Gabriela’s Party Rental

Contracted this vendor to do some drape work for a party held at a hall. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done for that day and she said it would be no problem.
The day of the event she sent her daughter and husband to do the work, one hour late and she would not answer my calls as I was frantically calling her since I only had 2 hours to set up.
Luckily I had not paid them in full as she had wanted and she had to come back and do the work correctly before I paid her.
The work she did was nothing like what I had showed her but since my event was starting in an hour, I didn’t have much time to argue with her.
Her shop is beautiful and nicely adorned, but she needs to work on fulfilling her commitments to her customers.
Overall, I was not happy with the work they did. The only reason why I didn’t give her 1 star is because her husband fixed the loose ceiling tiles for me and that was very nice of him.
If you are considering working with her, get everything in writing and call her the day before your event and remind her of the work she has to do. I called, went in person the day before, did everything I had to do as a customer and it didn’t work for me.
