This is by far mine and my boyfriends favorite sushi place to go. Every time we go out for holiday we come here for the all you can eat sushi! The service is always amazing, the staff here is so genuine & the food never fails. The price is so affordable for the crazy amount of food you get. Every time we go here we always leave with a smile on our faces & bellies so full we can’t move. Thank you Joe’s I’ll be seeing you REAL soon.

I’ve driven by it a 1000 times and finally decided to give it a try. Don’t let the name fool you. It’s really good. Decent size. Very casual. Not crowded. One of the best crunchy rolls I’ve ever had. Definitely going back.

I usually get sushi to go as takeout so I thought I’d try this place out. Overall, not bad. Going to try their all you can eat sometime to see how that goes. The rolls can be rolled a tad but tighter to avoid falling apart. Other than that not bad.

Best Sushi around Southern California. All you can eat for just 1 very low price. $ 23.95 Dinner. I have been friends with both Joe and his beautiful Wife MiMi. You always feel like family. A friend of mine brought me here… All you can eat sushi hmmm I thought how fresh can it be. It was actually good for the price. I’m not one to get my money’s worth though for all you can eat places… For I really don’t eat that much and I prefer sashimi over sushi rolls… prefer less rice. I recommend this place… if you are on a tight budget but want to have good times with good friends and some good drinks.

I’m sorry but what goes hand-in-hand with sushi? Soy sauce, wasabi and maybe ginger I thought… Well, not at this joint. I ordered to-go and my food was ready on time when I got there and all but when I got home and opened my food there’s no soy sauce, wasabi, ginger AND utensils! AND I tipped them for a to-go order!!! That’s my fault.

I won’t come back here. First they wouldn’t let me sit at the bar. Then they sat me at a table with other people. Since I was alone it made me feel weird. I always sit at a bar by myself. The drinks are 2 dollars and they give you a can of soda. Save yourself the money and bring your own can. The miso soup wasn’t served with a plastic spoon like every other Japanese place I’ve been to… it was a metal one so it kept burning my tongue and when the soup was cold enough that the spoon didn’t burn it didn’t taste good anymore. The edamame cost more than the roll which is strange cause sometimes they just give you edamame without charging. Nothing was wrong with the food in my opinion it tasted fine. Everyone complained about too much rice I didn’t think that at all. I’d come back if I was doing the all you can eat sushi but just as myself to a sushi place I won’t return.

Its your basic sushi joint. Went there with a few buddies for an all you can eat deal. For the price, i couldnt complain. It was $ 20ish but we ate an amount that would have cost us probably $ 40 – 50 at a normal sushi place. As far as quality, it wasnt bad by any means, but its also nothing to write home about. There was only 2 or 3 other people in there aside from us, so service was very fast. This is the type of place to go to if you really want to do an «all you can eat» with your buddies or something, but i wouldnt take a first date here. Its not fancy or anything like some other upscale shops, its like just going to a burger joint, they just serve sushi instead. Anyway, TL;DR version Nothing bad to say at all, but also nothing special about it.

For a small, hole-in-the-wall AYCE sushi place, it wasn’t bad. For the price, the service was fast and the food was decent. The rolls were much better than the sashimi — most of the fish we ordered for sashimi was bland and strange colors. The vegetable tempura, calamari tempura, and miso soup were tasty. I also enjoyed the Mother’s Roll, Crunch Roll, and Pizza Roll. Some of the rolls came out oddly fast … Making me question whether they were prepared fresh or already made and just sitting there. Regardless, we enjoyed our fill. Maybe not my #1AYCE sushi place but a decent option.

This was my first time visiting Joe’s, one of my friends highly recommended them and since I’m not a real fan of «all you can eat sushi» I just brushed it off… Boy was I wrong! This place is really good, the service is above par, they are super friendly and traditional. My family of 4, including my 2 boys(10&11) left quite content with full bellies. They are very quick to service and we never had an empty glass… Usually kids in sushi places are not very well received but that wasn’t the case here at Joe’s. We will surely be back and highly recommend this place if you are looking for a cheap family sushi dinner. This place is pretty small though so if you have a semi-large group you should definitely call in advance to see if they have a table available.

This place is terrible. $ 24 all you can eat and you get what you pay for. Everything was loaded with way too much rice. The place was almost empty on a Friday night. The only waitress stood next to me and watched me eat the whole time. The service was interesting. Instead of speaking, the sushi chef would cough louder and louder to get my attention when my food was ready. Then I saw him talking to the waitress. AVOID this place. There are soooo many better options. The fish was poor quality. The tuna was a faded pink color and not flavorful. It was hard to taste anything but rice.

I was wary going to an all you can eat sushi place but it was great and very fresh. I was craving just sushi so that’s mainly what I had. The yellowtail, salmon and tuna was outstanding. I also got the salmon skin hand roll and it was very good. We left there only spending $ 50 when we generally tend to spend $ 100+ so we’re pretty happy! Only negative would be the décor but when the food is good who cares? It was a comfortable restaurant and clean.

Atmosphere: Casual. Tables with a sushi bar when you enter. I was not a fan of Joe’s, they don’t have a large menu and seemed to of been«out» of a lot of rolls.

I was sadden to hear that the one in Buena Park closed down. But this place, in particular, was just as fab! There are some rolls that you cannot find on the menu such as the Superman burrito or the Juliet roll. They have the Romeo roll too. Give it a try; you will not be disappointed. Oooo, their shooters are pretty tasty as well. It has a tamarind sauce, topped with green onions, and lime juice. And don’t forget the Gilroy roll. I will come back here because of the friendly service and the chefs always check up on you periodically.

The wife and I have been going to Joe’s Sushi since they were in Buena Park. The sushi here has always been fresh, consistant and delicious. The price for AYCE sushi is great especially with the amount of rolls and appetizers included. Joe and his wife are kind and very friendly. The best sushi in Orange County.

My first visit at Joe’s Sushi was years ago when I was still a sushi virgin. I still remember the very first time. Not knowing what to expect, I was anxious, nervous and excited all the same time. Without holding back I took it all in and just like that I was no longer a sushi virgin. I’ll never forgot it. After my first experience, I quickly became addicted. A Korean family owned restaurant, Joe is the head chef, Mimi his wife is the waitress and Kyle is Joe’s brother in law and also the other sushi chef. Originally in Buena Park, Joe sold that location and opened the new one in Huntington Beach. A smaller size restaurant with about 12 at the sushi bar and 8 tables. Joe’s Sushi is All you can eat. The lunch is $ 18.99 and dinner is $ 23.99. There’s also a regular menu and ala carte. I’ve tried everything on the menu but my must haves are ; — Crunch roll — Rainbow roll — 911 — Crazy — Caterpillar — Mothers Alaskan dynamite is a baked dish loaded with baked scallops, crab meat and rice. It’s topped with a sweet and creamy sauce, so good! My número uno is the shrimp shrimp boat. It’s not on the menu but can still be ordered, not extra $. Shrimp shrimp boat is cooked shrimp on top of rice with big chunks of crab meat and a quail egg cracked on top. Spicy and seasame oil drizzled on top, it’s sushi heaven. Keeping it real. It’s not the fanciest place and it might not be mouth watering sushi, but having to been to countless sushi bars, the sushi at Joe’s is fresh and delicious. There is a big variety of rolls and there is no going wrong with the price. Service is great and Joe and Mimi have a heart of gold. I heart Joe’s Sushi!
