Ed Syer and HB Hogs and Choppers treated me on a personal level which is unheard these days. I had my 2015 Harley Electra Glide serviced in a day at a reasonable price without all the hassle a dealer will put you through. They are definitely my new Harley mechanic service provider. Got my bike dyno tuned TTS they did great job also found another issue with my bike and fixed it for free. This place is friendly and the owner is experienced in all aspects of bikes and cars.

I was recommended by a friend to get my bike repaired here, they kept it for about 6weeks, off and on, constantly telling me «Its almost done, its almost done»… After constantly having to call them, instead of them calling me. So it all started when I took my bike in to have it looked at to have it dyno tested and the transmission was slipping. Ed tells me their is a ticking noise in the engine. I drive down and I hear a slight ticking noise. Ed asked to open the motor up to find the cause. 3 days later he tells me to come down to see the wear and tear on the cams and push rods. He also stated it had a big bore kit 106, that was piece milled together. I did buy this bike from a second hand party. This was unknown to me. He Offered to put 2012 103 heads and pistons, with reaper cams. Sounds good to me. All said and done transmission no longer slips. ??? weird… Now he tells me bike is ready. He will put on dyno and for me to come down and pick up my bike. Well, when I got their, the bike was still on the dyno. Ed tells me something wrong with his computer, a virus. So I take my bike back, which now has no power in the low end. I had to call him to see if he had his computer issues solved. He did, nice of him to call me to get my bike up and running. Long story short. I’ve must have spent countless hours in his waiting room for the dyno. Ed tells me the dyno is not taking on my bike and that he needs to take it to HD to have the computer remapped. I said okay and then when he got the bike back I would need a new throttle body. WHAT!!! what the hell is going on here…
Ed tells me that I can call around to find one. Isn’t that the repair shops job!!! I did find one, from screaming eagle. $ 685 dollars later. oh, Ed did pick up the shipping, yah that was nice. :-(
so, thousands of dollars later. Ed calls me, bike is ready. I grabbed my keys and told Ed i’ll never be back, terrible service. When I road my bike home, guess what? it now backfires on deceleration. So I took it to a different mechanic, a manifold leak!!! Yah, good job Ed, strong work. I’m letting everyone I know of the crappy work and service HB Hogs and Choppers do.
Oh and I asked Ed to take the center stand off. He didn’t do it. He stated he forgot about it. But he will take it off now, thats when I picked up for the last time.
DON’T GET SUCKERED IN… PASS THIS SHOP UP!!!

I have known Ed for about 10 years now and he takes care of all of my cars including my all original 1962 Vette that I won’t let anyone near. Last night I picked up my sons 2005 Scion TC that had a leaky water pump. The price was less than I expected because he said that my serpentine belt was still in great shape and didn’t need to be replaced! Any other shop or the dealer would have stuck it to me and told me it had to be replaced just so they would make a few more bucks off me. These guys are honest, care about their customers and if there is an issue they always make it right. What more can you ask from your mechanic???
Best of all they treat my wife and mother in law with the same respect that they give me. Definitely a 5 star shop.

Hb hot rods and hogs took our schools tricycles (6) fixed them painted them and sent them back to the kids in their neighborhood!!! What a heart!!! You’ve got our business and sincere gratitude!

So, by the reviews, you can tell, they are either awesome or terrible.
My experience was terrible.
I was recommended by a friend to get my bike repaired here, they kept it for about 6 weeks, constantly telling me «Its almost done, its almost done»… After constantly having to call them, instead of them calling me, I just show up to find out that they bike hasn’t even been started! Needless to say, I took my keys and left with my damaged, untouched bike.
The only positive thing is that they were nice, that’s it. So they nicely LIED to me. I cant say they did shitty work, because they never did work. I can say that they are really lacking in ethics.
I dont recommend this place.

Ed and his crew are spot on with their Harley knowledge, expertise and service. Their shop is clean and organized and they’re really cool people to work with. I have a very custom Street Glide that I had another shop do most of the work on. Terrible experience over there and I’m still paying for it now fixing things they half assed. My first go round with Ed took care of a bunch of little things that were driving me crazy and a couple bigger ones. As soon as I left the shop my bike rode better than it did when it was stock.
Highly recommend these guys and look forward to spending more money with them. Do your research on the shop you choose because it matters in the long run.

An honest, affordable and quick mechanic? You bet!
I took a highly custom sportster in and had some repairs, some maintenance and some upgrades completed. All were done when promised, at the price quoted, and the workmanship was second to none.
There is no need to look any further.

I use to live in South County and had another place do all of the work on my Dyna Wide Glide however I moved to HB a while back and my other place went out of business so I was in need of another person I could trust and naturally nervous to let someone else work on my hog– I am so glad I went in the place and met Ed the owner. First off this is the kind of guy that knows a ton about bikes and right off the bat I could tell he really loves what he does. He took the time to go through what I needed and prioritized things for me so I did not feel overwhelmed with all the crap I have been putting off. I was there for about four hours while they took care of everything, all the parts I needed were in stock which in itself is awesome– while there I noticed this guy knew the names of every person that came in or called, which to me was a good sign that I picked the right place.
My bike is running awesome and I have no worries other than my wife seeing how much I spent lol. Not that his prices were bad, I just needed a lot done! Thank you Ed and the whole team over there– I look forward to having a lot more work done!

Simply the best! dont go anywhere else period! Fair honest and knowledgable!

Took my ’14 Dyna in for 1K service, on a moment’s notice (called Ed at 8am Tuesday and dropped off the bike 15 minutes later). Bike was tuned up and ready to ride home in 24 hours. Can’t get that level of service at my local HD dealer. When I picked up the bike I mentioned I was interested in a lowering kit. Ed suggested dropping the rear only, then riding it for a while to see how it feels, rather than spend hundreds more to do the front as well, only to lose that front suspension travel. I appreciated his earnest opinion. I don’t get that from the dealer. They want you to replace the entire suspension when the goal is simply to tuck the tire into the rear fender a little more.

Got my 2014 harley street glide dynoed by Ed two weeks ago and what a difference! I currently have Vance and Hines headers with CFR slip ons, I was always told they would be really hard to tune but Ed made short work of it! My bike runs cooler, more smooth in every aspect and it even gets better fuel mileage. I would 100% recommend him for any dyno work you need done, great guy, great work and great price!

I have taken all my cars here multiple times over the years and have always had great service and good prices. They even drove me home while my car was being serviced and I live on the far side of town. I will be back.

I have been going to Automotion for years. The staff is friendly and they truly care about getting you back on the road as quickly as possible. They have always used quality parts.(u be surprised some car repair shops don’t)
They are thorough and always do a great job. I trust them 100% and I have referred friends and family to them. I hope they never go out of business. Its hard to find someone who cares about you and your needs.

This place is a RIP OFF!!! charged me 90 $ to change only rear tire on my 2006 r6. There are like 3 other shops that would do it for half that even found a shop on Warner and Gothard that will do both tires for less than that price. I should have done more research before taking it there.

Ed and his team are awesome! I had them take my 2014 Street Glide, add a Vance & Hines full exhaust, 16″ ape’s, screaming eagle air intake, power commander, and have it Dyno tuned as well as complete the 1k mile service. The service quality is fantastic! The speed that these guys complete jobs is amazing, and it’s the little things like giving you a ride back when you drop your bike off, offering to deliver it and working with me on prices that I found cheaper online for some parts. Cash still rules the world and a cash price is much appreciated! I dropped my bike off on a Friday, and it was done in a week! Great work, great service, and a great Team. If you like to be treated like family and are looking for someone to make your bike bad ass HBHC is the only way to go!

Ed personally sat with me and explained my exhaust upgrade on my 2010 Ultra Classic. He stood by his price and ordered my parts in one day. He personally worked on my bike and delivered as promised. I was recommended by a friend. I will do the same. First Class!!!

South Side Johnny dynotuned the 05 RoadKing a little over a year ago. She’s run like shit ever since. It has this random stutter/​choking/​loss of power deal.
We’ve taken it to several elite shops and to Harley. No one has been able to find the problem. Thrown over $ 1500 at it.
Ed and Brian took a look and were baffled. Thought they had it fixed, but it came back.
Why we love them: They took it personally. Ed said in 20+ years he’s never seen this unique issue and wanted to work on it till he found it. Who does that anymore?!?
And (most important) he didn’t say that just to rack up shop hours. He stuck to the original quote.
They’re prices are reasonable. They stick to them– no sticker shock at pick-​up time. They are honest about scheduling. They don’t make promises then throw your bike on the backburner (like Harley) Appointments are easy to get, often even short notice, and turnaround is FAST.
Seriously, don’t ever go here. We want them all to ourselves.

My first experience with Ed and HBHC was great. Had them install Wild 1 14″ apes on my 2010 Road King and I couldn’t be happier with the workmanship. After a couple of experiences with both local Harley dealers, Ed has my maintenance from here on. Ride safe!
