This Chilis makes my heart hurt. Not in the cholesteroly, heart-attacky way, but because it is so boring and bland. My kids love Chilis, and I’m not really one for burning a place in a review unless it’s terrible, so I gave it three stars. The service was very slow today, and no one was in the restaurant. We sat for quite a while before anyone showed up to take our drink order, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt on that one. A waiter asked if we’d been helped. When I said, «no,» he immediately got someone’s attention and took care of us. The food was okay, but not great. I had the loaded, boneless wings, but the order was wrong. They were still decent, but overall, it was a forgettable dining experience.

Just pathetic. Terrible service. Took 45 min to get crappy food. Bar tender had a terrible attitude. I usually like Chili’s, but location just plain sucks.

Overall, not too terribly bad. In this town, there are very few places to go eat and watch a game on tv. Unfortunately, the best place to do that is in the bar area which is a smoking area because Huntsville has yet to get with the program and ban smoking in restaurants. Because the bar is open seating, it’s better than waiting for a table for one or two people. The bartenders are attentive and go the extra mile. Tonight, we were unable to get a seat at the bar, so we sat at a table in the bar area. Our server, Nicole, was far from attentive. After we had finished our appetizer and were ready to order, she was not to be found. She eventually came close by, and we decided that we had better hurry up and spit out our order before she walked off. Before I could even utter that I wanted some butter on the side for my broccoli, she was gone. The mango chili tilapia I ordered came out smelling«fishy», which shouldn’t be the case for good fish. The rice tasted like plastic. I took three bites, and pushed the plate away. Nicole came by to ask if I wanted another drink(eventually), but didn’t take notice that I hadn’t eaten my food, or ask if there was a problem with it. After a while, we got someone in management to come over, and rather than just comp the dish, a replacement was offered. Being late in the evening, I opted to get a dessert to go. I get it home to find it looked like it had been thawed and re-frozen, then slammed down on a counter or the floor. It will be a while before we darken their door again.

This place isn’t amazing, but in a town that’s lacking many good restaurants, it stands out. They have decent enough food with some healthy options. Their staff is almost entirely made up of college kids so expect some good, some bad. The bar area has specials worth noting with deals on good portioned food and drinks. They use an automated check-out system that really speeds up the process. I’ve been here enough times to tell you that at least 1 out of 5 times you will not have a good experience. Sometimes they are very busy, other times not. I’ve been here for lunch in and out within 40 minutes, other times 2 and ½ hours. There’s no consistency really but it does have it’s good moments. Give them at least 3 chances to make you happy, just like my 3-star rating.

Perhaps one of the worst meals on a recent trip to south Texas, the family were on our way to Galveston and the kids were hungry so we stopped as we frequently dine in our local Chili’s in north Dallas. I am not sure how they did it but the old timer with cheese was horribly overcooked the veggies served along side were wilted and could not be eaten. The restaurant inside was very sloppy with dirty floors unclean tables and the waitstaff had a «this is how we operate» attitude. Not sure but it must be the only game in town and relies on I-45 to keep the business, would not recommend.

This Chili’s is a step above McDonald’s. Couldn’t even enjoy my meal due to so many distractions! The table next to us sang nearly the entire time and there were toddlers running around and climbing all over the booths. No manager or anyone said anything. Waiter was great, food was great but this Chili’s is going way down hill.

I actually made a Unilocal account to write a review on the Huntsville Chili’s. To start the food was horrible. I got the half rack ribs which was basically a half rack of pork jerkey. My wife ordered the boneless buffalo wings and that was just freezer to microwave chicken. Even our waiter complained about some«picky» customers saying they had issues with their food. I can recommend the table side guacamole though! When the manager made his way to us he was courteous and offered to comp a meal and dessert. It was obvious he was overworked from customer service issues. I hope they can fix these issues huntsville is lacking on good food.

One of the worst meals I’ve had in a restaurant, ever! The only reason I paid for this is no one was around to complain to. The food quality was extremely poor. My 18 year son, who eats continuously all day, couldn’t even finish his food it was so bad. My wife couldn’t eat her SALAD. Our service was slow. The place was dirty. I don’t know what is going on here but if this were occurring in DFW it would have closed. I don’t even recommend this place as a last resort. Skip it.

Corporatre office will not allow the restaurant to employ people to bus tables; therefore, the host has to help clean tables. Hence, the restaurant gets dirty easily and customers are backed-up at the door. They have an annoying procedure of telling you that two people are serving you and the service is still bad. The food is always good and always slow coming out of the kitchen. The wait staff is always friendly and nearly always slow. We’ve complained in the past and have come to the conclusion that Chili’s just doesn’t care.(By the way the new table kiosks are a joke and just another way to provide less personal service.)

Chili’s is a dive, and not in a good way. It was the first chain to hit Huntsville, and it shows. The greasy food will make you sick(moreso than other Chili’s restaurants), and I have to be very careful what I order there in order to avoid the stomach upset. The drinks are expensive for the quality, and it’s clear this restaurant is a cash cow being milked to death.

Fajita’s are expensive, do not include beans or rice unless you pay extra, sloooooow service. Staff doesn’t seem to care.

I have an hour for my lunch break(12 – 1). I ordered my food at 10:20 in the morning to be picked up at 12:15. I figured this would give me time to get back to the office and eat before 1. When I arrived at the restaurant at 12:15 I was informed that a large order was placed before mine and I would have to wait. I tried to ask how that order was places before my 10:20 order and I was shrugged off. My food did not arrive until 12:40, twenty minutes before my lunch break is over with a ten minute drive back to work. When I say I want my food ready at 12:15 I expect it to be ready and waiting for me. And get this: I was told that the reason I had to wait was not because y food was ready, it «just needed to be sacked up.» It takes 25 min to sack up food??? This is ridiculous! His excuse? The To-Go person was out that day. That’s no excuse. That’s unacceptable!!!

This Chili’s is nice. There is always a nice crowd here, enough to give the place energy and be a bit loud. The bar allows smoking indoors. Surprisingly, this place has great options for non-beef-eaters. My personal favorite is the bacon cheeseburger, substitute the burger for a black-bean patty. It’s delicious! I also love love love the spinach dip and chips — I could eat it as a meal unto itself. Did you know that if you ask for your remaining dip or salsa to-go at the end of your meal, they will bring you a full bag of chips to take home?! It’s wonderful. I get more salsa near the end of the meal, then take the salsa and a fresh(free) bag of chips home every time. The alcohol here is great. The Presidente is a good margarita(about 2-margarita size), but the new margarita — the Platinum Presidente — is DELICIOUS! They use lime juice instead of margarita mix and it is divine. It’s about 2.5−3 margarita size.

We go out to places like this for a good steak and they don’t have one. They can’t seem to cook a steak anything less than medium and put way too much salt on them. servers were nice & friendly, although we did have to ask for our white gravy several times. they had just opened, so outside and inside of the restaurant were clean

We just returned from a FREE meal for my husband at Chili’s. The food was great and so was the service. My husband said no one has ever given him anything extra for being a Veteran. He really appreciated Chili’s making the effort to say«Thanks» and he wants to say Thanks back to Chili’s. It was a super meal and one we will remember. We saw several other Vets there in the restaurant also. We will continue to visit Chili’s in the future. Thanks again to a super company that remembers the American Veteran.
