William Wippler, DDS, APC

Just had an amazing first experience with Dr. Wippler! I am 21 years old. I had been going next door to Dr. Chu’s (a dentist for kids) for all these years and decided to finally switch over to an adult dentist.
Dr. Wippler really takes his time to genuinely get to know you. He will also tell you in detail about your x-​rays such as what the gray and white areas of the x-​rays signify, where the flossing cavities are, etc.
He also taught me how to properly floss in detail by giving me a mirror while he flossed my teeth. You must be aggressive when flossing and you must move the floss back and forth. By doing this, the gums will get used to it and eventually the flossing will be like a massage for your teeth.
Now, I had Leslie as my dental hygienist. It did hurt a lot when she cleaned my teeth but that’s because I don’t floss regularly and adult dentists offices clean more vigorously.
Also, she’s really nice and takes the time to answer your questions.
She told me how most children’s dental offices only have dental assistants, not hygienists. Therefore when the dental assistants work on your teeth, they aren’t allowed to go below the gum line. They won’t be able to REALLY get in there.
And when you become around 14 to 16 years old, tartar starts to build up. But because the assistants aren’t allowed to clean too deep, they won’t be able to get to that tartar.
So if you’re like me and wait until you’re 21 to switch to an adult dentist, (assuming that the children’s dental office does not have a hygienist) you’ve already got a lot of tartar and general plaque etc. built up.
Therefore, it will hurt really really bad the first time you go to an adult dentist. …Especially if you don’t floss regularly.
Lastly, I am quite a shy and reserved person, but they make you feel welcomed and want to ask questions!

Amazing and honest dentist which is a rare treasure based on my bad past experiences. My husband has been coming here for years and puts a lot of trust and faith in Dr. Wippler and his office. I finally decided to try this dentist out after a very disappointing experience with another dentist. Wow… what a difference! The other dentist was trying to sell me on thousands of dollars worth of dental procedure and at this office, I was told my teeth are fine and I only needed a basic cleaning. Also, the dental hygienist at this office, Anh, was so meticulous and thorough when cleaning my teeth which is a dramatic and refreshing change from what I received from the other dentist. I trust this dentist and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.

Dr. Whippler and his staff are professional and they have the BEST chair side manner. From the time you walk in the door you feel like you are with friends. I would recommend his office to everyone!

My first office visit was a routine check up where Dr. Wippler took x-​rays of my teeth and explained in detail some of the problems he saw that I had. I had my first procedure which was a porcelain crown replaced. Dr. Wippler did an outstanding job and even showed me the proper way to floss! No upselling of ridiculous «Arestin Deep Cleanings»! His Office Staff is extremely helpful and very organized! If you’re looking for an excellent, honest Dentist, then I like to highly recommend Dr. William Wippler!

Dr. Whippler is truly an amazing Dentist. (My parents and I are current patients).
My son has had several bad experiences with Dentists in the past which has left him with serious anxiety and fear to even step into a dental office. After sharing the positive experiences that both my parents and I have had with Dr. Whippler my son agreed to go in. Dr. Whippler took the time to talk with my son, to get to know him and talk about a treatment plan that would work for him. All I have to say is WOW. My son actually walked out of the office today talking about how well his experience was with Dr. Whippler and though he is still nervous he is confident that he has found a dentist that he can trust.

Dr. Wippler has been my dentist for over 10 years. I tried a few in Orange County when I first moved here and wasn’t happy at all until I found this office. Even when I moved out of the country for a few years, I made sure that I had any dental work done by Dr. Wippler when I was back for a visit.
I am very picky when it comes to dentists and Dr Wippler is very kind and exceeds my expectations every time. I recommend him to anyone who asks!

Dr. Whippler and his staff are awesome, I have been going to this location even prior to him taking over the practice and I have always received excellent care. He makes sure that I have minimal pain for all procedures and makes sure I understand what needs to be done.
