair price.
Don’t come here if you want someone to be fair with their pricing.
