Totally unprofessional establishment!!! I called 2 wks ago to make reservations for a party of 12 for a friend’s birthday dinner for tonight. As we all started to arrive, we noticed the restaurant was completely dark and closed with a small sign saying they were closed to improve staff performance. Thank you for letting us know! Not even one phone call to inform us so that we could make reservations with another restaurant. Luckily for us a nearby restaurant, Solita, was able to accomodate our large party. We will definitely never try Cucina Republique because of their lack of management and customer service.

Wtf? Wanted to try this place. No one here on Saturday night. Super questionable. Went in anyway. No service for at least 2 minutes. And they wondered why we left. Menu is confused to say the least!

The food is okay the service was good but this place isn’t making my «go to» list. I was disappointed at the pricing with the marginal food and portions. The décor is very chic. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere, however, it feels like you’re paying for that through their lackluster dishes. If you’re going to try it I wouldn’t suggest eating a full meal there. Instead, go for the wine. The Pinot Noir was very good.

Anna I think was her Name the sweetest waitress ever !!! She was very on top of everything in regards of customers being content. Anything we needed she was on it. This restaurant is work in progress has a lot of potential especially location. I think waiters/waitresses should be able to try their own food in order to recommend what’s good instead of what looks good lol. I would say absolutely great for drinks and appetizers but not entires. Water downed Vietnamese food. Wine selection is great too. I would recommend the Queens Peak Cabernet. I will definitely be a returning costumer

Arrived with 10 people and were seated at the center table. I ordered an old fashioned but they were out of oranges so there was no orange peel and it was cloyingly sweet. The roasted bone marrow with garlic confit was heavenly. Beefy fatty goodness coated with a crispy garlicky crust. I shared it with my friends and they all agreed that it was amazing. The Brussel sprouts and sweet sausage(lap xuong) were a bit on the salty side but still quite good. My friend ordered the lamb chops and they were melt in your mouth. I love tapas and I will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu. Give this place a try.

This place just opened to replace Bondi, located between Buffalo Wild Wings and Cheesecake Factory. Mostly they serve tapas style plates with an Asian flair, although there are some select larger entrée plates. We ordered the Grilled Prawns on Garlic Noodles, the Truffle Burger, and the Passion Fruit drink. All of it was delicious and not overly complicated, relatively simple but good flavors. The burger was juicy and filling. The prawns had that nice char on them and paired well with the strong garlic of the noodles. The Passion fruit drink was pretty wild… fresh squeezed fruity sweet explosion with seeds and soda water for a little fizz action. It was worth ordering to enjoy once but for $ 6 I would not likely order it again. The service was great. Prompt, polite, and not overzealous(that is, the servers were not crazy hipsters that sing ballads about the unique organic-ness of their ingredients). The minus 1 star is for the lack of character/ambience. The place may still be working on an identity. The décor, figuring, and furniture are all remains from when it was Bondi. The name of the place, the food, the décor, the TVs, the bar… They all don’t seem to go together. Feels odd.
