By all means avoid ordering pancakes at this place! I’ve been here 4 times and it was my first time ordering pancakes at this place because I was craving IHOP pancakes. My husband always complained about the pancake batter tasting different and dry compared to other locations.(We are long time IHOP patrons at other places). The times we came it was lonely and no wait… pancakes were dry and not good. Yesterday on a Saturday we came and it was full house. Got a 20 minute wait estimate and it turned to 45 minutes for a group of 4!!! My husband got himself a steak omelet w/side of pancakes, kids got silver 5, and I ordered the cheesecake strawberry pancakes. The kids spit out their pancakes and I thought they were not hungry. I was half way into my pancakes trying to figure out if they are suppose to taste creamy because of the cheesecake flavor. Until my husband got to his stack, turns out all of the pancakes were not even cooked through!!! Really you guys??? What a waste of $ 50!!! I’m taking my business somewhere else. I hope management does something about this it’s giving the rest of the IHOP chains a bad name.

I go to IHOP for their Swedish Crepes and for some reason this place just can’t get them right; been here a few times and every time I order them I am a bit disappointed. Service is OK, nothing much to brag about but overall decent. Pretty clean and plenty of parking.

This is a spot we usually come as a group from work for breakfast. We usually get here before the rush, so wait time is pretty minimal, but come 8−9am, it gets busy! It’s like… Don’t people work!!! Lol. Anyways… Service is decent, not over the top or exceptional, just decent… The food is good, regular IHOP food. I always get waffles when I come to IHOP or Norms, and if you go wrong with waffles, there is a major major problem, lol! Thankfully neither IHOP or Norms has done me wrong with waffles yet. Overall it’s a good place to go have breakfast… Nothing bad nothing exceptional… Hence the 3 stars.

Worst ihop ive been too, will not accommodate their customers. I used to come here often cause it’s the closest thing to breakfast in my neighborhood but I’d rather drive farther to get better customer service.

Bad service they don’t look your way no smile. They look miserable here. The waiter gave me an attitude and my apple juice tastes like Sprite and apple juice. Horrible servers they need a new team. They don’t speak English much. So many people who need a job and all these people act like it sucks to be here. my food was ehhhhhhh kinda under cooked. I don’t ever want to come back here if they don’t fix their service.

Went in around noon, we were seated as soon as we walked in. Waitress was polite and our food was brought out quick.

We come here a lot. But this time the service was horrendous. I understand that it’s full but how do you forget to take an order when you’re sitting there for more than 15 minutes with no beverages or food. I love ihop but I wouldn’t waste my time in this location.

This was the worst service I have ever experienced. We were a party of three and we were immediately seated. After searching for the waitress for ten minutes, we see the waitress just staring at us for at least 5 minutes. I had to make eye contact with her for her to come over and the first thing out of her mouth is «are you ready to order?» No introduction, she didn’t even ask if we wanted drinks, we had to ask for those. She was rude and I honestly will never come to this place again! And from the looks of it, this place has crappy service all around.

Service was very slow and the pancakes aren’t the best. I honestly recommended Norms pancakes anytime over these. Also, if you get the strawberry cheesecake pancakes, turn them around, you will find two small Cubs pieces of cheesecake in the center of the pancake. The rest is just buttermilk batter. And it’s very pricy, expect to spend $ 30 for a breakfast for two rather than like $ 15 for a even heartier breakfast for two at norms. No free refills on hot chocolate like at other places.

So for many years we were patrons at this Ihop but the service started to deteriorate. We had not walked into this place for over a year even though it’s less than a mile from home. Today at about 8am we decided to have them another chance. We had a fairly large group of 8. We asked to be seated and another group and was seated as we waited in the lobby. Mistake #1. When they say is they added 2 chairs to a six person table. We asked if we could be seated at the next table over(2 feet from where we were being seated) which was large enough to hold exactly 8 people. The hostess said no because there wasn’t someone assigned that area. We were phased by that and asked if it couldn’t be communicated to the server that we were their party and we were told«no» if I seat you there you’ll sit there because no one will help you… #2. They gave us 8 adult menus seeing that 4 were kids under 8…#3. The server finally came over about 5 mins later and asked if we wanted to order drinks. I asked for kids menus first and with much attitude she turned and left. That’s when we got up and left. Very bad service all the way around. The owner was there and was nonchalant about it all. I like keeping my sanity. We’ll keep driving to the IHOP in Bell Gardens and enjoy our meals in peace.

Ok so I know this isn’t cheesecake factory or what not but I’ve got better service at a Mc Donalds than I did here! Wait was ok they told us 20 we waited about 30 so typical restaurant wait but once we were seated our waitress Melissa burned my mom with really hot coffee when she spilled on her. My mom obviously got burned by it and the girl didn’t even bother to say sorry. She rolls her eyes up and says«ok you ready to order?» SERIOUSLY?! At least introduce yourself to us since you haven’t said anything since we sat down. Not even an I’m sorry? To be honest my breakfast was pretty ruined by her. At least the food was ok, didn’t have to wait too long for it. All I’m saying is Melissa if you don’t like your job and are gonna give everyone attitude then you need to rethink your job choice. No tip for you!

Went yesterday and ordered to go. When I got to the office I noticed my meal was missing a topping. I called back to report the discrepancy and the General Manager«Juan» was very accommodating to say the least. Not only did he offer for one of his employees to drop off the missing topping but he also agreed to give me a complimentary meal the following day! Food is great and the service is superb!

Good place to eat came with the family got great service gave it 4 stars, this is because I ordered coffee and it was cold I should ‘ve just ordered an ice coffee. Other than that it was delicious will definitely come back if I’m in the area.

My favorite spot for breakfast! The manager is really nice and so are the workers. The wait time is usually long but it is worth it.

If I could give zero stars I would! To start off this place is super dirty like extremely dirty. that should’ve been the first sign for me to run away. however I didnt. I ordered a turkey meal. The turkey was not cooked well the potatoes felt hard of the veggies were soggy. I didn’t even end up eating it. The restroom was super nasty they have a switch to turn on so you can notify the staff that It needed to be clean. I switched it on. Hopefully they went and cleaned it gross place. I will never be back!

Before I begin my review, it’s an IHOP. Not the Four Seasons or St. Regis. This place is way overpopulated and that’s just how it is because there’s hardly any good breakfast spots in HP. If you think about it just Norms, IHOP, and your local Tam’s. Tam’s is probably the best choice in my opinion. This city needs more mom and pop diner spots. I’ve been here twice. The food is the same. The service is atrocious. Waiting to get your order taken is long. The tables aren’t always the cleanest. Most times all the management cares about is stuffing more people. Our waiter was bussing and taking orders. I wouldn’t ever like to come back here.

This I hope ducks to the max they have their utensils with food and they are supposedly washed, they give ice coffee with rotten milk the service is just bad the waiters don’t even take the time to serve you right, they just talk among each others and not worry if we need anything else. I don’t recommend this ihop just go to another one.
