Gecko Yacht Charters specializes in the «Catalina Experience» aboard the Gecko Gecko. A Euphorie 40 Power Catamaran built by Jeantot in France and customized for Southern California waters. Spend 2 days to a week or more cruising the waters between Huntington Beach, Catalina and other Southern California ports. The stability of the Gecko Gecko’s Catamaran hull insures you will have a comfortable trip. Enjoy the crystal clear waters from Gecko Gecko’s mooring at Catalina’s Emerald Bay. At Gecko Yacht Charters, our focus is on sharing the Catalina Island Boating experience. The Gecko Gecko’s skipper is Captain Randy Boelsems. Capt. Randy will take care of the vessel and ensure the safety of your experience.

Captain Randy has been going to Catalina Island since the 1950’s as a young man, a camper, a camp counselor and a boater. He is very active in the Catalina boating community and the Catalina Island Conservancy. He and his family are members of the Corsair Yacht Club. Randy has served as an officer and director as well as Commodore in 1996. Captain Randy founded the Conservancy Ball while Commodore. The Ball has raised over a million dollars to help fund Catalina Island Conservancy restoration projects on the island.

Captain Randy has spent his entire life in and around the oceans of the world. Educated as a Civil Engineer and working offshore for most of his early career he has built offshore platforms in the North Sea, South America, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Korea, Italy and Tunisia. Randy and his wife K.C. spent three years living in Scotland where they owned a Snowgoose 37 Sailing Catamaran. During this time they circumnavigated all of Great Britain sailing between th
