I’ll start out with saying that I love frequenting non chain or small chain restaurants. Local if you will. So while traveling with my family this establishment appeared to be right up our alley. The pizza was good. The gelato was good, but the service wasn’t. It was a Sunday night and they were packed! There was one male employee in particular that was aggressive in behavior. He bumped into me rather roughly while trying to get to the register and didn’t even say«excuse me/sorry». I would have gladly moved had I seen him coming. There was a new young lady working, she had a positive attitude, but lacked any experience. The kitchen did well in keeping up with the orders. The front of the house people meh. If I’m in the area, I might go again, but hopefully the service will have improved. Also, it’s not a good idea to stack real glass drinking glasses. Not sure if this is a regular practice, but rapid chipped glass turnover or a patron possibly ingesting glass isn’t cool.

Okay I have to say for a local pizza joint, this is the BEST!!! Cool atmosphere with great good and even a choice of beer or Coke!!! The pizza crust is amazing and they have a great big menu to choose from! Don’t forget to try their homemade gelato, and if your old enough for spiked milkshakes try it, you won’t regret anything about this place.

Came by for Gelato with some girlfriends and the waitstaff was so nice and even gave us recommendations for what to do in Huntsville! The Gelato was amazing and I really want to come back for the spiked milkshake!

We stopped in for lunch during the week. It’s a cute little place in a nice area but there is only parallel parking along the street. You place your order at the register and seat yourself but you’re lucky if you find an open table since the place is tiny. They bring your food out to you when it is ready. We ordered 2 of the 8 inch, individual size pizzas and they were excellent but I had to take off 2 stars because we waited over 30 minutes for our food to come out and had to go up to the register twice to find out how much longer it would be. Lots of other people were up there asking the same thing about their food.

Always been a fan of this spot until today when my family(wife, 2yrs, 4yrs, and 7yrs) was verbally insulted by a waiter… we polity told the manager and left hungry… I’m happy there’s one in Madison lol

Love the pizza here! The crust has a good crunch and is just right. I swear they have the best cheese pizza in town. We also love the gelato. If they have the Mexican chocolate… you have to try it!!!

Thoroughly enjoy their pizza, but not a fan of the dining room set-up. Noisy. Don’t like the upstairs option. To-go pick-up is great. Delivery would be even better.

Two words: spiked milkshakes. I got one(it’s your birthday) and honestly I didn’t even care how my food was. It’s a great milkshake. But that’s not to say the food sucks! I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was soooo good. They actually messed it up the first time so I got another one for free. Nice. The person I was with got pizza and the cookies and cream spiked milkshake. I forget what toppings they got on their pizza, but they were definitely a fan and said their milkshake was delicious as well. The atmosphere inside and outside are both great, and the staff are really nice and friendly. This place is awesome.

A cute cozy place for causal hangout behind the courthouse building. Their gelato and sorbet are awesome. Pizza is not so good. The sauce is weak. The dough lacks flavor and I don’t enjoy eating the crust. I like the perimeters of the pizza to be crispy(slightly burned) and it isn’t. Although the servers are very friendly, the orders are not always correct. Overall, this place has lots of potentials for its great downtown location and a nice foundation for gelato and sorbet. S&G could be so much better!

Went here and sat outside on a rather warm March day! As others mentioned it’s a order first and no table service. Inside is rather awkward when ordering but can be expected when it’s in an older building. Just be okay with making a new friend while you’re ordering. Ordered the Pesto Margherita and a beer. The pesto had a little bit of a kick to it which was a nice surprise. The pizza was good but not the best I’ve ever had. Great patio spot downtown to enjoy a beverage, grab a bite to eat and do some people watching! Did not have a chance to try the gelato but will go back for sure.

We found this place via Unilocal and came for the gelato… However ended up with the pesto margarita pizza. It was amazing! Perfectly seasoned. Incredible crust! Came back the next day.

This was my first time here. Got a pizza to go and had a beer while waiting. First of all it is so cute inside! The small upstairs area wall is painted with little shops and bakery fronts. The tables have red and white checker tablecloths. It was just very inviting. I ordered a beer while waiting at the bar. They have a limited beer and qine selection, but there’s something for everyone. Also, most excitingly, they have alcoholic milkshakes!!! I didn’t try one but I plan on going back for one because they all sounded amazing. Alright now to the pizza. I got a large, extra cheese, half sausage. I am from a very Italian part of Ohio so living in the south has been very disappointing Italian food wise, but this pizza made me so happy! The first bite was perfect. And so was the last. The crust is very yummy. Seasoned well and a good crunch. Not super thin but not too thick either. The sauce is flavorful and the cheese is delicious. I almost didn’t even need the sausage because the plain pizza was so perfect, but they did a great job with the sausage too so there were no regrets there. It was the best pizza we have had since moving to huntsville. Actually it’s probably the best pizza I have had since moving 4 years ago. Great place, I’m excited to go back to try their gelato and alcoholic milkshakes

The pizza is really good, sauce has a good flavor and it’s just the right amount. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We loved our gelatos, I had birthday cake and my mom had coconut and a picky chocolate. Yum!

Sorry, I wasn’t that impressed. Now don’t get me wrong, it was quite OK pizza. Just not amazing. We went there for the first time for my husband’s birthday, and took his parents. I kinda wish we had just gone to Mellow Mushroom. The pizza was good, but the chicken was dry, the place was packed(we tried calling ahead for reservations and were told they weren’t needed), and they don’t wait the tables. Other than that, it was okay. We didn’t have the chance to try the gelato.

Pretty tasty pizza! I wasn’t too adventurous and only had the supreme but it was really delicious. I had the small(10 inch) with another person and it was plenty for the both of us. Even had a slice left over. The gelato was okay too. I actually liked getting the drink myself. Saves on wasted soda or having to wait around on a server… just get it yourself!

Interesting pizza place with a very artsy atmosphere. Tasty pizza we got the deluxe and that was more than enough for us to split. It was Interesting to eat pizza in a coffee shop vibe to it. Really nice local place and laid back. They also have a patio option for seating as well.

Stopped here on a road trip from Omaha, NE to Enterprise, AL. A little out of the way for us but completely worth it. First the town itself is an adorable town, wish we would’ve planned to spend time here! Sama and Gregs was fantastic both atmosphere, service, and food. We had a big group so we had: pesto margarita pizza, Philly steak and cheese sandwhich, pepperoni pizza, Hawaiian pizza(made our own as she didn’t want olives or bacon), chicken strips(kids meal), & a make your own that was Pesto, feta cheese, bacon, and chicken. All of the food was fantastic, haven’t seen everyone in the group eat all of their food so quickly. We also got Gelato from them and once again, everyone got a mixture of flavors but they were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a must stop if you’re in the area!

GREATPIZZA! Was in town with the family for a lacrosse tournament and wanted to hit some of the local spots for dinner. Saw Sam & Greg’s Pizza on Unilocal with good reviews and wanted to give it a try. We got a 12″ cheese & meat lovers and an 8″ buffalo chicken pizza. The family all wanted water and i tried a Blue Pants . Being from NY we are a bit of a snob about pizza. This pizza was good thin crust with good sauce and cheese. All of the meats and vegetables were really fresh. My son wanted to try the chocolate Gelato that is made fresh on the premises. We got him a small cup and he said it tasted like frozen chocolate milk and was very rich and really good. Overall, for about $ 35, we three had a great meal in a nice atmosphere and walked out very happy! Next time we are in town, we plan to eat here again!

Pizza is great with a small beer selection. I had the pesto margarita pizza. The pesto was very mild which is probably on purpose since it compliments the pizza well. Overall pizza was definitely good. I set outside at one of the tables on the sidewalk. Great downtown feel but without the heavy foot traffic. Parking is limited as with all downtown Huntsville. Small Pizza and a beer was about 15 dollars.
