Healy William A III MD

Local orthopedic Surgeon in the Huntington area. He treats basically the entire region, has a wonderful reputation. Most sports injuries by the local schools and teams are treated by Dr. Healy. He is from the area and his kids go to school here. He is very down to earth and a super Ortho!
His facility is in an older style house, and waiting room and equipment is of the older nature. Nothing here is very state of the art, they have an older X-​ray machine and four exam rooms that he shuffles to every few minutes.
Waiting times are quite significant, for example if you have a 2pm appointment, you’ll go to the waiting room at 2:30, you’ll see the doc at 3pm for a few minutes, then X-​ray for 15 minutes, the. About another 15 – 20 mins and he will see you for 5 mins.
Nothing too different in a single practice I guess.
They have a receptionist Jennifer who is friendly, down to earth and very helpful! Great personality and very humorous. Great people skills and takes the bite of waiting a bit better.
