I’ve eaten here more than a few times and I always leave happy and I’m not even a vegetarian/vegan. Prices are fair and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. The tempeh they sub for meat is about the best I’ve had.

If you’re looking around for a vegetarian place with the option of grocery shopping while you wait, go here! I got the udon ginger kale tempeh dish. It was so good and large enough for two people. I will definitely be back for more. Yum!

We frequent the restaurant and the food is outstanding. I will suggest the Ma’s nachos and Ma’s stir fry. Also the soy beef tastes so much like beef with a little bit of sweetness. The ginger peach iced is awesome. Most of the staff is wonderful and are very attentive

The restaurant entrance is inside Mother’s Market back by the juices and salads. Service and staff were great. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which were very bland. It came with a good sized portion, but there was just not much flavor to it. Prices are decent(I think around $ 10 for mine). They do offer early morning breakfast specials, too. I think everything served here is vegetarian, or at least most items.

I love Mother’s Market, been going for years. I especially like this location. I always seem to be able to find parking even when it’s crowded. I like that they’re not super overpriced as Whole Foods. Their produce which is all organic(for the most part) is outstanding. Sometimes it can be cheap as Trader Joe’s prices too! I love how they display them so neatly organized, it’s unlike any other I’ve seen. I like getting specialty vegan items here that I can’t find at Trader Joe’s. Sometimes I can find quality vitamins on sale for a really great price too. I really like dining here as well. The food is simple but always hits the spot. I have tried a lot of things from breakfast to lunch to dinner and everything in between. The dining prices can be a bit steep for me sometimes but the portions make up for that. Their fresh pressed juices are awesome 100% unless otherwise specified. Definitely way way cheaper than Whole Foods. You can get a large juice for $ 9 rather than $ 15 – 16 at Whole Foods. They don’t skimp either, when I order any juice with garlic or ginger it’s very potent which I love.(Garlic is good for when you’re sick. Ginger is good for the tummy. In case you’re wondering or grossed out as to why there would be garlic added to juices. Haha) Overall I love the cleanliness, homey atmosphere, and friendly service. I hope that aspect doesn’t change because that is part of their genuine integrity.

Absolutely love this place and won’t go anywhere else for my lotions, soaps, chapstick etc. They have a great selection of all my favorite goodies! Nuts, kombucha, vegetarian freezer section and tea galore… I love this place, no complaints! Keep it up!

Quick and friendly service when you’re in a rush ! Ordered the Pitaya Smoothie(which is basically dragonfruit /Pitaya, strawberries and banana) A 32oz smoothie cost me $ 10.95– first time I’ve ever spent that amount on a single smoothie, but the smoothie and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty so it was worth it. I am going back to try some of the other deli options like pasta and lasagna. There is a large variety of healthy lunch/dinner options at the deli so you won’t be disappointed(neither will your health !)

I call this location Mother’s Market«Express». It’s smaller than the usual, but it gets the job done. I usually get my daily juice here(Aloha Goddess) and while I wait for it, I grab a few necessities. They lack a few things but their wide variety of supplements make up for it. Also, they have a small café for you to enjoy their goodies. Lots of parking and it’s located in a shopping center where there are lots well known establishments.

I was a little disappointed in this place. I heard such great things about their food/restaurant. I finally got a chance to try it out! The wait was really long. I waited quite a while for a breakfast sandwich which was ordered to go. I finally got my food and it wasn’t very good. This place is more of a hole in the wall«health store». It’s also VERY small and compact. Not much room to move around. I prefer whole foods for both groceries and prepared foods.

The Kitchen: I am literally almost here every day, lol. Been going for a couple years now. I am addicted to the breakfast, specifically a scramble. Just purely delicious. I get it with the roasted potatoes, usually rye or sourdough toast. I’m allergic to dairy, and they have beyond enough dairy-free options. Before my more-than-just-often dine-in, my experience with the staff was nothing but enjoyable and now that I have made an acquaintance with nearly the entire staff, it’s even more enjoyable. This place has become me and my gfs favorite breakfast joint. Ginger Peach Iced Tea!

My new favorite lunch spot when I’m craving for vegan/vegetarian food. The portions are really generous I can never finish everything in one sitting. The tofu mushroom melt looks good, but it was actually really really bland and the ingredients just somehow didn’t work well together. I recommend the teriyaki chicken bowl with the vegan chickin’ and sauce on the side so it stays nice and crispy. Their teriyaki sauce is really good but it might be a little too much if you don’t control how much sauce you add.

I’m vegetarian so I love this place! They have an extended menu to cater to everyone’s needs(Vegan/Vegetarians), from breakfast to dinner,(serving breakfast all day) so I’m always here for a good meal! I’ve been to every other Mother’s but I think this one is my favorite by far! Great food, great staff! Just had breakfast here but I’ll see you guys soon.(;

Mother’s is awesome and has been long before whole foods or sprouts or any of their competition. It’s an HB mainstay so I enjoy frequenting and even spending some extra cash on occasion to get something unique or different. DONOT pass on their restaurant and/or juice bar which is so good. Get dat ginger fizz.

Very vegan friendly place. They had a little restaurant in here that I went with a vegan girl. I’ll need to keep it in mind for vegan girls. And it was super tasty. I have always preferred the taste of vegetarian meats over actual meats.

My daughter began a vegan diet about a month ago. My wife and I did our best to support her new diet and did not try to convince her to change her mind. If that’s what she wanted, so be it. She found it to be just too restrictive and decided last week that she would be a vegetarian. Basically, she wanted to eat dairy and eggs again. OK, she really missed pizza! Oh, well. She is gorgeous and healthy and happy so whatever she wants, we will support her. While my wife was hosting a Chocoholic/Tupperware party last night, I took my girl to Mother’s. We tried Vegan Nirvana last week and she like this place just as much. Lots more options to choose from here and a more comfortable relaxed atmosphere. She had portobello mushroom sandwich with quinoa and I opted for a soyrizo(tastes like chorizo) Mexican salad. We both really enjoyed the dishes and the attentive service by Swan. Decent value and a large eclectic menu.

My friends and I have been coming here for approximately three months. We are from out of town and would really like Mothers Market to open a store up in the high desert, Apple Valley, or Hesperia area. The high desert is in big need for A quality health food restaurant and market. All the staff are helpful and very knowledgeable. We would like to point out a handful of employees that are exceptional. Such as, Leslie in the vitamin department, manager Vanessa, Kristen and Smoothie Dude at the restaurant, you know what, I don’t want to exclude anybody because they are ALL so great. It’s a must to check out the produce department, second to none!

So far not impressed with the restaurant. Have waited for 40 minutes and the server hasn’t checked on us not one time. We have no silverware, no water, what the hell kind of place is this? I ordered a buritto Deluxe and my wife order something I forget what but no joke we waiting so damn long we almost were about to say the hell with place and just leave. Then I flagged for the server and asked if my food is coming out he was like yeah sorry for the wait. Then about 5 minutes later our food came out and it looked good but my rice was luke warm, my burrito was black beans, cheese and tortilla. I think Chef Mic made it. Chef Mic as in Chef Microwave. The inside of the Burrito was half cold. The cheese wasn’t melted. It was just awful. I really expected more but there service didn’t even meet the basic standard. They just forgot about us. Luckily our server knew he fucked up and took 50% off the bill which way nice but the food sucked. So bummed. I like Mothers Market but not the Kitchen. Thanks for ruining my beautiful Sunday Afternoon. :(
