Love my trainer Rick. He’s kicking my butt to get me ready for my wedding. I also like that the yoga classes are included in the membership, it’s a perfect counter to my muscle building workouts. Adrian also has a bootcamp Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights at 5:30.

The perfect gym. Clean facilities and equipment, polite staff, good clientele. Swimming pool, racquetball courts, workout equipment on two floors. Personal training is reasonably priced and effective. No more calipers checking how much back fat you have! No more weigh-in’s! The trainers know you are working for your health and to increase your fitness and you have nothing to prove to anyone else.

I like this gym. Perfect spot. Kind of secluded. I was referred here by a friend and was so surprised.
I needed some personal training in my life and met Franny.
OMG. She is amazing.
Things I love about her:
–She’s patient and doesn’t yell at you.
— Don’t let her size fool you. She kicked my ass the first day and I couldn’t sit for two!
— She doesn’t make you feel stupid.
— She knows her shit!
— She always surprises me with a new workout so I’m not bored. (And I drive all the way here just to train with her from San Pedro!)
–Provides great nutrition plans and recipes.
— And most of all she believes in me when I feel I don’t.
— P.S. She’s sweet and gorgeous!
If you feel like you need a trainer don’t look any further. Come and see Franny and be prepared for a new change in your life.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is tired of the dealing with the crowds and dirty locations like 24 hour and LA fitness etc theres nothing like this facility in Huntington Beach.
The trainers there offer lots of different classes and are very helpful, to all the members not just there specific clients.

I am not usually a fan of most gym’s as they are typically overcrowded and overpriced. South Coast Athletic is a great gym. It is rarely crowded and everyone that works out there is very nice and friendly. The membership cost is not very high at all and I also workout with a trainer there (healthstrongfitness) who is excellent! I highly recommend this gym.

Right next door to my work, and a free gym membership compliments of my job… but thats not the only reason this place is getting 4 stars.
They are very clean, very friendly, and have more perks than most gyms. They have 2 racquetball courts, a pool table, shuffle board, saunas, plenty of bike and fitness classes, and a pool outside. Not to mention regular weights and machines for use.
This place is hardly ever busy and I have never waited for a machine of any kind.
I have seen signs that they offer day care but I don’t know the pricing or the times they operate child care.
I don’t know the pricing of memberships, because as I said, I am spoiled by my work.

FABULOUS GYM!
The people here are great. The Employees, trainers, owners, members… all the way around wonderful people. Much different experience than the typical gym. No sign up fees or crazy contracts, to waiting for machines, easy parking and genuine people. Nice locker rooms, full bar:), pilates, yoga, SPIN!, and all the amenities you look for!
