WillowWind RV Park

We were looking at booking here for my son’s baseball tourney for 5 days. While booking we realized you have to pay up front & it’s non-​refundable. So, if my son gets injured & cannot play in the next two months & we decide not to go, they keep the full fare? Not right.

We recently stayed here and it is a nice RV park. We checked in and they sent us to our site. While backing into our site I heard something and got out to look there was a tree limb over hanging the corner of the site which while backing up ripped the roof of our new fifth wheel. I had the roof patched up and went into talk to them about the limb that over hangs the site. They said they would have one of the maintenance guys go look at it but if course I was told by the girl at the front desk they couldn’t see anything wrong. But she wasn’t sure he went to the site we were in. So I asked them if they carried insurances for things like that but I got the old brush off and it was all my fault. I have been driving semi trucks for over 30 years and I know how to back into place but I guess I should of cut the limb down my self. We also were in the site longer than we had intended to so when I asked about staying one more night they said we could but we would have to move because someone had reserved that site so I asked if they could check to see if he was even going to be in and that was to much to ask so we moved. The next morning we left and wouldn’t you guess the guy never showed up and we could of stayed in that site one more night. The park is nice but I’m not so sure the management is willing to go the extra mile for the customer. I was highly disappointed in how they handle the limb situation and never once got to talk to the manager just the girl up front who I think shouldn’t be making decision for the park that need the bosses expertise on.

One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in. Large level paved pads. Grassy areas, tree shaded. And QUIET! Even though it is close to the main street it is very quiet. Nights are silent. Staff is excellant, friendly.
We moved here from the KOA after leaving the KOA early.
This park is well maintained and manicured.

After I paid $ 36 for my camping and set up my tent the sprinkles went on. My tent my sleeping bag my phone and my maps get wet. End it up sleeping in my car. Wasted money for camping until sprinkles not fix!

This place was so clean and nice. The spots were large and perfectly manicured, and OMG the bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen. They were private and large. If I had a bathroom as clean and as nice as there’s in my own house, I’d consider myself lucky!

This is my first RV park and I must say, I’m quite impressed. Very friendly staff who are constantly about taking care of things throughout the property. Men and women showers/​bathrooms are separated and very clean. Our row was completely covered with trees and shade which made the 100 °F heat bearable. This park is walking distance to the grocery store and multiple restaurants. I will be back on my way in/​out of Las Vegas.

This place was very nice! Bathrooms were kept well and they were building another set of restrooms and showers. We were in our tent and the green grass was perfect to set up on.
No wind to worry about, no traffic noise. Stayed here on June 18, 2015. Didn’t use the Wi-​Fi. Check in: 1300. Check out: 1200.

RV parks are not my cup-​a tea. I like county, state and National Parks best when on a Twoairheads Airstreaming Adventure! When I need something other than tea, well WillowWind is mighty fine. RV spacious, flat, paved sites separated by grass for my Airstream trailer and full hook ups (electrical, gray and black water). Well managed, WIFI, and cable. Bath and showers super tidy the entire week we parked our rig there. Good location in Hurricane. Quiet. Safe. I’d park my rig here again, while kicking butt on all the wondrous fat tire trails!

Excellent, quiet, clean, lots of shade, and very reasonable. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants.
