My Tattoo is a multi-​cultural tattoo shop located in Southern California. We specialize in producing a variety of tattoos using both machine and traditional tebori hand style. We are dedicated to providing you with exceptional body art and customer service.

It is our responsibility to provide you with a safe, clean, and friendly environment to satisfy your desire for tattooing and body piercing. We are all Blood Borne Pathogen Certified Body Art Technicians (blood disease prevention training). We only use brand new, sterile single-​use needles for every tattoo and piercing. We use professional grade materials and sterilize all equipment using a three step process in order to ensure you receive a clean and safe body modification.

History

My Tattoo, Huntington Beach is a newly established location in Orange County by Jess Yen Tattoo Family and My Tattoo in Los Angeles County has been in business since January 2001. This new expansion into Orange County, Jess Yen Tattoo Family member artists, Andy Tran, Man Yao, Lucy Hu and Kohei Toyama, are bringing their many years experience in artistry and tattooing and providing their best of work and service to clients in OC.

Starting as a Tebori (traditional hand-​poked tattooing) artist in 1992, Jess Yen is the fearless leader and creator of Horiyen Family. The name «Horiyen» is derived from Japanese kanji of «Hori», meaning to tattoo and English pronunciation of his last name, «Yen.» Jess Yen was born and raised in Taiwan, but now a proud and patriotic American. He appreciates very much of his opportunities, and love and supports from Americans who have helped him to fulfill his American dream.

In addition to Tebori method, Jess offers service in electrical tattoo machine. He is a multi-​awarded artist by both national and international tattoo conventions. His specialties are Oriental body suit and realistic portraits in both color and black & grey. He is known as a master of Realism Oriental art style where you find elements of realism and materialism in his work.
