Avalon Liquor Party Supplies

One of my favorite places. I love giving to neighborhood businesses and this one gives so much happiness back. Not only do they have great stuff for parties, but they are a comedy team as well. Elizabeth and Matt make me smile every time I walk in. It began with one mini piñata, and morphed into me being in there a couple times a week and calling them on a whim for either balloons or more pinatas! They make the cutest alcohol pinatas and will make them customl for you. As long as the bottles are plastic, they will do it. Elizabeth names them also :-)
Elizabeth is a balloosionist as well. Avalon has such a plethora of balloon choices it is crazy. So much fun. They also have such a great selection of spirits. I really can’t say enough about this place. I highly recommend it.

This place is a hidden gem. Once you find it, you will never go to Party City again. Fair prices and a great selection. Male and female owner are friendly, helpful and great business people. I live in south OC and found this place while I was up in Huntington Beach. It’s worth the drive for me the next time I have party needs.

Omg love this place! If you need any party supplies even last minute balloons they hook you up! They’ll even deliver! Love Elizabeth and Matt! Best customer service ever! I will never go to Party City Again!

Called Avalon and was helped by Elizabeth. She’s was nothing short of professional and friendly. Definitely helped us get just what we needed. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. My expectations were surpassed and I will be back!

Came here to get balloons last minute for an office event. I didn’t call ahead first or anything, but Elisabeth was able to quickly get me 20 balloons (colors Tiffany blue and White), and for a fair price, too! Even with several other customers walking in after me (who were all also promptly helped), service was quick and friendly!
They also have tons of party supplies here and a good selection of beers and liquors. I will definitely be using them in the future for my event/​party needs :)
Fun fact: The $ 1 billion powerball Dr. Evil picture floating around the internet was from this location! She put up the Dr. Evil picture hahah

This place is great! Liquor and party supplies all in one, what more could you ask for?! I came in on New Year’s Eve looking for sparklers and the lady (forgot her name) had three packets left and held them for me! Great service, kind people, stock full of supplies and sparklers!

This store has great party supplies and staff is super helpful. Elizabeth helped me for about a hour blowing up balloons for my sons 2^nd birthday. Definitely worth a stop in if your in need of anything for your next party!

This is such a gem and one stop shop. I walked in today to get some balloons for a 1^st birthday party and the owner was such a sweetheart. She has wonderful ideas and really has done such amazing things with the store. No need to make the drive to Party City ever again, plus I love to support local, small business in HB. I highly recommend getting your party supplies at Avalon Liquor. They will even re-​fill your mylar balloons 3 additional times. Who else does that? No one. They are the best.

Googled some Party Supply Stores near by because I needed to get some balloons, and came across this lil shop with great reviews and only a few miles away. It is such a great lil shop with EVERYTHING you would need, plus the lady that was helping me shared some great ideas for future parties that I am saying good by to Party City and coming straight over here for all my party essentials.
If you need any little Valentine’s day trinkets, you have to come in here and they have these cool little packets that you smack and it blows up into a little heart balloon! This is the only place I’ve seen it at.

We used this local and hidden gem of a party supply store (located next door to Trader Jo’s) for a large balloon order for our recent event. Elisabeth was so helpful and accomodating — and they delivered the most beautiful balloon bouquets right on time for our event! They were professional, reliable, affordable and easy to work with. Awesome liquor&Party Supply Store… has everything you need for a amazing party.
All my decorations, balloons, liquor, and party supplies for my 21^st birthday came from Avalon and I received tons of compliments on the party. So quick and easy. Elisabeth is great at whipping up a bundle of balloons for any occasion.
I usually stop in and get my bonfire wood here since its right down the street from the beach :)
Recently bought a giant gift wrapping bow at a great price. Always a plus!

This little gem is such a great spot to have around for so many reasons! Avalon has supplied our balloons and party supplies for five parties in the last 18 months. The next closest party supply is over 20 minutes away so this is convenient. I order balloons which are always ready right when I schedule them (and at a great price!).
This is a total one-​stop-​shop with great, friendly service. I love that it’s next door to trader joes so I can pick up all the beverages traders doesn’t sell (good booze, wine, and mixers). They have a fresh candy bar where I make party grab bags for the kids (best gummy bears in town!).
Great store! Great prices! Best products!
Oh, and they have Olaf balloons!

I am writing this review on behalf of the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. Avalon Party Supplies has been a strong supporter of the House for a couple of years now. For a long time, Matt would just walk into the House with a monetary donation and this went on for months and months till one day we struck up a conversation with him and mentioned that our 25^th Anniversary picnic was coming up and we were looking for a balloon arch and pillars. We inquired about pricing but he just brushed it off and said WE WILL DO IT. Truth be told, we were kinda apprehensive at first… do they have the experience doing this? what will it look like? The final result: WE WERE BLOWN AWAY. It exceeded any expectations we had AND they donated EVERYTHING. Then they did the same for our Halloween Party.
If you have any events coming up, I strongly suggests coming here for ALL your needs. Elisabeth is a pro with balloons. Tell her what your vision is and she makes it come to life. The store is so bright, neat and tidy, it is such a breeze to find anything you want. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
