I should start by saying that I have not been a patient here, myself. but… I urge anyone who is considering this facility as a treatment option for themself or a loved one to watch the vice news exposé entitled «dying for treatment.» I sincerely hope that anyone who does wind up getting treatment here manages to get what they need to begin the recovery process. but this place’s history doesn’t suggest that it’s likely. that’s why they changed their name. just watch the vice news story. you’ll see what I mean.
I’m sorry. I don’t mean to poo-​poo someone’s business, but this is people’s lives we’re dealing with here. this isn’t shopping for a used car. addiction is heavy, destructive stuff. & life is precious.
if my post is inappropriate, then I apologize & I’ll remove it. but people need to know about the history of this place.

My brother has been sober for over a year because of this place. The location is convenient for us with parking in the back. There are a few IOP’s to choose from in this area but we went with OCRS because they seemed to be the most understanding with our circumstance. My brother has been to rehabs all over the United States and nothing worked until OCRS. I watched his attitude change about his IOP group sessions and he was able to make good sober friends. Richard and Edie made every effort to keep my brother on the right track daily and now he is living the best life I’ve seen since we were kids.

I’ve had a drug problem for over ten years, I’ve been to multiply different treatments and out patient programs. Orange County Recovery Services is the only place that has given real support and care to help me get better. I wish I would’ve gone to them ten years ago. I have the upmost love and respect for Edie and Richard because I wouldn’t be where I am now with over a year sober and the job of my dreams. I love OCRS and if anyone is serious about recovering this is the number one place to go.

These guys are straight con artists… Don’t give them a dime!
