Specialties

The Diamond Ranch Academy experience begins with a weeklong orientation. During this phase our key people spend time getting to know each new student on an intimate level. Every department is showcased, giving your child an introduction to the many possibilities available to them. The DRA experience continues as our teams of professionals work closely together to educate our students and parents with the essential tools and techniques geared toward healing individual and family relationships. These methods and practices are tried, tested and have proven successful, time and time again. The DRA powerful Real Life Transition Program provides an opportunity for your child to practice living real life skills in a safe environment rich with opportunities to learn, earn, work hard and play hard.

History

Established in 1999.

Diamond Ranch Academy was established in 1999. We have helped thousands of families through the healing process. Our aim is to provide students a normalized, safe environment, where they can work through their struggles. We are different by design. We aim to help students individually while at the same time providing a place that doesn’t feel like a hospital. Our students enjoy all of the benefits of a traditional school, however, we provide a safety net where they can experience what life is like when making correct decisions. It is this experience that ultimately helps them to outgrow the poor decision making of the past and mature into happy, healthy kids on their way to becoming successful adults.

Business Owner

Growing up my family took in over 20 foster children coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. During this time I was able to see the impact of clear and wholesome guidance on the lives of these brothers and sisters of mine. I grew a strong desire to continue my family’s legacy of providing help to those in need, particularly to struggling youth. I had the opportunity to work at several programs for troubled youth and learned many great things. I also saw a lot of room for improvement. In 1999, my wife and I started Diamond Ranch Academy and began to implement the things I had learned from my experiences along with so many other ideas that I believed would help these kids. We have maintained that philosophy of being dynamic in our approach to treatment. That idea has served us very well as we are now on the cutting edge of adolescent treatment.
