Carter’s Babies & Kids

I’m not a kid person. Never have been, probably won’t be for awhile — if ever. So, shopping for anyone under the age of 10 isn’t really my forte. One of the angels I adopted from the Salvation Army tree asked for winter clothes, which absolutely bums me out to think there’s a cute little kid out there in need of some warm clothes. Since I was already in the area and am not an expert on anything kid related, I hit up good ol’ Carters – one of the only kids clothing stores that I’m familiar with.
The store is super clean. A lot of times outlet stores can be quite disastrous as you have the bargain hounds who ransacked all the clearance racks. That wasn’t the case and everything seemed to be where it was supposed to be. Hooray. The staff was friendly and didn’t laugh at me when I had to ask if 4T is the same as 4 kids. Eek! If you have a few extra bucks to spare, donate to their Carters Cares program where they’re donating items to kids that were a part of the Hurricane. I’m a big fan of any company that takes charity seriously!
I did notice that the prices weren’t exceptional. I actually headed to Kohl’s later and the prices were about the same BUT I did sign up for Carter’s coupons to help me save even more in the future – you know, on the rare occasion that I’m shopping for someone else’s kids. They DID have a pretty vast selection of clearance items but it was all summer items & short sleeve shirts. That wouldn’t really help out with my situation, but if I was a parent, I’d start a huge summer stock pile and count down the days till my kid could wear them!

Great clothes, great quality, great selection! This store is the place to go to stock up for babies/​toddlers! I got a 5-​pack of onesies for $ 2.99!!! Pajamas for $ 2.99, a swimsuit for $ 4.99! Shop the sales– and sign up for coupons!!! They have a great variety of sizes and options. The staff has always been friendly– if you have any questions, ask to talk to Kimmie! She has been helpful every time I’ve gone in! She always knows what to do for future sizes and different clothes that you will need! She’s also funny and great to talk to!
