If you want a real chicago dog, or a real Italian Beef, Goodfellas is the place! Best beefs in the area, inarguably the best hot dogs — and great, friendly service! There’s pictures on the walls of old gangsters, plus Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, and Ray Liota — but the real stars here are on the menu! Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

Disgusting! Ordered a combo w/​fries
It was the worst beef and sausage I’ve ever had! I took 3 bites and left. The guy who made my food walked next door to Subway and brought back a sandwich. Enough said

Beef tasted like peppered lunch meat. They use Turano bread which isn’t one of my favorites, the crust isn’t crisp like other Italian breads. The homemade giardenera was good though and so were the french fries.
The wise guys who really know their beef sammiches wouldn’t go here a second time. There isn’t much to choose from in this ex-​burb rural area though.

Back in Chicago about a year now, stopped in after an 8 hour drive back into town this week. Very pleasantly surprised. Beef sandwiches were very tasty and juicy. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable as well.
We will definitely be back for more!!!

Wtf… prices on the menu very clear… get rung up at different prices and ask why the price difference… oh yeah, prices went up last week… hello…how about updating your pricing board before ringing up the sale!

My first time trying this place. Just moved here. Not happy with this place!!! The service was awful. The first thing that happen was the guy charged me to much. I asked for peppers on the side of a beef sandwich and no peppers on a hot dog. I got peppers on both sandwiches. Ordered fries and onion rings too. He forgot to cook the onion rings, they when in the fryer late. After that, I ask him about the fries he forgot to put in the bag. The beef sandwich was ok and my husband said the hot dog was good. The fries and onion rings very good. I think I waited for 15 minutes. It was just me and one other customer (who walk in after me and he got his order before me) in the place.

This place is great for lunch. Good deals on good food. A much better value and food choice then the usual fast food places. The blackened pork chops are excellent. Kinda hard to find since it is connected to the gas station.

Good fast food, hot, fast, and fresh just the way it should be. Not the best beef sandwich in the world, but very good. Staff is friendly and the prices are very fair, especially on their combos. If they had fresh cut fries they’d be perfect; but they usually make the fries right when you order them so at least you can count of them being hot and crispy.
