Hampton Inn & Suites Dfw Airport West

Stayed here on a business trip. Very nice hotel one of the best I have stayed in. Breakfast every morning and they even have a nice little snack bar when you first arrive. Really quiet and a lot of other business professionals staying there. A couple of nice restaurants in walking distance.

I really thought I was going to enjoy this place until… I was charges $ 150+ dollars for night I didn’t even stay there. My coworkers checked in 2 days before me and somehow I was lumped into that reservation (even after phoning to make sure I wasn’t). I tried 3 times during my 8 day stay to speak to a manager… which still hasn’t happened a week after checking out.
I’m not giving up on the brand… just this particular hotel.

Hotel was nice and clean for my stay in January 2015 BUT the food sanitation was TERRIBLE. The general manager/​owner and the staff regularly took food from the breakfast bar and the nightly happy hour WITH THEIR HANDS!!! Utensils were provided but they were either too lazy or did not care about the health code standards of the state of Texas. I’d never eat there again. So why stay if you can’t eat the food that you are already paying for in the room price?

Had a quick stop and stay recently at this location. The hotel is newer, staff very friendly and had a late check in and called ahead. They had my room keys ready to go which was nice with a midnight arrival. Had a king suite and was comfortable, plenty of room. Nice sized bathroom with sinks separate from shower area.
Breakfast the next morning was interesting as there was a Roller Derby Tournament in town not to far away and several teams staying there. Super nice groups of ladies from WI, NY, MA and other states. Lots were already dressed in their outfits and ready to go, was neat.
Breakfast was good, standard offerings of eggs, bacon and sausage, out os oatmeal but waffle maker was rocking. Staff worked hard to keep area clean and the eating area was spread out a bit, different style chairs etc for comfort.
Only negative was parking. Was a Friday night and shares lot with 3 other hotels so had to park a hotel down and in the back, but of a whip.
Otherwise, nice hotel, looks like multiple restaurants close by. Would stay again!

I travel every week and always stick with hilton brands. I’ve stayed at other Hilton properties in Dallas, but this place takes the cake! Clean, easy to get to, awesome happy hour buffet, and fantastic management. I will now be booking here every week!

As a road warrior, I tend to stick with the same brands when I travel. National Rental Car & Hilton properties. Unfortunately I’m given a budget which takes me from a 5 star resort to a 3 star hotel… that being said, I regularly stay at a Hampton Inn.
Upon arriving at this particular location I discovered that it isn’t just your basic Hampton Inn. The owners here really go above and beyond and it shows! The very best part of this location is the nightly happy hour, which runs until 7pm. Now other Hilton properties offer this like Embassy Suites for example, but it’s not something you’d typically find at a Hampton Inn & Suites. And it’s not your typical HH food: it’s cheese and fruit, small bites, cookies, a whole smörgåsbord to tell you the truth! It’s amazing! On top of that it’s free white or red wine, or free bud light, all chilled of course and no limit, serve yourself. After a full day of travel I truly needed a drink upon arrival.
The rest of my stay was typical. Nice comfortable room, with a couch, desk, mini fridge and microwave. There’s always nice toiletries in the bathroom, but here they had more than the basics, they had a shoe shine kit, cotton swabs, etc. The Sheets AND duvet covers are washed and changed for every guest. No creepy crawly germs at his hotel chain! There’s ice and soda vending on every floor, a snack bar in the lobby for those who don’t have time to grab a bite to eat. And of course the complimentary continental breakfast in from 6 — 10 am. Oh and I cannot forget the breakfast bags, one of my favorite features. For the traveler on the go, you can grab a sack breakfast: apple, granola bar and bottled water.
The staff at this location were very friendly, even when I changed my length of stay to one day less than my reservation. If you’re in the area, you should stay here — it’s a memorable Hampton experience!

Friendly, clean and helpful! This Hampton Inn offers the trifecta. The staff was able to help with several special requests.
The complimentary happy hour and breakfast buffet were pretty good. The pool was clean and the fitness area was adequate. We will be back.
The roll in shower in the disability access room could be improved. The shower seat is on the far wall from the faucet, not possible for some people to operate on their own.

Great Hamptonian! A bit of a drive, but great folks

Very clean and well maintained rooms. We really enjoyed our stay especially their indoor (heated I think) pool and spa in the sun-​room with outside patio space (the patio is connected to dining room also). We stayed on the Apr 1^st and they had a complimentary evening hors d’oeuvres and beverages (soft drinks, Beers and wine) and they were pretty good.

I’ve stayed in a lot of Hampton Inn’s and this one was by far the best, don’t even know where to start?!
— SUPER reasonable rates, even over holidays
— Free shuttle to/​from DFW
— Digital control of the temperature in your room — AND you can choose heat/​cold (most hotels I’ve seen have heat OR cold turned on throughout the whole hotel)
— Manager’s reception from 5−7p Mon-​Thurs with full bottles of beer (everything from your normal domestics to dos equis and SHINER!), wine, sodas, cheese and veggie plates, pasta + meatballs. I’ve only previously seen this done at Embassy Suites and the snack food was much more awesome here.
— Bathrooms are nicely decorated and they are generous with the toiletries and towels
— No extra charges for the microwave and mini-​fridge in each room.
— Free breakfast, including waffle station! And it was well attended to.
— ²⁴⁄₇ business center and small indoor pool.
— Ample parking, good access to 183.

Got delayed by weather and was forced to stay here.
Nice hotel.
Best part; some redneck idiot woman in the lobby the next morning loudly talking about how she’d stayed up all night to see the footage of Saddam Hussein being executed but they never showed it.
God love Texas, cause I certainly don’t.
