Bad experience with the staff responsible for appointments. They changed the doctor to a different one without any advance notice and didn’t admit any responsibility for the inconveniences they caused. Not a trustworthy place.

I had a spurt of breakouts/​acne, tried to squeeze them my self and it got infected. I wanted to get in rt away and have cortisone injections done. I found the facility on google since it’s near my house. They were able to get me in same day. Although I had to wait for an hour, it was well worth it! Dr Luxenberg knew exactly what to do and treated me rt away. Literally, the next day, my acne flattened out and no infections. I would recommend this facility. Expect a wait but at least they were able to see me same day. Also, I really liked this office because they DID NOT try to sale me any acne products and so on like other dermatology offices I’ve visited.

I have been coming to see Dr. Rosenberg for years at his Huntington Beach location and he impresses me every time. I see him multiple times throughout the year for skin check ups, mole removals, and overall keeping my face as fresh as it can be. He actually specializes more with skin cancers so I quite often refer my friends and family to go to him since I trust him so much. Not gonna lie yes sometimes there is a long wait but frankly I would be worried if there wasn’t! This tells me how great of a doctor he really is. So a great tip when I schedule an appointment I make sure to talk to his receptionist Laura who is always so kind to try to give me either one of the first morning appts or his first in the afternoon and if not I am willing to wait it out. The office itself is a little small but the rooms are more spacious. The front desk girls are always busy but very willing to help/​answering any questions upon arrival. I have also met their friendly office administrator who went over some billing questions I had. It can be hard choosing the right doctor up to your standards but I am so thankful I have came across Dr. Rosenberg and his staff. I would not choose to go anywhere else. He is from New York so if you like someone who is quick to respond and blunt in a good way then you have found the right guy. In all seriousness one thing that was important to me meeting with any doctor is there bedside manner and there willingness to take their time with you and Dr. Rosenberg shows me that with every visit. I highly recommend as a Dermatologist!!!

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Dr. Matthew Luxenberg. I have a nightmare experience with him where he performed an operation on me without my clearance. I trusted in his judgment when he started shooting me with nitrogen saying that I had precancerous cells. Not only was I need to wait for well over an hour wait flirted with the girl next-​door he rushed through my appointment didn’t properly check me out and then charge me around $ 500. I went and got a second opinion from a doctor in Hawaii specializes in dermatology from New York. He was in complete and utter shock by the experience I had to go through with Matthew. This guy truly check me out from my feet to the top of my head in between my fingers and everywhere else you can imagine the way Dr. should properly take the time to look after his patient. Unfortunately I did not have that same experience with Matthew and I would never recommend him nor put my life or my body in that man’s hands

On my very first appointment I waited 2 hours. When i said I was leaving they suddenly rushed me into the room to see the Doctor which took another 20 minutes. The Doctor rushed in and did a quick exam. I paid my co-​payment and left. Two months later I received a bill, 8 months later I received another seperate bill. As soon you question the billing they tell you they had sent previous notices which they didn’t.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
