I came here looking for a good price on a car and it was excellent! Was there and got great help from a nice gentleman named Luis. Helped a lot an found the car I wanted. The process was quick and Chris in finance was also great and explained everything perfectly. I really recommend this awesome place!

I want to say my initial experience here wasn’t the best but they are now winning back my satisfaction. Jonathan (service manager) did a great job taking care of an issue with my vehicle. He allowed me to go to a closer dealership so I wouldn’t have to drive far to get my vehicle fixed. He also took care of all the expenses. I really appreciate you Jonathan.
I also forgot to mention in my first review that Robert did an excellent job selling the truck to me. He was positive and genuine.

Found a used truck I was looking for on their website, pictures on site made truck look incredible. Once I was shown the truck it was trashed, interior was filthy, with what looked like melted chocolate ice dream all over the back seats, the display for the navigation/​was completely smashed, and the microphone for the hands free adapter was ripped out, with the wires hanging out of the roof lining,.
The pictures on website showed a perfectly clean vehicle with video display functioning normally.
When I asked salesperson about detailing the truck, he replied, «only after the truck was sold» when I asked if they were going to repair the display, he had to check with the manager, I was informed «Nope, it will cost too much too fix» what?
I think they are just shy of pulling a bait and switch, by misrepresenting the vehicle by showing pictures of a clean, unmolested vehicle. Very disappointed. Also place seemed very dirty.

I bought a Mitsubishi for my daughter. I am happy with the purchase!
The salesman, Zee, is great! He treats us like human-​beings! The transaction is very smooth!
If you want to buy a car, please ask for Zee! You will not be disappointed!

Dean Futherford, Service manager. I went in for a basic maintenance issue, and one of his Technicians made a mistake. When I notice the mistake, Dean agreed that the issue was their fault. He gave me a card with his name on it and told me to come see him when I did my 60,000 mi service. Dean is a man of his word. He made sure that I received great service and he discounted my 60,000 mi service. Dean has eared my business. Great customer service. Nice guy to talk to and true professional. Thanks Dean.

Don’t talk to Anna, she made an appointment at 9pm with my bf so we drove out there and then another sales guy Kevin helped us. The car was in the body shop all torn up. Kevin was nice enough to try to find it.
But Anna told us to come and failed to mention it is not even in good condition to be shown. She is pretty worthless.
They are only getting 2 stars bc Kevin was very helpful and apologetic.

Worst dealership I’ve ever been to. I’ve bought 3 new cars in the pass years with great service at other dealerships but nothing like this guys lies all around and just wasted my family’s time. Everything was going well but at the last minute everything changed. Don’t waste your time here, but in case u decide to check them out bring a hidden voice recorder, I wish I had recorded all the lies the sales manager was coming up with. Nate is the epidomy of a used car sales manager. Jim the sales agent was great. Then you get this guy Nate that brags they are #1 in the nation but can’t show why they achieved that.
Through all the back and forth. Told to come back and offered a price agreed upon. Then pulled the ultimate sales guy move. Just a dishonest guy all the way around. Walked out and bought at Tustin Jeep. Sad to see that this owner of the dealership is losing customers as a result of Nate’s 1980 used car sales antics. I am sure this dealership does well. But my experience, based with Nate, was completely underwhelming. Good thing they have other managers to carry the weight.

Do not buy a car from here. They are very disorganized. Customer service needs attention there. I drove over an hour and a half to buy a 2012 ram 1500. It was a good price (I’ll give them that). I get there, test drive it and decide to purchase it. I already had the check to buy the truck (so no financing necessary). 4 hours they finally complete the paper work. Now I’m finally getting into my new truck to drive home. First thing I notice is the gas tank is empty. So I go fill it up. On our way home my family and I notice the truck has a strong smoke odor to the point where we were all nauseated and my 5 year old daughter ended up throwing up. Also when I get home, my wheel lock key is missing. I call them up and they want me to drive all the way there to hopefully fix the problem.
To top it off I get a call the next day from the finance manager Mauro saying that he needs to speak with me about the check I gave them and that it was very important. I call him for two days and leave him two messages. No return call. I then call and speak with Hilda and she says that we need to endorse the check so we need to drive out there again. I said wait a minute shouldn’t the finance manager Mauro caught that. Can you mail it to me. She said that she would email it to me immediately. I said great! I’ll be waiting at my computer and sign the check and send it right back. I waited for half hour and nothing. I then called and they said Hilda went to lunch. As I’m on the phone with another gal she said Hilda was walking in. Hilda got on the phone and said sorry. She then sent the email. That hot resolved.
After all that Mauro finally calls and said he got a missed call from this number (not knowing who I even was). He asked what I needed. I was beyond frustrated at this point and just told him everything had been taken care of it and don’t worry about it.
I would rather pay a little more for a car and have a smooth experience. They need to be trained to take care of their customers better. You have to go out of your way for your customers if you make a mistake not inconvenience the customer.
Just beware if you go here.

[Update] On my next visit my SA took care of me discounted my oil change and apologized for the long wait from my previous visit to them.

We have purchased 2 NEW vehicles from HB Chrysler. Hate the Chrysler 200 I got btw, but had a decent experience. Regardless, we recently went in for my husband to trade in his GT for a USED car. First person to greet us was Joseph (who recently resigned because he’s too good for such a slimy company). He was amazing to work with and we made 4 different trips to the dealership eager to make a trade.
On our most recent and final trip, we found the truck we wanted and were ready to make a deal. Test drove it and brought in the car for trade. When it came time to sit down and discuss final numbers, we were greeted by the accounting manager Tom Pham who was by far the most unprofessional and ill mannered «customer service» representative I have ever dealt with. He walked up to us with not even so much as a handshake or introduction. Put the paper down said here’s what it is… No Tom! Not how it works when you’re trying to have someone sign off on $ 30 grand. We told him that information was incorrect, we were pre-​qualified for a lower interest rate. With much annoyance, he stood up and walked away.
Tom came back about 10 minutes later where we had to ask him what his name was, which he replied «I assume you knew since I saw you when you walked in». (umm okay??)
Like any normal person buying a used car, we tried to discuss the price since the car had quite a few knicks in it and was 4 years old. Of course Mr. Pham had a nice response «You can ask me 100 times and my answer will be no. This is the price. We are losing $ 600 on it already». We were not expecting a definitive yes, we just wanted to have someone that was willing to work with us. Plus you are not losing money… This isn’t our first rodeo Tom, we already know how much you will be making off of re-​selling our car alone.
So we told him we could not make a deal and he stood up and said «okay then have a good night.»
I am not a car buying expert, but I do know that that entire interaction was so wrong and unprofessional. So we wrote an email to the GM Eric, before going straight to Unilocal.Never got a response from him, but received a call from Anthony, who just tried to sell us the car again! Its not about the truck at that point, it is the principal of how a prospective customer should be treated.
Bottom line I do NOT recommend HB Chrysler to anyone that is trying to purchase a car. And Miss Kelsey, before you reply back with some snarky comments and try to explain how much volume you guys do annually, please keep in mind that you are representing the integrity of your company.

Here at Huntington Beach Jeep. Luis Presa is taking good care of me… getting me a GREAT deal on my Jeep Compass. Now that I have a Compass I will never get lost right!!!

I had the worst experience here. Found a car I liked online. Made an appointment with Eva to come see it. On the way, I even called her to say I was on my way (Drove over an hour to get there.) First hint should have been when she didn’t pick up the phone to answer the call.
So I get there, and the car isn’t there. After an hour of searching they eventually find it in the service area, MISSING it’s front and back bumper. Annnnnd, they can’t find the keys. So I took time off from work and drove over an hour for nothing. And remember, I made an appointment that morning, and even called them that evening when I was on my way.
They apologized and said someone would call me the next day. Nope. I waited. And then I eventually ended up calling them at the end of the day. I think I ended up talking to around 4 different people there over the course of a week. Not once did any of these different people call me or call me back. So no-​one from their office makes or returns phone calls. Ever…
And the car wasn’t the model they claimed it was on their site. It was at least a model/​trim or two lower… Which is thousands of dollars different.

It’s been a few month since I was at Huntington Beach Jeep Dealership but I’ve been meaning to write this review.
I have owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee for 5 years and came in last December to buy a 2015 or 2016 to replace my aging 2012. The salesman I was assigned to a very little knowledge of the different models or what models they had on the lot.
Instead he sat at his desk scrolling through their online page going from car to car just as I could have done from my iPhone sitting on my couch.
Once I showed some in interest in one particular car he had his manager come in with his 10 years of experience… which he didn’t hesitate to mention 4 – 5 times. He insisted they do not negotiate on price because they don’t have to. «We are the number one Jeep dealership in the country, we don’t have to negotiate.»
So let me get this right, all you guys do is sit at your desk and scroll through internet pages telling me every car you see is the right one for me. Then when we do find one, there is absolutely no negotiations on price? Seems like there’s no need for a sales person at this dealership. I can do that on my own at home. Least professional sales atmosphere I’ve seen in years.
Ended up buying my 2015 Jeep at Orange Coast Jeep the next day. Great place, with people that work hard for their living and care about customer service.
I’m sorry to have read the immediate response below from the dealership. I ended up buying one of the same models we went over in Huntington Beach for about $ 5,000 less at Orange Coast the very next day. I never poorly review any businesses and to say that the terrible service and lack of professionalism I experienced at HB Jeep is «self inflicted» is hilarious. Well done!

I knew based on every other negative experience on here you would respond the same way but it is still shocking.
There is no confusion to speak of. We made it crystal clear we wanted a bare bones purchase of just a car and the 3 day return option, thats it. Is it possible you are embaressed from the actions of your staff and are trying to save face? because we certainly did not change our minds. How much clearer could we have been? So to correct you; you reversed the charges that should have never been there. The comments that were said to my mother were appalling and primarily the reason we decided to write about our experience.
All a Unilocaler has to do is look at your responses to literally every single negative experience to see that you virtually never accept responsibility for your dealerships actions and seem more concerned with typing up a snarky comment filled rebuttal instead of addressing the issue that caused the clients dissatisfaction. Your response to a previous Unilocalers review was «most negative experiences are self inflicted» Wow… Really,? Is that your dealerships official stance? That explains a lot.
Your offer of returning the car after we’ve wasted many hours dealing with this issue and already had our credit ran and a loan is hardly a good option.
And btw you brag about how great your dealership is, how much you sell and how long youve
business. The dealership 41 years ago means nothing to your customers today. What matters is how you guys conduct business today, not during the Vietnam war.

The Owner is very nice and he took care of all the concerns I had with my vehicle. They did a great job repairing and repainting the bumpers on my car and even threw in a complementary oil change and detailed my car. Thank you again!

Everyone here is great, I had the best service and the guys all worked with my situation and figured out a plan that was best for me. Andrei Torres helped me with my trade in car and helped get the most out of it. He was great! He set me up with Robert Castillo, who helped me pick out a car. When I explained to him what my price limit was and the type of car I wanted he knew exactly which one was for me. I instantly fell in love, of course I looked a few others but in the end I got the one he picked out. He was spot on! Thanks Robert! Also, Bobby Valenzuela helped me out with getting the best bang for my buck! All of these guys were so helpful for my first time buying a car. I had a great experience and the prices are fantastic!!! I will recommend this place every time! Thank you everyone!!!

Easy, fast and actually FUN!!! :) This is my second car from the folks at Huntington Beach, we couldn’t be happier. I have to say– I always do my homework. Despite my previously WONDERFUL experience here, I still shopped around at FIVE local dealerships… a girl has to cover her bases. HB Jeep STILL beat them all! Greg got us a GREAT deal!!! Tom Cruz (I know Ha!) helped with our trade-​in– um, we didn’t love the first quote, didn’t love Tom’s second quote… but his third quote was more like it, and we didn’t have the time to haggle. I actually recommend selling on Craigslist or CarMax instead. If the MANAGER can’t get you the best deal the first time around? That’s scary. We’re contacting HIS management too. :)
Chris was awesome with the financing– we laughed so much, it was crazy. Hubby and I were in and out of there so fast– laughs the entire time. Totally impressed, and we’ll definitely come back for a THIRD time.

I used to come here until February 2015 when my so called «express» oil change took over 2 hours, and felt my time and money was appreciated elsewhere. My car started to leak water and my Jeep mechanic said it was probably the water pump. Since I purchased my car here, I decided to give them one more chance to redeem themselves, and let them take care of it, since it was still under warranty.
I made an appointment at 7:30 am on a Thursday. When I arrived, I told the service adviser I would wait, and she said «oh no» that it would take a day, and lent me a loaner car. I get a call at 1:00 and the adviser said they don’t think its the water pump but behind the engine, and that it’ll be a few more days.
A few more days? Apparently, warranty cars who aren’t paying customers get 3^rd priority. I was told the mechanic has 2 cars ahead of me on the rack, both of which needed transmissions fixed.
On Monday I called her at 1:00 and they «just» looked at my car. It wasn’t the water pump but something else. They also suggested a mini tune up, and a flush for $ 500. WTH? I just had my service done 2 months ago at the other Jeep dealer.
I asked the adviser if her mechanic even bothered to take look at the sparkplugs, and she said no. They based it on mileage. Apparently I could have paid $ 500 for work that was JUST done a few months ago. Outraged, I told her to fix the stuff I came there for, and let me get my car back ASAP.
She said the work could take a few more days because they need to «take apart my engine» What does she mean «a few more days»? They’ve had it since Thursday. Could she narrow down the days? She said «Maybe by the 5^th» which was Friday. HUH? They need to keep my car hostage for over a week!?! I told her it was unacceptable, as I was going on vacation.
MIRACLES happen! On Wednesday at 5:30, I got a call saying «Your car is put back together. We replaced the valve, sealed up some stuff, and oh. we decided to replace the water pump after all» The adviser said they went ahead and did it since it was under warranty, saves them the trouble in the long run. Unfortunately the Hertz rental car closes at 6, so I had to go in on Thursday to get my car.
This took exactly a week to have my car repaired. I’m sure if I were to pay for the service, it would have been faster, but since I am a «Priority 3» Warranty job, they took their time.
OVERALL: 2 generous stars. No, definitely not 3 stars because–
1) They had my car hostage since Thursday, and they didn’t even look at it until Monday.
2) Their mechanic tried to snooker me into getting a $ 500 service I already had done. Sure, if I needed the service I would have done it, but the mechanic DIDN’T EVEN CHECK FIRST? No wonder auto mechanics have lousy reputation of hoodwinking customers, especially helpless women.
The only reason they did earn 2 stars is they offered me a loaner car, which they clearly states on the paperwork: is a «courtesy» not a right. Well, THANK YOU Jeep for the courtesy. Too bad you took over a week and tried to suck me out of a $ 500 service.

Your mechanic wanted me to do a service already done. How am I supposed to react? If I were to say yes, I would have paid $ 500 for a service the other dealer performed 2 months ago.
I gave your dealership another chance and this is how your mechanic tries to help me?
Your adviser said a day or so for my repair. Your dealership had my car for 6 days… Only because I told the adviser I am going on vacation Friday. Otherwise I was told Friday it may be ready. May!
I DO use other dealerships but truly tried to give the dealership who sold me my car a THIRD chance. Don’t try to make my review look deceitful.
