Quest Diagnostics

I had to have 22 vials of blood drawn. I am TERRIFIED of getting my blood drawn as well as I only have one vein that anyone can ever get. I laid down (I tend to always faint) and Aaron was so incredible. I would not have fainted based off of the gentleness of Aaron. Once he got to about the 14^th vial, I could feel myself getting ready to pass out so he stayed calm, and asked if I wanted him to stop. I told him to keep going as I didn’t want to go through this again. LOL
The second he was done with the last vial, I went out. It took me so so so long to come back. I am already very ill and anemic so this all was caused by having so many vials drawn. Not his technique, he was great. I wish I could remember the other phlebotomists name that came in. She is super sweet and professional. She has been there 6 years and is Asian. She made me feel SO COMFORTABLE in a terrifying situation. I was so appreciative of her caring nature. They took their time with me and wanted to make sure I was okay before I left. They were running into their lunch hour and I felt so bad but she kept reassuring me, it was fine and for me to take my time as my health was most important.
My husband and I were extremely impressed. The facility was clean and modern. Since I have Lyme Disease, I got a chuckle at the Lime colored walls but they really helped me feel better than a sterile white or gray wall.

This place is terminally overbooked and understaffed. If you make an appointment, you’ll wait half an hour or more. If you don’t make an appointment, you will wait 1 – 2 hours. The theory apparently is that nobody ever had urgent health concerns.
And no matter how many times you’ve been here, they don’t have any of your info on file.
Also, customer service is surly on a good day, downright hostile on a bad day.
Aren’t monopolies grand? I literally cried when Hoag’s lab was switched to Quest.
In good news, they usually actually run the required tests and I haven’t contracted hepatitis yet.

I wish I could give no stars. Made an appointment online for my 8 years old to have her blood work done. Appt set for 3:15, got here at 3:00 and still waiting, it’s been an hour and counting, apparently they have one single person doing blood work and no help. My daughter has been fasting so she’s upset and cranky, this is the worst service I have seen. DONT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT HERE, go somewhere else. Just terrible

One of the lady’s at the front was totally sassy. In addition to the «warm» welcome, got here for my appointment at 2:15 and had to wait twenty five minutes. Multiple people came in after me and got to go first? Seriously, what’s the point of making an appointment. It wouldn’t have been so bad waiting if they weren’t so rude at the front desk.

In order to get in and out without waiting an awful long time you really need to make an appointment at this Quest Diagnostic location. It is actually room number 228 now rather than 227. The staff here is trying, but it is easy to tell from the patients in the waiting room that efficiency may not always be their strong point, or there are a lot of patient issues. A good thing I made my appointment cause I was in and out of there within 20 minutes. Would I come back here next time? Yes, because it is conveniently close, lots of parking, and I’ll make an appointment and make sure they call me within reasonable minutes!

Don’t bother making an appointment here. Made an appointment for routine blood draw. Got here on time. Checked yes under appointment box. They went down the list and called all the walk-​ins that came in before me. Waited 40 minutes. What is the point of making appointments.

I’ve had to do a few blood draws this year and I am a big wimp when it comes to needles. REALLY BIG. But, I have had to overcome it with this last year. I’ve tried all sorts of places. I use to just use my personal physician because most places have trouble locating the right spot. So if my doctor can’t find it, he’ll go in through the wrist. The last time, it wasn’t so good … I think with his old age he may be slipping. So I’ve been hopping around from one place to the next to find the best spot. I think this one will be my «go-​to». Super clean, very bright inside. I went in around 11 or so with no appointment and they quickly found me in their records … sat me down … got what they needed and I was out. There were several technicians all waiting around … so imagine that rest of the day would be a breeze for any parties after me.
The reason I went there was because my husband had smashed his finger in softball the night before. He was all purple, blue and throbbing … so we went to the Urgent Care near by. I was going to get the blood drawn there but they told me that they were concerned with the order request my doctor wrote and didn’t want to make a mistake. So I told them I’d just walk myself across the street to Quest. I was in and out and back at Urgent Care will still plenty of wait time for my husband to finish his check up with Urgent Care …
… so yes, I will probably need another blood draw in a week … and I will probably find myself here again …
… oh and people scared about needles like me? I’ve been at a place where they stuck me four times before they were able to get a successful amount at a time. I won’t like to you, this place uses bigger needles than I am use to … but by the time you want to say «ow» from the pinch … it’s over …

Been to several labs for routine blood draws during both my pregnancies and have been to this one in the past and it was fine. But I went on Friday and it was the worst experience of getting my blood drawn I’ve ever had. Made an appointment, but still waited 15+ minutes and the lady who drew my blood did it so fast (pulled the needle out at 100 mph) and harsh that I ended up extremely sore the rest of the day, almost unable to use my left arm and am now completely bruised. Will not be returning to this lab!

Friendly and efficient. Since I am a hard stick who requires regular blood draws and other procedures; it is worth it to me to drive 3 hours (RT) to be serviced at this address… by-​passing many closer Quest locations.

Wait times are REALLY long even with apt. Nice location; clean. However, the wait times are absurd, really, absurd. Also, there are some VERY strange individuals in the waiting room. I actually saw an abusive husband begin to attempt to abuse his young son and wife. No one did anything, so I reported him to the front desk and then watch him (blatantly) until he put his head down and didn’t speak anymore. Not appropriate and the police should have been phoned

I go there with an appointment and I still gotta wait almost an 1 and 30 mins. When a vietnamese lady finally call me in to get my blood sample. she was not in a mood and when she insert the needle for blood withdrawal… she didn’t wait to see the actually veins is and insert with not going straight in but move the needle to a turn and it really hurted!!! I have blood work many times and this by far not right feeling… Then she had to collect urine sample from me and told me after I’m done I bring it to her directly not in box where they can receive it in the other room. I swear that was odd. and I was not satisfied at all. They should wear name tags so I could make a direct complaint.

They still called a few people on the «walk in» list, then after another 10 mins or so, one worker finally decided to check the list for «people with appointment «, and took me in for blood work.

Don’t even bother setting up an appointment. The lady who was checking people in was rude. I informed her I had an appointment after she told me to have a seat. She blew me off. My appointment was set for 4:00PM. I left work a little early to get there before 4. I signed in at 3:55PM. Every single person (4 clients) before me, were walk ins. At 4:45PM a tech finally looked at the log and called me back. «Oh you had an appointment? Sorry for the wait.» I left there at 4:51PM. 51mins for a simple lab draw is ridiculous. Too bad this place is right around the corner from my house.

I made an appointment for 12:15, got there at 12:09, signed in and noticed persons on list ahead of my name had no appointments. They have a sign in office that states that anyone with appointments get priority over walk-​ins. NOT TRUE !!! They called others before me that were walk-​ins, staff did not even look at list until 12:20 and then called me. Lesson learned: WASTE OF TIME MAKING APPOINTMENT !!!

Well, I have been coming here to get blood drawn ever since I started having a couple of health scares and problems. This is a brand new office and they just moved from across the hall, so everything is all new. It looks way better than the old office. The staff is friendly and usually dont have to wait long.
Most of the ladies that have taken my blood have done a great job, especially cause I hate getting it done. There has only been one lady that really messed up my arm when she drew blood, but it was because she moved the needle back and forth when it was already in! I wont have her draw it again! Dont ever let anyone move the needle once it is in! My arm hurt for days, and the bruise was there for a week!
But other than that one time every visit has been great.
