Our drivers are friendly and courteous and will get you to your destination quickly and safely. For added convenience we now accept credit cards on rides over $ 25. Our cars are clean and smoke free, which ensures a pleasant ride. We are available 24 hours 7 days a week, so if you need a ride, give us a call!

History

Established in 2012.

We currently use Honda Accords as our choice of cars because they are durable and look nice. If needed we have a van so we can fit a whole family and their luggage for vacation purposes. For great prices and a smooth ride make sure to contact us!

Terrible service, I called for a taxi and the guy who barely spoke English said «OK, 10 mins 10 mins.» I called back 40 mins later and he sounded like he had forgot and said «I be there in 10 mins.» 20 mins later I call back and nobody answers, and it went to a voicemail box that had not been set up yet. Do not use this cab company. Worst service ever!

They were ok at first until I became a regular client. I won’t risk it again! The driver wouldn’t drive up to pick me up like all the cabs do. He was parked in the parking lot about 40 yards away and expected me to see him much less walk to him. There was plenty of space for him to pull up to pick me up which is part of what we pay for when we get a taxi. It seems they don’t care about customer service. And the owner yelled at me blaming me!!! Not good business!!!

Saw one of their drivers on the road and was scared to be near them. Driver cut off a car so bad he was within inches of hitting them. Then driver decides to cut across 3 lanes of traffic to get to a left turn lane iin rush hour traffic, almost hitting another 2 cars ib the process. Id recommend saying a prayer before getting into a vehicle with this company.

Took the service 2 times. First time ok, but took 20 min to get them to write down my address properly due to understanding English. 2nd time, a no show after I booked one day in advance. They apparently never shared the reservation with their morning driver. Missed my train and meeting while I had to wait for them to show up. Not with it.

Called On The Loose to arrange for a cab from Dix Hills to Huntington Hospital — about 15 minutes later, I received a call from OTL stating that the fare would be $ 40 and they wanted to make sure that I knew that because it was expensive. They suggested I might want to try another (larger) taxi service because their rates might be less which was true. Amazing honesty AND they didn’t hang me up by waiting until the last minute to let me know. Kudos.

I called for a taxi at 2 pm. A man with a heavy Spanish accent took my call ands he said it would be 20 – 25 minutes. After an hour of waiting I called back, cancelled them and called another taxi service. Just for a bit more info, when you call they don’t even identify themselves as a taxi service and their voice mailbox is full.

Awesome experience. Fair rates and a friendly driver. Also forgot my wallet in the cab at night and my driver drove it over himself the next morning before I realized it was missing. My driver was an unbelievable legend, definitely recommend.

At 12:30pm I called for a taxi to pick me up at 1:30pm at my home. I told them I was going to the train station for a 2pm train. The man seemed to have a hard time understanding English but he repeated my address (even the cross street) and 1:30 so I thought I was good. At 1:35 no one was there, so I called and asked how much longer. The guy acted as if it was the first time I had called! He was like, «oh, it’s going to be another 15 – 20 minutes» I told him that was ridiculous and I would find someone else. Don’t call these guys if you need to be somewhere on time.

The driver was prompt &courteous, the taxi clean and in great condition and we were not double charged for our trip. Besides being punctual and clean. The prices are fair and the drivers are very friendly and personable. I enjoy the rides and the conversations, along with saving a few bucks. It’s always a great experience and would recommend these guys for anyone looking for a cab. Being a bartender I have many customers who can’t drive after a nice night out and will be calling them for their service. Thank you.

Great taxi service with good prices. Needed a cab from the train station to a client in the Huntington area. Driver got me there quickly and on time. The ride was a total of 8 dollars, which is inexpensive for Long Island. I highly recommend them.

I live in Queens and work in the city, so I take a lot of cabs. I decided to visit friends in Long Island, but they were unable to pick me up from the train, so I decided to take a cab. I went with On The Loose taxi and could not have made a better choice. The driver was super nice, and the car was very clean. The prices were very reasonable, so that was a plus. I would definitely use their services again!
