$ 5 for a dozen donuts… not to shabby! They have a pretty good selection of pretty good donuts. This place won’t blow your mind, but its better than grocery store donuts!

I saw something at this bakery that I hadn’t seen since I was a child: huge chunks of apple sticking out of an apple fritter! When I saw those chunks of apple I knew the group lunch I was supposed to have in an hour was not going to matter! This variety of baked delight is pretty much extinct in Houston-area donut shops as well as those in other major cities! And it was HUGE to boot! And only a buck?! My husband and I shared this delicious relic while enjoying the views of wildflowers and the art decorating the walls of Huntsville. An hour and a half is a long way to drive for a good fritter, but maybe on our next hiking trip we will gladly take the 5 minute drive into downtown for another! Oh and citizens of Huntsville? Don’t take for granted this little diamond in the rough — make sure it sticks around for years to come so that your children will know a great thing when they find it!

Good assortment of donuts. The donuts were ok. Found this place while driving on the interstate en route to Dallas from Houston. The bakery looked a little rundown and not very clean. An ok find in Unilocal, but wasn’t too impressed.
