Liberty Christian School

This morning I had the pleasure of observing my son in Miss Melissa’s class. And to say I was impressed is an understatement. Nixon is my first and only child so transitioning from in-​home daycare with family into preschool with a set schedule, curriculum and time away from home has been a big adjustment on both of us. The first two weeks were tough but fast forward to present day and he is so comfortable and enjoys school. Every morning when we drive to school and make the right onto Nichols street he always says, «I want to have fun with my friends mommy!» It makes my heart full to know that he loves CLP since; let’s face it, he spends a majority of his time there.
Now back to this morning— Miss Melissa makes some of the coolest art projects with the kids all relevant towards what they are learning in class. For example, when they learned the letter «A,» she did arts and crafts with the letter «A.» Nixon brings something new, and creative home every day and I’ve always thought, how awesome! Well now I think, so awesome… because Miss Melissa works one on one with each of her students while they do their craft or worksheet. Meanwhile the other children have free time. Once one is done they rotate the child. Seeing this in real life with my own eyes was great. I love how the teacher cares to give them each their own one-​on-​one, undivided attention. (They need that!!!)After each child got their turn and completed their project, they cleaned up the toys and had circle time on the «bug rug!» Cute and clever right?! Miss Melissa read a handful of books that all the children knew. They participated with her reading along, responding to questions, and guessing what was next as their teacher was fun and animated. After story time, they all sang songs together, reviewed what they have learned so far in the school year, got their mats ready for nap time and headed out to lunch.
I, like most parents, was so curious about how my child’s day to day went and I am so glad I found out! Miss Melissa is a real treat and I feel extremely blessed that Nixon gets to have her as a teacher this school year. In his few, short, weeks of attendance he has grown and learned so much! I am proud to be apart of LCP! Kudos!
Also, a big shout out to all of the other teachers, and staff members as well, I saw a glimpse of their interactions at lunch time and again, very impressed! Everyone is so friendly, and really just so fun!

This is a great school! My daughter joined mid-​year last year and was accepted with open arms. She felt at home right away and is thriving. I thought about moving her to our neighborhood school which is close by and highly rated, but when I approached her about it she was in tears. She feels so safe, secure and valued at Liberty! Then when I thought about the student/​teacher ratio and the environment rich with the arts and Christian values, there was no way I was moving her!

Just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate the loving, caring, Christ centered atmosphere at Liberty Christian. My granddaughter started her first year of school here last year after having spent only a couple of weeks in the public school system. A couple of weeks was really all it took for her parents to know that was not what they wanted for her. What a blessing it is to have the values you are trying to instill in your child at home be supported and nurtured at the place they spend the majority of their day. I cannot say enough good things about her last year’s teacher, Mrs. Lapporte. Bella absolutely fell in love with her which was totally understandable. She is such a loving caring person. We watched her meet each child where they were at. This you would never get in a public school. I feel she started my granddaughter’s school life on such positive path. That first year is so important to help them have a love for school and learning and Mrs. Lapporte went above and beyond to create an environment that was conducive to learning with such obvious love for each child. I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting her teacher this year but my daughter and son-​in-​law have had such good things to say about her that I am sure Bella will have another wonderful year at Liberty.
If you are looking for a school, I highly recommend Liberty Christian. There isn’t a better choice you could make for your child!

Amazing things are happening at this school. In such a short time they have built such a beautiful God loving child of mine. At 6 she can quote more bible versus then her parents. They have no idea how they have improved the quality of the whole family just through my child. The teachers are all loving, kind and patient. They know every child by name even if they are not in their class. Mr. Whitmire (principal) is accessible every day and greets you with a smile each morning. This is our 2^nd year at Liberty Christian and things keep improving. The curriculum is rigorous and challenging. The classes are small so nobody is left behind. In first grade my child is involved in Spanish class, chess club and media class. My child is so happy, that really tells the tale! She loves loves to go to school! Thank you for all you do Liberty!!!

Liberty Christian School is nothing short of amazing. I have two children in the Elementary School. One in First grade and the other is in Fifth grade. They are given individual attention and everyone knows and loves them. My husband and I juggle work and family, and one of the things that keeps us sane is their awesome after school Daycare. Not only is it affordable, more importantly, we know that they enjoy it and are safe. Our kids constantly beg to stay for Daycare which says all you need to know about how they feel about their school. They can’t get enough of it. We are so blessed to have found this school.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the school, the staff and the education. My daughter came from a public school and had a horrible experience. We came to Liberty Christian when she was in 2^nd grade. She was so shy she wouldn’t talk to anyone and had absolutely no confidence. Liberty Christian has done wonders for her. She has friends and raises her hand in class now. She begs to go to all the school events and absolutely loves school. I still have two boys in public school and I feel they got ripped off, the difference in a public school vs. Liberty Christian is night and day. Every penny I pay for her to attend is so worth it. She gets to experience music, computers, 2^nd language, art, plays, Christian beliefs and so much more. I cannot Thank Liberty Christian enough for what they have done for our family and our daughter. :)

By far the best investment I have ever made in my son’s education. Between the wonderful staff and students, my son has not only gained an excellent education, but a second family and memories he will always treasure. If you want a great elementary and high school experience for your child, this is the right place. :)

WE CANNOT WRITE ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT LIBERTY CHRISTIAN. Our daughter has been attending Liberty for one semester, and has already brought her grades up immensely. Having attended a well-​known Catholic school in the area, with large classes, the attention the students get from the amazing staff at Liberty is night-​and-​day different.
When we were looking to change schools for 6^th grade, we attended Liberty’s Science Fair and Technology Night, and were floored by how bright, welcoming and articulate all of the students were. A couple of the students took our daughter on a tour of the campus, while we talked to teachers, administrators and other students. We couldn’t believe what an amazing place this was.
This wholesome Christian environment, has brought out the BEST in our daughter. She has found a new person inside of her, with close friends and dedicated educators. The music program is unbelieveable. Prior to attending Liberty, our daughter showed no interest in playing any instrument, but at Liberty, she enjoys participating, playing at special events and being with her friends. The sports programs have also sparked new interests for our daughter, and at Liberty, everyone plays!!!
Tuition at Liberty is extremely reasonable, and the affiliation with Crosspoint Church, makes this a place of whole-​family growth. Having driven-​by the property for many years, we only wish we would have moved to Liberty sooner. The facility is clean, safe and up-​to-​date with technology. A GREAT school with GREAT people.

This is our first year at Liberty Christian and our family absolutely love it. My daughter is in kindergarten and we are so impressed with the academic and social growth she has made already. I recommend Liberty to any family who is looking for a Christian, biblical basis for teachings. This school, staff, teachers, and students are all like a family and it is really true. During just the first two weeks of school I just knew we had found a dream school because everyone already knew my daughters name, even the upper elementary kids! It is so awesome to see all the students really showing care and friendship to one another. I can’t wait to get my daughter involved in the music and sports opportunities. We look forward to seeing all my kids grow up at Liberty.

We have been involved with Liberty school over three Decades! We had a foster son there in his junior high years in the 80’s. My Son played football there and graduated in 2008. We had daughter there for Junior High as well. And now my 16 year old son is playing football on their wonderful 8 man team. Liberty has come along side our family and blessed in so many ways. Although we have also used home schooling for our children, we have been given such wonderful opportunities to be involved at just the right time for each one. What a wonderful leadership team, teachers, and student body. We thank God for LCS.

Oh how we love Liberty. Let me count the ways. 1. Christ is at the center of it all. 2. The teachers and staff care about your child’s education. 3. Smaller class sizes. 4. Close knit environment means you feel like family. (the good side of the family). 5. Because it is a K-​12 school, your child has the older kids «looking» out for them. I have seen this first hand. 6. Fun outings (field trips). 7. Prayer. as a group, and when your child is having a rough day. It is the first answer always. 8. My son is happy there. 9. He is challenged academically. and finally number 10. It truly is affordable. We love Liberty Christian.

Great school. I will be a junior, and I have attended Liberty Christian since kindergarten. The best thing about Liberty is the loving Christian environment. The teachers are passionate about helping students learn and grow in Christ. Another benefit of going to Liberty is the fact that you can do EVERYTHING! I am currently in choir and part of the handbell choir, I sing in the praise band, and I play both volleyball and softball. The academics are excellent at Liberty. I am part of the National Society for High School Scholars, all because my teachers care about me academic future. Liberty’s small class sizes allow the teachers can focus on each individual student.
