We accidentally purchased the wrong dryer from them and cancelled the order before it even shipped, but they are still charging us the $ 239 shipping fee. What a horrible company! No wonder they are doing so horribly. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Quan was amazing with my purchase and when I needed to exchange my Fridge (at no fault of his) he went above and beyond to assist — He truly cares about customer satisfaction and I will buy the rest of my appliances from him in the future. He has earned a customer for life. Thank you!

My man Sean was excellent helped me get all new appliances for my home! Gave me a list of options, it was cheaper for me in total to get everything here! I would recommend.

Wish I could give negative stars. Just got out of this location and, as of this writing, walked out $ 200 poorer with nothing to show for it. My wife and I walked in and were hoping to make a quick trip in to buy a microwave/​hood. We basically knew what we wanted, so it should have been a snap. Unfortunately, the salesman ran our debit card during what turned out to be a systems update (looking at previous reviews, it looks like their systems have been out of whack for at least a month now). Because of the update, the register did not record our transaction, but the merchant services terminal took the money out of our account (not «pending», but paid). The salesman asked us to call our bank to void the transaction, but being that today is a bank holiday, that option was unavailable to us. Because of this, the salesman was stymied as to how to proceed. We were not going to walk out without the microwave, a receipt, or some sort of written acknowledgement of what had transpired. While he was calling for an answer, I called the Sears «Customer Solutions» number. The first person I spoke to, told me there was nothing he could do, then he hung up on me. When I called a second time, the rep spoke to the salesman, when he was done, he asked her to explain to me what was going on. He then handed me the phone saying, «she hung up». We then asked the salesman, Stephen, to get ahold of a district manager. After a period of time, the DM called back. Before handing me the phone, the salesman characterized us as «causing a scene». When we protested his description, he shushed us and said, «I’m getting things done!». Besides, how would you feel after having $ 200 taken out of your account, no answer as to what to do next, and been hung up on twice by «customer solutions»? The DM, gave me some BS about the money not actually being taken from our account, just «Pending». I worked in merchant services and know that a debit transaction is taken immediately. He finally authorized the salesperson to write us a letter detailing what had transpired. The issue has yet to be resolved. To be continued…
Update: had to call my bank this morning and go through the dispute process, as the money had already been taken from our account, even though the salesman and district manager assured us that no money had «really» been taken out, and would not, once the computer realized that there was no sale attached to the money taken out.
Further update: Went into the store to confirm that there was no record of transaction. Store manager wrote an addendum to the paperwork given to me yesterday, confirming it. I spoke with the store manager about «customer solutions» and their hang-​ups. He told me that they were notorious, not only for hanging up on customers, but employees also. Guess what? I have audio and video tape of them saying so.

Bought all new kitchen appliances May of 2015. The refrigerator delivery guys damaged my oak stairs… gauges. Noticed it after I signed the computerized receipt for delivery. The guy told me he would report and damage and it would be taken care of. This never happened. I called the store and Deborah gave me a number to call, as apparently I had to file the claim. Went through this nightmare process for 2 months. Never once received a return phone call.
I called every 3 – 4 days with the same result. Finally Deborah advised me my claim had been denied, and I was never notified. WHY??? Because I had signed the receipt for delivery, which apparently also included damage. Basically gave up my right to claim damage.
Called several different numbers… refiled another claim, or so I thought, but again never received a return call from any of the people. In my opinion they just blew me off.
Although the sales people were nice, the sears customer service dept. is hugely disappointing. I finally gave up my mission. Just wanted justice. Be careful what you sign and make sure you check for damage, etc BEFORE signing a thing.
Would think twice before using sears again!!!

I bought a Samsung washer and dryer from this location. Upon entering the store we were greeted by Deborah as she started showing us around I informed her that we just wanted to look and I would come get her if we had any questions she was very nice and went back to her desk. Upon making a decision on the washer/​dryer set I let her know we were ready to check out and she was eager to help but the process seemed very long she apologized and let us know they just had a system upgrade which was making everything slow. She informed us about a promotion being offered two options free delivery and hookup or 0% interest we decided to get free delivery and hookup. Deborah then up sold us on steel braided hoses and new dryer exhaust and anything else that was needed for hookup because according to her these items were absolutely necessary!
Delivery was scheduled for that weekend and we were told they’d call before deliver which didn’t happen. The delivery was very quick and we tipped each guy $ 20.00 for the speedy service not realizing they used all the old hoses and they installed the exhaust hose very poorly. I noticed the next day laundry room was damp and the exhaust hose had come off the dryer because of the sloppy installation.
I called Deborah immediately to let her know what had happened and she was very apologetic because their delivery guys forgot the hoses at the warehouse so she sent them back out however, we got some different delivery guys who didn’t know anything about the hoses and thought they were just there to install the appliances again forgetting the hoses which we paid for. Long story short, we never got the hoses they wasted two days of our time waiting for the delivery guys and the store manager would not return our call so this dispute is still going and we had to call the credit card company to dispute these hoses. Needless to say I am not happy with my experience and lack of attention to detail. I recommend the Samsung washer and dryer but don’t buy them at this location as it will turn into a cluster F.

Friendly helpful staff. Ravin was quick to greet me at the door and answered all of my questions and was very helpful in helping me select the microwave that I felt would service my needs. I like shopping here because it is not in a busy sopping center and parking is right outside.

I was in charge of buying appliances for a home remodeling multi unit project, and had met the manager of this store on a visit while pricing what was needed. He went out of his way to answer any questions, arrange for delivery and address any concerns I had. The only reason I did not give a five star rating had more to do with the way Sears online advertised which was a bit misleading, and had nothing to do with the help I got from Quan who is the manager. They are lucky to have him there working and representing the Sears brand.

This sears location is pretty slow, but the customer service is very welcoming.
First of all, I went here to buy a washing & dryer set from Quan Nguyen. He gave my mother and I a great customer service, and provided us a lot of information.
My mom couldn’t understand English that well, so it was nice knowing he could speak Vietnamese to my mother. He didn’t high jack us with high prices like other home appliances. When we went to home depot, and best buys, most of the sales associates were rude and helpless.
The experience here was long but Quan was very patient with us, and didn’t hesitate to help us at all. After a few months in, we decided to buy a dish washer because we just moved into a new home. We called in for Quan to help us with the problem.
Customer service is everything. I am now a loyal customer here at Sears.

Wanted to look at ranges today. The store posted it opens at 11 am Sunday’s. It’s now 11:12 am and no one is in the store or opening up. I counted five potential customers they lost.

I will never buy anything from this place again, I purchased a hanging microwave with a fan. I used a vacation day to be home for the installers to install the microwave and they cancelled the appointment because the
Installer checked the microwave at the store and realized the item was broken and a piece was missing. Problem was that nobody from the installers or Sears made an effort to let me know they were not coming, sat around the house for no reason. I would give minus stars if I could to both companies involved.

Do you dread appliance shopping because it’s so time consuming? Do you hate having so many options and having the sales guy push you go to pay «only another extra $ 100» to get the next better item? Do you hate sales people that are just out to get your money? Do you hate driving store to store and all over town from Lowe’s to Home depot to find the best pricing possible? Well guess, what? I DO TOO, but I’m so glad I found out about Sears Home Town!
They make it sooo easy to appliance shop and the showroom isn’t super huge, but big enough to carry lots of items that are new and the layout is easy to browse. They sell everything from refrigerators to ovens, microwaves, stoves, and mattresses. My bf and I were shopping online and all over the place to find a fridge. I’m so glad he suggested that we just randomly drop in this location since it was close to his house. What a hidden gem!
For those of you that don’t know, this is SEARS HOME TOWN which is different than the regular sears at Westminster Mall and South Coast. I didn’t even know there as a difference until the employee told me. We were helped by seriously the best salesperson ever, Deborah Hill. If you get helped by her, you’re VERY lucky. She was really friendly and professional, not pushy at all and her goal is to make customers happy, not for her to make extra $ You can tell by her personality and kindness, she treats you like family and is sort of like grandma. We literally came back and forth for days because I was indecisive about what color, etc, but she was patient. She knew all the tricks in the books to get me the best deal on my Kenmore Elite Stainless Steel Fridge. It was priced at over 1700 I got it for almost half the price!
Another plus is that Deborah wasn’t pushy at all about purchasing the extra warranty or anything. She even stayed past closing a lot of the time to discuss everything thoroughly with us and never rushed. The difference between Sears Hometown and regular Sears is that Hometown is more like a family oriented division of Sears. My fridge was delivered brand new and the guys that installed it, made it fast and easy.
The sales here are pretty discreet and ARE different than Sears online as well as the regular Sears since they are a different division. I WILL be back to buy more appliances form here!

If I could give 0 stars I would! We bought a washer and dryer and the first time I tried to use it, the washer doesn’t spin at all. That left me with dirty, soaking wet clothes. Called over and over only to be put on hold and hung up on repeatedly. A week, and 5 hours on hold later they finally say they will schedule me an appointment for a replacement to be delivered on Friday. Friday rolls around, still no call to tell me what time they will be here. So I called 4 times before I could actually talk to someone without getting hung up on again and they tell me «there’s nothing scheduled for you». Are you kidding me??? We are supposed to get our money back in 7 – 10 business days. Not counting on it though. Absolutely ridiculous! I am so frustrated and will never buy anything from them again!

We did our research online on the washer and dryer we wanted before going into the store. We figured they would have a better deal in store but they didn’t, they actually charge $ 10 extra for delivery in store than the delivery price online. The sales person didn’t know anything about the brand we wanted or the prices, he looked them up online on the exact same website we used. I had to tell him the difference in the 2 models we were looking at. It was a waste of time, we could have just ordered them online with $ 10 savings on delivery from our couch. On top of that, one salesperson was studying for their math final while on the sales floor, not very professional.
