I definitely recommend JYK vet. I called last Saturday to make an appt for my cat and Dr Kim said to just bring her in. He did an exam and took care of the issue and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. (My cats issue had to do with her butt so didn’t want to go into detail about it). He didn’t try to sell me any un-​needed extra tests or shots. Dr. Kim was friendly and gentle with my cat. Ill definitely go there next time.

This place is awesome. I’m so happy to have found the perfect vet just right down the road from where we live. We just rescued a kitten and I was worried about vet expenses, I called many places asking the prices and they were way too pricey for me. I finally got ahold of JYK and they were the most reasonably priced place around here, I called around 7am not expecting anyone to answer because it was so early but sure enough Dr. Kim answered and scheduled me for an appointment right away which worked out perfect. When we got there we were greeted by Missy who is the technician and she was such a sweetheart, she was very friendly with Warner kitten and even clipped her nails for us.
Dr. Kim came right away with all the vaccinations. He was calm and gentle with Warner she didn’t even notice the shots.
Like I said this place is AWESOME. You would be silly not to bring your furry loved ones here.

My dog ate something bad and started puking & had diarrhea with a lot of blood in her stool. It was very alarming because it was happening every hour. We called this office right away because it’s so close to us, it’s open early & he had great reviews. Well he really is a fantastic Doctor. He fit us in right away, was very nice & knowledgeable & well priced. I’ll definitely be sticking with this doctor from now on!

My dog, Ginger, had this bloody growth under her tongue which she irritated eating a raw, meaty bone. (Raw fed!) It bled for 3 days. I thought it would clot. At 10 am Friday, I knew I needed a vet. Dr. Kim said to bring Ginger over. We got there at noon, dd a consult, I left Ginger there. Dr Kim surgically removed the clot/​hematoma, plus a couple ugly growths from her head for a reasonable price. I had my dog home by 6pm.
I like that Dr Kim answers the phone alot, that most of the time I can get right in, his prices are reasonable, he’s a gentle/​kind man (which is important if I’m leaving my dog there). And he called to see how Ginger was the day after her surgery.

(Last year, Dr Kim removed a fatty tumor on Gingers head. We’ve been at his office for minor stiff, too.)

I’m new to the area with 2 small dogs. I’m very particular who I let manage their care. I searched several vets and thankfully I selected JYK. The office isn’t big or fancy; however, the service was awesome. I highly recommend JYK Vet.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! I have never had a vet treat my kitty and myself so well. Dr Kim stayed late one day to help my kitty, and also came in 2 hours early so I could drop off my kitty before work so he could run some tests on her. He’s thorough and will keep you updated on how much the procedures will cost. I absolutely love this veterinary clinic!

I moved to Huntington Beach and interviewed different vets. I wanted a doctor who I would feel comfortable with and not sell up. I found the best vet ever. Dr. Kim in Huntington Beach is amazing. He takes care of my senior dog and my new puppy.
His costs are so reasonable too. I love him.

Love this office and doctor. Very honest and treated my dog so well. Will be bringing all my other dogs from now on!!!

My friend and I went looking around for a good vet in HB, we went to several different places on Edinger and Warner.
This guy had the best prices hands down. You can save hundreds on procedures here, compared to the other places (no exaggeration). I take my dog here and he does exactly what is needed. Nothing unnecessary to make more money. The vet also seems to know a lot and have good experience.
I will not go anywhere else! :)

Dr. Kim is the best! He is very attentive and patient with me and my pets. He also explains what is best for my pet very efficiently and directly. Would highly recommend!

It was time to get my little maltipoo spayed and like any first-​time «mom» I was super nervous. Dr Kim took very good care of my little girl. She healed perfectly! I will definitely take my dog back to Dr. Kim.
