Dr. Marcelo uses an eclectic modality of treatment with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy and psycho-​education. He takes a team approach with his clients and strongly believes in the value of the therapeutic relationship and empowering clients to make decisions in the treatment process. As opposed to some approaches of therapy which may take several years, Dr. Marcelo believes in the efficacy of a briefer counseling model.
