Ralph’s Triangle Service

Excellent service at affordable price! We were returning home to the San Francisco Bay area when our Honda Odysee AC compressor and clutch broke. We drove off the I-​5 carefully and looked up the nearest service station and that’s how we ended up at Ralph’s. The whole procedure took about 3 hours but Ralph tried his best to make my family of 4 comfortable while we waited. He even offered to let the kids watch Netflix and link to his Wi-​Fi. Our impression of the owner, Ralph, is that he is a honest guy who works for reasonable prices. His primary market is to serve the local community and he clearly has a handful of mechanics who know what they are doing. Thank you!

TRULY WONDERFUL. I cannot say enough about how great these guys are. They were thorough, professional, and went well above and beyond the call of duty. They really saved our trip!
On a trip from San Francisco to San Diego the day before Thanksgiving, my wife and I noticed a loud and repeating noise as we drove down the highway. At 5:50 pm the night before Thanksgiving and with very little around us, we scrambled to find anyone who was willing to look at our car. We call Ralph’s and Ralphie (Ralph’s son) answered. He said they were just leaving for the day but said he would wait for us and look at the car if we could make it to him. We struggled to get the car to him (found out that we had snapped 2 lugs on the back right wheel and the remaining lugs had become so loose it could have fallen off on the highway) but finally made it to the garage. Their entire team waited for us and quickly and efficiently sourced the issue. They offered to come in on Thanksgiving to make the needed repairs, and Jose even gave us a ride back to the highway to Harris Ranch where we stayed for the night. The next day they came in at 7:00 am (again on Thanksgiving day!) and had the car fixed and ready by noon. What’s more, they went above and beyond just replacing the two broken lug nuts and replaced all of the lugs one the entire car because the existing lugs were aftermarket and far thinner than original parts. The final total for the work was much less than I expected (under $ 200), especially given the holiday work, pick-​up and drop off from our hotel, and the parts and labor. Unbelievably, we arrived in SD in time to have our Thanksgiving dinner with our family, and it is all thanks to Ralphie, Jose, and the rest of the team at Ralph’s.
These guys are as good as it gets. If I ever get broken down again in Huron, CA I know who I will be calling. Ralph’s triangle and the honest, hard working people who made a potentially traumatic experience stress free. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!

So I was driving back from Los Angeles to Oakland on I5 when suddenly my truck started shaking and smoke coming out of my front passenger side tire, it was around 7:00 in the morning so I pulled over and knew exactly what the problem was… It was the wheel bearing but I was stranded in the middle of the road, with no tools and without a spare wheel bearing of course, so I sat there for a few minutes until a highway patrol officer showed up, she offered to call a tow truck and recommended that I should have the tow truck driver take me to a shop a few miles ahead but when this driver showed up he insisted that I should go to his friend’s shop, he said that the shop a few miles ahead was too expensive and that they would take a very long time so I agreed not knowing what I was getting my self into, so instead of driving a few miles ahead we went back south for a few miles and then he took some exit that lead us to Huron CA a dusty little town in the San Joaquin valley, so we finally got to Ralph’s triangle, it was a little early so we had to wait until Ralph and his crew showed up and when they did Ralph whose real name is Rafael told me not to worry, that they would look at my truck and take care of the problem and I would be on the road in no time, he started asking questions like where are you coming from, where are you going and stuff like that, at the time it sounded like a friendly conversation, little did I know that what this low life piece of shit was doing was trying to figure out how vulnerable I was so a couple hours later he said that they had found the problem and that it was going to cost me $ 450.00 I looked at him and said «are you sure? It’s only a wheel bearing» and he said «yeah it is the wheel bearing but a bunch of other parts broke when the wheel bearing gave up» I knew he was lying but at that point not only was my truck not drivable I was also far from I5 so I knew I was fucked! So I told Ralphie that he was crazy and I didn’t have $ 450.00 and also a wheel bearing is probably $ 30 and labor shouldn’t be a lot, it’s a 15 minute fix but Rat-​fael also knew that I was fucked so he looked at me with a smile and said «well that’s how much it’s going to cost to fix your truck» I was furious and told him that I would rather drive my truck like that until I found a auto parts store and that I would fix it my self, he looked at me again with that stupid smile on his face and said «look! I want to help you, how much money do you have?» I said $ 100 because I thought that would be a fair price, he laughs and said «ok give me $ 150 and I’ll get you back on the road, I will have to go to the junk yard and get you used parts because you can’t afford new ones» all I wanted was to get out of that dusty hell so I agreed, I knew he was lying about getting used parts because it wouldn’t make sense to take the time to remove a $ 30 part and then install it on a different car so I agreed and he said ok, so I sat there for 5 hours while they pretended to work on my truck, I was, hot, thirsty, hungry and fucking furious so then around 1:00 pm he said ok your truck is ready, I threw the money on his desk and walked out of there, I drove home and the first thing I did was add road side assistance to my insurance! Stay away from dusty Huron! If your car breaks down on the road and you have no road side assistance go where the officers recommend, and most of all avoid this Ralph’s triangle shit hole! Fuck you very much Rat-​fael!!!

My car broke down on I5 with my two children and Ralph’s towed my car to the garage. I had to stay over and Melanie helped by taking me to a hotel. My son loved her. I felt so scared being away from home and also being a woman. But they all did such a great job in fixing my car. Jose did a fantastic job, very nice. If you need help around the Harris Ranch area call them, they really go out of their way to help.
