Don’t review places often, but I found Dr. Khan to be exceptionally amicable, comforting, and professional. It’s easy to see he is great at what he does and loves doing it! Would definitely recommend smiles café to anyone!

Dr Khan Is a very honest and straightforward doctor when it comes to what you will need to get done procedure-​wise. He looks out for your interests and doesn’t try to get you to do unnecessary procedures just so he can send the bill to your insurance. He is very understanding and will let you get the work done when you feel ready to come in. He doesn’t just bombard you all at once. He is very professional and good at what he does and will only advise you but never dictate you on what do get done and when. He will also help weigh out the pros and cons of each procedure and give you a professional opinion if it is needed or not and how urgent it would be.
Hai staff is also very professional and he office is very nicely set up with a really nice ambience and atmosphere. Location isn’t too hard to find and it’s actually walking distance from the nearest beach. I drove down from the Inland Empire because he is that good. I’d recommend him to all that need a nice, professional, and patient dentist.

I was referred by a great friend of mine that told me that this dental office is absolutely amazing, I am not a fan of the dentist but I gave it a shot. This place is nice and clean, the staff is fantastic, and Dr Khan does a great work, I will definitely recommend my family and friends to come to this dental office. We moved to California two years ago and have tried out four different dentists. I’m so relieved to know that we finally found our forever dentist! Dr Kahn is amazing. He’s kind, compassionate, extremely knowledgable & listens carefully to any concerns you have. He’s great with kids. My kids even asked if he could be our only dentist from now on! He does not try to push treatments or procedures. I feel confident putting my family’s dental health in his hands.

As someone who has visited many dentists, it’s hard to find an honest one who truly puts the patient before the dollar.
At Smiles Café Dentistry, I can say with full confidence that Dr. Tahir Khan is the one Dentist who I felt was actually trying to help me rather than just make a buck. He was very compassionate about helping me and gave me his honest feedback as to what my options were.
Dr. Khan and his staff were professional, courteous, and made me very comfortable before stating my procedue. I felt zero pain or discomfort and in the end, I felt much better.

Unbelievable!!! Hand down this is the best dental clinic you can ever go to! Beyond wonderful service and very professional welcoming staff and they do all the necessary X-​rays and diagnosis you need. Dr. Khan is very personable and a humble gentleman. He personally called me to greet me and welcome me to his clinic, which I found very courteous of him.
The clinic is located in Downtown Huntington Beach, super nice, beautiful décor, clean and well maintained. It has wifi, magazines, and refreshments.

One of the best dentist experiences of my life. I’m a really anxious patient and I’ve had a lot of bad experiences so I’m a bit traumatized to begin with. I had a stained tooth that was starting to make me self-​conscious. I’m a grad student and can’t afford a veneer right now so I was just going in to see what options I had. I walked out an hour later with my tooth fixed. It’s a composite filling which I know won’t last forever but it looks 100% better and exactly what I needed right now. Dr. Khan is just incredible. He’s personable and straightforward and he actually quoted me the price himself! (which was really reasonable). I hate it when the dentist acts like they don’t know how much the procedure costs and brings in the office manager to negotiate price. I will definitely be coming back.

I lucked out. I had an appointment with the dentist next door but that dentist office was closed when I showed up. I was kinda pissed but a very polite gentleman offered me to sit in his office while I was standing outside the other dentist office. WOW, I was impressed by this kindness. I came home and decided that I will switch my dentist. I called Smiles Café Dentistry and that gentleman was Dr Khan. He genuinely care for his patients. He took care of my teeth deep cleaning and he was extremely thorough. I am glad I found my dentist for life. Great experience. Opened on Saturday. Huge plus.

I avoided going to the dentist for 5 or 6 years. The combination of being a general wussy, low tolerance for pain and discomfort and drilling sounds, and an over-​active imagination envisioning the worst led me astray from routine cleanings.
I mean, you’ve seen that horror movie The Dentist, right? Worst nightmare. No, wait, that would be a clown AS a dentist.
Last time I went to a dentist, I actually went to three different dentists. I was shopping around and each dentist gave me a different diagnosis, all with terrible outcomes. Cavities! Surgeries! Ah!
They were like car salesmen, but armed with drills. Terrifying.
Despite those dental misadventures, I didn’t go through 3 ½ years of braces and wisdom teeth extractions to watch my pearly whites crumble and die. The crippling fear of getting big time dental procedures done because of my own neglect started to take hold. Time to nut up, face the music, and nip any problems in the bud before my mouth devolves into an animal-​like hot mess.
So with shaky knees and a quivering voice, my wife and I scheduled a check-​up with Dr. Khan. We told him all about our previous experiences and why we succumbed to fear. But he quickly put us at ease. There would be no Wrath of Dr. Khan.
He, too, shares in the frustration that many people avoid the dentist because of their poor business practices. They say I have a cavity, but how do I know? Well, Dr. Khan’s best method to combat such tactics is to SHOW you.
That’s right, the man hands you a mirror, and points right at any problem areas, explaining in detail what we are looking at and what needs to be done.
Now, I knew I was going to have one problem: plaque build up. Yeah, those evil creatures that you see delightfully animated in toothpaste commercials are real. And they were building up heavily under a wire I’ve had behind my front bottom teeth since I got my braces removed.
I’m not gonna lie, it was a disgusting cesspool back there. I was mortified and embarrassed at the build up, and feared that Dr. Khan would need industrial grade construction equipment to it chisel away. Instead, he recommended deep cleaning. 15 minutes later, it was like looking at a rusty car that had been miraculously refurbished, good as new. I had forgotten what my teeth even looked like back there! Hello, old friend.
My wife also needed some work. She had three minor cavities, and was petrified of getting them filled. But Dr. Khan over here, Mr. Smooth Operator, with his deft touch and superb precision, was able to quickly and easily eliminate the cavities WITHOUT using an anesthetic.
We were seriously impressed. No pain, no discomfort.
But the best part is his bedside manner. We spent longer than expected at our appointment, but only because Dr. Khan thoroughly and meticulously goes over every detail, inspects every tooth, and walks you through his entire thought process. This isn’t an in-​and-​out rush job that other dentists perform to get your money and get outta town. He seems to genuinely care about his patients and their overall health.
I never thought I would write a 5-​star review of a dentist, but Dr. Khan is most deserving, and by far the best dentist my wife and I have ever been to. My fears are now gone. Except that of a clown dentist… still horrifying.

Dr explained thoroughly the situation and was very patient and caring. Will be back in six months for next checkup.
Atmosphere is peaceful and calm which helps as I’m not crazy about going to the dentist.

Dr. Khan and his staff are fantastic. The visit is quite enjoyable instead of being the typical dreaded experience. Disclaimer– I am a physician so yes I am picky – and my dad is a retired dentist, mom a retired dental hygienist. Smile Café is clean! The staff are friendly and accommodating. It’s very easy to make an appointment and the hours are great for working people. I found Dr. Khan to be professional, very honest, well trained and knowledgeable. Parking was easy even though it is downtown.

Who enjoys going to the dentist? Not me that’s for sure. However…
Dr Khan is amazing. He does great work, good prices and did I mention he’s amazing. Very attentive and understanding.
First saw Dr Khan at a different office was happy to see he had his own place now. A little far from me but definitely worth the drive.

Hands down the best dentist iv been to by far. Dr Tahir is awesome. Him and his staff are extremely profession and understanding. They saved me a ton of dental work and money, helping me avoid unnecessary dental procedures that my previous dentist recommended to bill my insurance. He is extremely honest and straight forward.
The work he did was pain free and hastle free. I now look forward to taking care of my teeth and revisiting his office thanks to him. Dr Tahir is truly a dentist that cares for his patients.
As a cherry on top his office is right next to the beach so iv made a tradition of scheduling a beach day after my dental visits.
I now send all my family to him because I know they will be cares for. 5 SOLID STARS

after getting quoted a huge amount from another dentist suggesting I need a lot of work done and I had to pay a lot of money. I am so happy I came to smile café because Dr Tahir was really reasonable and much more conservative with what he suggested for my needs. My favorite part about Dr. Tahir was he followed up with me almost everyday on text to make sure that everything was going good, that I was taking My medicine and his advise to make sure that I took care of my teeth. He is the best in the business. My family friends co worker all come to him. I will be coming to his office my whole life. :)

I’m hyperventilating, I’m suffocating, I can’t breathe … Don’t tell me I’m the only one who feels that way when your mouth is pried open with hands, foreign objects, water, air and what seems like a whole lot of other things in it, blocking your passage way. I then hear a kind, soothing voice tell me … «Breathe through your nose.» Brilliant!!! And when he tells his assistant «suction.» … Aaah, music to my ears, I can swallow and breathe freely again!
I go through dentists easily, there are a ton of them out there and I won’t settle for just anyone. Dr. Khan is cool, comforting, honest, knows his stuff and has a good sense of humor. The fact that he responded right away to my appointment request was a plus and text follow-​ups there after was even more of an added convenience! I’ll be back to see him for my next check-​up/​cleaning in 6 months.
And no, doc, I wasn’t taking selfies as I was lying on the chair with my phone raised high above me! I was drafting my review … ;)

I had a great experience at Dr Khan“s dental office. He is the best dentist I have ever met. The office ambiance is awesome and so is the staff–
I was greeted with a warm smile by Sandra and Jessica. There was zero wait time literally. I was a little nervous in the beginning but Dr Khan demeanor really calmed me down. He is very Jolly and easy going and young dentist so extremely easy to understand. he explain everything in detail before doing any procedure. I had deep cleaning done and the experience was extremely pleasant.

Ecstatic!!! I am extremely pleased with my recent experience at this dental office. I got my front tooth filling done somewhere else and I was not happy with my filling to the point that I was becoming self conscious cz it was the front tooth and every time I would smile everyone could see it’
I found Dr Khan through a mutual friend and he was very friendly and easy going! I did my research online before going to him and all I found was 5 stars reviews everywhere! I called there office and made an appointment .
Dr Khan and his staff were very considerate in scheduling! I made an appointment for Saturday cz I work rest of the days! So that was very convenient.
The day of the appointment I was told about the whole procedure and the instructions were given before hand! Dr Khan took great care of my front filling, he also did my teeth cleaning «deep» and .zoom teeth whitening the same day!!! I left their dental office with a beautiful smile and very happy with my experience!
The most important quality which I found was his and his staff“s Honesty! I knew exactly how much my insurance will pay! What to expect and they did everything to calm me down cz I was still nervous!

I met Dr. T during a Health Fair that was being held in Chino CA. All the screenings were free, and when I swung by his booth he greeted me with a smile. I sat down and after a thorough assessment, Dr. T recommended I go for a deep cleaning as there were some gum recessions occurring on the inside of my bottom row teeth. I asked for his business card and I scheduled an appointment at his office in HB. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The deep cleaning session took some time, but I could tell Dr. T’s staff was making sure to not rush through anything. They diligently worked and kept me informed on what they were doing as they were doing it.
I had an overall wonderful experience. I’m waiting on scheduling a follow up teeth whiting appointment!
