This place is a solid 3 stars. Tons of items fill(and overfill) the little booths within. It can take some time to stop and look. Items range from flea market finds to small furniture to lots of Barbie’s and knives. But there are some random weird items such as the gasoline powered blender(can you say camping daiquiris?) and the locked gun cabinet with guns inside with a sign on it saying«guns not for sale»… See… weird.

The place has superb diversity of products. I would recommend this to anyone who is an antique shopper or into costume jewelry. The value is a little off, as most of the prices were well over the value, and there is really not anyone present to negotiate with. Out of the 20 items I looked at, 7 of them were without price tags. I spent nearly 15 minutes looking into a case at the front desk, and the guy was looking at the monitor, and never asked if I needed assistance. Finally I just moved on. Later in my visit another person saw my hands were full, and took my selections to the front in a positive fashion. I heard two other customers have to ask more than once for assistance, so be prepared to wait or beg for help. Some of the items are truly beautiful, and so even if you are not buying its worth a stop and see.

This is an OK antique mall, but doesn’t really qualify for the ‘3’ stars in my book. I’m not much of an antique shopper, but was looking for something to do in the a/c one very hot afternoon and was tired of hanging out at home. Since I also didn’t want to drive too far and remembered a recent review for this place, me and the Hubs decided to check it out(well, maybe it was just me who made the decision to go here). One of the other reviewers was spot-on about it being difficult to move around in the place. It’s tough even if you don’t have mobility issues(don’t let your shoulder bag bump into anything!). The place is fairly small and it’s packed practically from floor to ceiling in a lot of areas with the usual ‘stuff’ you see at these kinds of places. Alas, nothing begged me to take it home and I left empty-handed but it was kinda fun looking around anyway. And the other reviewer was right again about this shop being located in a somewhat dicey area. Even in mid-afternoon, there were some questionable people walking around outside(one guy seemed to eyeball our car as we were parking).

What really sets this place apart from other antique malls is their excellent tea room.(Mitra’s team room.) I have a very detailed 5-star review on that already, so I won’t take up too much space here. Just if you’re here before 4:00 on Saturday or 3:00 during the week, you owe it to yourself to go. Their desserts and iced tea are amazing. However, even without the tea room, this is a delightful little antique mall. It has a wide variety of inventory and many of the prices are very fair(though as is with most antique malls, there are some vendors that seem a little more«proud» of their items than we were.) We gravitate to anything that is mid-century modern and cool bar-ware and there were quite a few things to our taste. We bought a fantastic champagne bucket and glasses set and a couple of champagne flutes. We’re further considering a couple of larger furniture purchases, that we may return for. I also bought a fun turquoise jewelry set(on sale for 60% off!) and he got a broken«Rolex» for $ 20. We’re thinking it’s a fake, but if it’s real, it’ll be a great deal. At $ 20 he was willing to gamble. All in all, we had a very enjoyable afternoon shopping and dining here. Definitely recommend it.

My girlfriend and I visit this Antique Outlet quite often, even though we’ve haven’t purchased anything here so far(though my girlfriend has been eyeballing a certain booth in there). It kind of reminds me of a condensed Mid-Cities Antique Mall(the quality of the goods seem about the same). The guy at the register(I’m guessing, also the owner), is polite when acknowledged. But to be honest, the first time I came to this store I was wondering if anyone was watching things(I didn’t see anyone else there at the time). Then we saw him tucked away behind the register(almost hidden) on his PC. I couldn’t recommend this location to anyone who has a hard time moving around(especially someone dependent on a wheelchair). The aisles can go from being reasonably roomy to basically having to walk sideways just slip through.(see pic of how this store is put together) One more piece of advice. This location may be open later then most antique stores, but I would recommend not going there when it’s dark. That’s because of the(not bad, but not great) neighborhood it resides in, plus there’s an AA(Alcoholics Anonymous) hall right around the corner. For some strange reason we typically visit this place around closing hours and we’ve noticed some rough looking people hanging out close or passing by the front of this store from time to time. We’ve never felt like we were in danger, be we are cautious of our surroundings.
