Chris Hammond enjoyed an idyllic Orange County childhood, exploring the hills of Laguna and playing in the sun-​kissed waves on the coast below. An avid skateboarder with a busy mind, he was always more interested in experiencing life than reading about it on the pages of books. Despite this, he managed to graduate from El Toro High School in 1975, at which point he embarked on a life-​journey filled with a varied list of occupations including, but not limited to: mechanic, landscaper, pool salesman, mortgage broker, bartender, actor. Chris seemed to find his niche as a stuntman, but after several injuries (which led him to discovering the benefits of chiropractic… as a result he avoided surgery) he decided to get serious, be responsible, and make a better life for himself.

And so, at the age of 27, he enrolled at Long Beach City College, after which he attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1994. He worked under his mentor,

Dr. Hammond is awesome. I have been seeing him every month or so for over a year. He works with our whole family including my small children. We have several issues, pain, injury, or illness all set on a course of healing after a visit with Dr. Hammond. I refer him to everyone.

I was enjoying a Caucasian when I had some unwelcome guests looking for a rug. Well long story short I had some serious lower back pain. I went to see my Doc at Balanced Chiropractic and man he worked his magic. You see what makes Chris different is the Kinesthetic approach. He can find and fix the troubled areas just by watching and feeling the bodies natural movements. Pretty heavy sh&* man. Anyway I I have been going there for over 10 years and after dozens of chiropractors over a life time, Chris is far-​out!

After 6 weeks of physical therapy and a shot of cortisone for a frozen shoulder my daughter-​in-​law said go see Dr. Chris, he will help you. How right she was! I had more movement in my arm after just 3 visits than all of the above. I have been seeing chiropractors since 1981. I have never had one as thorough and knowledgeable as Dr. Chris. He uses a variety of tools and methods to accomplish what needs to be done.

Dr Chris is a Great Doctor, he listens to your issues. Together you work together to resolve the kinks and pain. I have taking my sons to Chris when he was in School, they played football. Chris was able to show them how to stretch and avoid injury.

Dr. Chris Hammond is the absolute best at what he does. For years I suffered from severe sinusitis and since I have been going to him, I haven’t had a problem since. He takes time to get to know you and addresses your needs – making sure you always leave feeling better than what you did when you came in.

I can never say enough about Dr Hammond! He has been able to diagnosis things for me that countless other doctors haven’t been able to figure out. Everyone in the office is AMAZING! The girls at the front desk are the sweetest. The massage therapist Natalie gives hands down the most incredible massage you could imagine. I got my first massage from Natalie and she has set high expectations for all future massages. If you’re in the need for a great massage be sure to book an appointment ASAP!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Chris Hammond for several years now. The front office is helpful and friendly, and does their best to get us in promptly for routine and emergency visits. My husband sees Dr Chris every 3 weeks, and has nothing but good things to say about the doctor. Dr. Hammond ALWAYS gets us out of pain. I highly recommend Dr. Hammond’s office!

My whole family has been seeing Dr. Hammond for years now. I’ve seen many chiropractors over the years and he is, by far, my favorite! He does a great job of identifying what is really causing my pains and correcting them. It’s often something other than what I thought. He also does a great job of making his patients comfortable. My 16 year son, my husband, and I are all patients and all very happy to have found him.

The staff is amazing, they make you feel like family, they even call to check to see how you are if you haven’t been in for a while.
