While in his early 20s, Anthony Defranco founded the Anthony DeFranco Salon. Anthony’s approach is simple: develop systems and grow people. He consistently raises the bar by teaching new techniques. He fosters an environment where individuality and creativity flourish. Anthony’s philosophy is a happy, inspired, passionate staff is the key to creating beautiful hair and thus inspiring a loyal client base.

The Anthony Defranco Salon and Spa personnel and clients are looking forward to celebrating their 25^th anniversary in 2012. Anthony challenges himself and his staff every day to create the best possible experience for their clients while building the careers of the next generation of top colorists and stylists.

As a young boy, Anthony DeFranco’s passion for creating beautiful hair was the foundation of his spectacular career as an international leader in the salon and spa industry. The Anthony DeFranco Salon and Spa, on the north shore of Long Island, New York, stands proudly among the top 10% of salons in the world. Its work has been featured in such publications as W, Elle, Vogue and Allure.

In 1980, upon completing his training with the legendary industry innovator, Vidal Sassoon, Anthony became a National Artistic Director at Cutco Industries, overseeing over 1,000 salons in the United States.

While in his early 20s, Anthony’s founded the Anthony DeFranco Salon. Anthony’s approach is simple: develop systems and grow people. He consistently raises the bar by teaching new techniques. He fosters an environment where individuality and creativity flourish.
