Hoskins Apts

This apartment is great for the more relaxed beach living. It is located far enough from the beach where you don’t get the tourists and large amount of traffic, but close enough to catch the summer breeze and within walking distance to local spots.
It’s located around other smaller and more private apartment complexes, duplexes, and homes, making it look like a residential area. It’s quiet and the parking is great. Each unit has one assigned garage and the street parking is not nearly as frustrating as other places (but still try to park a bit earlier in the day and than use one car if you have the option).
The one bedroom floor plan is really great. The living and dining room are very open and the kitchen counter overlooks the living room so you can still watch your TV while cooking (on a gas stove might I add). Very spacious balconies that face a quiet courtyard. The bedroom is much larger than what you’d find an other apartment complexes and it comes with a ceiling fan. My only warning would be that it’s an older complex and therefore has no AC. However, you can get a great draft during the summer months with opening the balcony door and bedroom door and leaving the door open. Also invest in a couple fans and maybe a portable AC unit (mine was a lifesaver as I work graveyard and sleep during the day). During the colder months there’s actually a cute little fireplace to enjoy in the living room too.
The management team AKA Kathie is by far what makes this apartment complex five stars. Kathie is dedicated to making sure you’re enjoying your home, not just your apartment. She is quick to fix any maintenance request and is always cheery/​friendly. She knows her tenants personally and makes you feel extremely welcoming in the community. I trust my neighbors if only because I know she was there for the application process. Its a really great group here. Don’t plan on leaving any time soon.

Great place! Lived here for 2 months now. Was looking for an apartment that was close to the beach, safe, and good parking. Very glad I picked this place! Staff is nice and very helpful!
