Holt Fiat of Hurst

This dealership is the ultimate definition of CON and SCAM. My fiancé and I went there to try and get a vehicle. After hours we finally were able to drive off with a used car.
While there, they kept going back and forth, the usual car sales crap, and then acted all friendly with us before we drove off. Once I got home, I realized the temp tags were never replaced and the low tire pressure guage and low windshield fluid light was on. Days later I was able to get it back there after calling them several and playing back and forth games til I reached someone.
Long story short, they let us leave with the car wothout my fiancé proof of employment with a paystub. They accepted mine and I also gave them an offer letter to go with mine and they were ok with that til a week later when they started harassing me and my fiancé to give them a paystub or some proof of employment to which we then did send them something and they still were not satisfied. They began upping the harassment and then called my employer division office asking for my fiancé and me a day after I talked to them. I told them we had worked it out with the financial institution and the «so called Kevin» at the dealership called and twxted me and said the deal was good to go and I can bring the car down for an inspection and the tags. My fiancé and I made an appointment and wrnt down. Once there we sat in service for 2 hrs before anyone making contact with us. Once they did it was not «Kevin» who came to us even though thats who I talked to. It was some other African American male who was very rude and thought he was gods gift tonthe world, very arrogant. I asked to see Kevin but they never lee and kept making excuses and brought us to an office. I continued asking for Kevin but they never answered me. They began talking about the car and loan we had signed but saying it was never official sense they didn’t receive my fiancees paystub. I showed them and told them about the text I received from «Kevin» but they ignored me and he then had the odasaty to leave us in the office and go on his phone and deal with other people for another 2hrs. He said the Sales Manager would come and see us but he never did. 2 hrs after this game I went to his office and interrupted him to which he finally brought us tonthe Manager. Once in the office they threatened my fiancé and I and said we cant have the car back even though we had signed all the papers and was told in writing that it was good to go and ready for plates and inspection. I began an argument with the manager and other guy to which the manager had the odasaty to say «not my fault you dont have a good job and cant keep a car». He has no idea about me or my life and I was absolutely shocked at this. They escorted us out and I asked him to pay for my cab home sense they took the car to which he said, «not my problem find your own way home».
This dealership is the ultimate embarrassment and they will screw you over and threaten you. I knlw people use these sites to just vent about their experience and you cant believe everything ypu read which I believe that to BUT I never use these unless I feel I need to make my voice heard. STAY AWAY from Holt Fiat. They will destroy you.

My wife loves her Fiat lounge. But I dislike holt fiat in hurst. Extreme lack of a sense of customer service. hey, but it’s only 5 miles to the express lane service. I just hope they properly change the oil

worst place ever… what ever car you buy. look it up. they sale used cars that been in car recks and not suupost to be sold. they by there cars from auctions and fix it like new. and make sure you know what your signing before you buy. they will cheat you in miles of the car. i will not recommend this place at all.

I’ve been trying to buy a 500 Abarth for a week now. I went by the Fiat booth at the Ft. Worth Auto show 4 times. There were no sales people to be found. I emailed Holt and the girl replied that there was no show, no Fiat booth and I was mistaken… WTF! Anyway, after reading all the bad reviews, I still went to the dealership with my checkbook. After looking at the car for 20-​minutes directly in front of the showroom window full of salespeople, I walked to my 328. Run. Run away! I’ll just by another BMW. (Holt, you have a real problem!)

My husband and I had been impressed by the amount of inventory Holt Fiat had online (on
), so we went to the dealership in Hurst last night. We arrived ready to buy a 2013 Fiat if we found one with the right mileage, price, etc. and we wanted to see what they had. We liked the salesman who greeted us. However, we ended up being so put off by the inflexible and non-​customer-​friendly sales tactics of the dealership that we left after a few minutes.
We just wanted to look at some cars and find something we liked. We’re pretty spontaneous and decisive buyers. Instead of looking at cars as we wanted, we first endured a lengthy «needs analysis», including taking a copy of our driver’s license, which we felt was premature. The salesman seemed a little thrown-​off that we were cash buyers (not interested in a monthly payment).
Next, we were going to be shown one car at a time that they recommended for us. The car was going to be driven to us rather than having us go out on the lot. That might sound like a convenience, but not to us; we wanted to «shop», then choose from a selection. At this rate, the process could take hours. We «jumped the gun» and went out to the lot anyway, and were surprised to find that the salesman could not give us the price or mileage of the car chosen for us, or any car on the lot. Prices were not even on his computer. Only the sales manager had the prices in his computer. The salesman could not give us the car’s mileage up front either, as no stickers are posted on the cars. We would only find out the mileage when we turned the car on. It turns out the mileage IS on the salesman’s computer, just not the prices. We told him we wanted to initially have a CHOICE of vehicles meeting our needs, which was not possible due to the «procedures» at the dealership.
The salesman really wanted to help us and make us happy, but his company procedures prohibited that. We left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied. If the car prices are kept a carefully controlled «secret» to the customer, we didn’t feel very trusting of the process. We understand the need for the dealership to have some control over its sales process with customers, but this was beyond ridiculous. We drove over to CarMax, viewed a few Fiats and purchased one on the spot. We’ll pick it up this morning. We might have paid a little more for the car than we might have at Holt, but it was worth it for the convenience, ease of viewing/​choosing and «no hassle», buyer-​friendly process at CarMax.
Unless you like to be «controlled» and uninformed throughout the sales process, we do not recommend visiting Holt Fiat.

Worst company to deal with ever… They are crooks and buyers beware. Diego is the worst and his customer service sucks. Told me payments would be one thing and then had me sign paper work saying it was another. Such liars and crooks. Do not deal with them.

My little abarth needed its first oil change and when I purchased it the manager threw in free oil changes for life. I was a little hesitant that it was true but took it in today to have my first one done as well as its inspection. Took around 1.5 hrs but Lauren the service manager I dealt with was super courteous and polite. I asked if I could request a specific type of oil and told them no big deal of that wasn’t included but she went and checked. They had it in stock and so that was the oil I got.
I couldn’t of had a better experience unless it could of taken 15 minutes :) but that would just be greedy.
Reading other reviews so far sounds like I’m just having exceptional luck but I really have been impressed with this dealership so far. And I love my little fiat.

The only reason I’m even giving Holt Fiat one star is that Unilocal requires it. Bad doesn’t even begin to describe my experience since buying my car. The service department is horrible. If you can even get someone to answer the phone, you won’t get any help. My clutch went out at under 40k miles… seriously…and cost me $ 1200 to replace, even though I bought the full extended warranty. It took them A MONTH to get around to replacing my clutch. Did you read that right? THEY HAD MY CAR FOR A MONTH. They gave me a loaner, which was filled with half empty Dr Pepper bottles and cigarette ashes, which I’m violently allergic to. In the month they had my car, I got one phone call. I couldn’t reach anyone. I couldn’t even get a voicemail. They are so unprofessional, it’s like a joke. I have never seen such horrible customer service in my life.
I will never buy a Fiat again, and it is 100% because of my experience with Holt.

We bought a used truck from Holt. The price listed online was more than $ 1000 less than the price they charged us. We tried calling all day Friday, then again this morning to ask them to fix it. Finally, we just went to the dealership and asked for the sales manager. His response… its your fault for signing the contract. They are liars and cheats, plain and simple. They did offer him a couple oil changes and a tank of gas. Wow. BUYER BEWARE!

They really deserve –10 stars! Let me tell you… stay away at ALL COST. I went in to see about purchasing a second vehicle. Read some where they worked with all credit types. I have challenged credit but I make very good money so I thought for sure I could get approved for something at least oh I don’t know… DECENT! When I say decent, I’m thinking at least a 2012 sedan with 30k+ mileage paying no more than $ 450 a month. Again I make pretty good money so I thought this was reasonable. Jade was my salesman. It started out nice. He told us a little about his background and where he was from and even about his bootcamp. Then we got into what I was looking for. First of all when I told him the amount I was looking to pay a month, this twerp laughs. He hooks up a deal while my husband and I go scan the lot. We settle on a 2011 (or possibly 2010, can’t remember) Chevrolet Malibu. We get back in and let him know. He presents us with a deal to put $ 1200 down, 48 mo. on a 2009 malibu. But First this tricky manipulative man lied to my face. I specifically asked the year of the car BEFORE going to view/​test drive he told me 2010. I asked the mileage BEFORE going to view, he told me 32 000. I get outside to a RAGGEDY, SMELLY, DISGUSTING, PAINT CHIPPED, DENTED (WHICH HE TRIED TO HIDE BY OPENING THE DOOR AND STANDING IN FRONT OF), 2009 Malibu with 52k mi. It smelled like mildew and ass! I was livid that he actually lied to me like I had «embecil» plastered across my forehead! I advised him I was nowhere near interested. He then changed from «Mr. Nice guy» to a complete asshole. Basically tried to bully me into the vehicle. Told me NO ONE else would give me a better deal with my credit and I kept stressing to him money was not an issue so I knew that was a lie. He almost had me though. He stressed how much of a credit builder this would be. He presented it as more of an investment. So I was almost sold. I wanted to run it by my dad (as I do most purchases over 10k) who’s a financial advisor. He got so nasty saying «this is not a big deal to have to run by your dad, it’s simple. This is the best you’re going to get.» After that I was done! I told him No and he led me to believe he was going to see about another deal with his manager but really he passed me off and took other customers. His manager came in and asked what was wrong. I already knew I wasn’t going to spend a dime there but I still wanted to tell him how that slimy grimy salesman of his tried to play me. We ended up having to leave, literally saved by the bell! I received two calls after leaving asking me to come back in so they could work something out. Needless to say, I declined. I opted to go to Grubbs Nissan on September 13, 2014, where I drove out of there in a NEW 2015 Nissan Altima! See at Grubbs, they know money talks and they listen to what the customer wants. S/​o to my main man Suraj. I’m still loving my baby. I enjoy my free car wash (for life) weekly, and just brought her in for her first oil change after reaching 3750 mi. My advice, pass them and drive on down to Grubbs. If you’re naïve and not very strong willed, you WILL get bullied into something you don’t want. Please take my advice. Yes I know it’s long but I know it will help someone. Plus I just wanted to give a BIG «UP YOURS» to Jade and the rest of the crew at this dump. Never tell me what I can’t do or what won’t happen for me. I always prove the naysayers wrong!

Went in and got a car with Dylan and Oliver back in August 2014. I advised them I want a Maxima or a similar car with a sunroof. I traded in my Corolla which was the only car I’ve owned. I live an hour away so I was pleased to get a 2010 Altima since I really needed a newer car. However, they promised if I joined their credit repair program and make 6 months of on time payments I can get the Maxima I really wanted since my credit isn’t all that. So I called last week, which was after 6 months of on time payments, and turns out neither of them are no longer there! I ended up having to deal with a Johnny. He pulled a new credit app on me and NEVER CALLED ME BACK!!! Which doesn’t surprise me at all since I’ve dealt with this same issue numerous times regarding different issues. I’m very disappointed with their service and HIGHLY DON’T recommend them at all! DON’T FALL FOR THEIR CREDIT REPAIR PROGRAM, IT DOESN’T WORK!!!

Please read below: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM NO MATTER WHAT!!! I purchased a 2010 Ford F150 4×4 Lariat from this pathetic, unethical place in August of 2013. I was never told it had previous negative history. Such as I was the 4^th owner, and it was declared a «total loss» from the first owner back in 2010. Within the past few weeks I have decided to sell the vehicle and took it to 2 different local dealerships. Both said they could not take the vehicle because of the history of it. I was showed the car-​fax by a Toyota dealership in Arlington and was shocked and speechless! NONE of this information was disclosed when I purchase the vehicle. I took the vehicle back to Holt that same day, I showed DK Woodard (sales manager) the car-​fax and told him we did not want the vehicle anymore. FIRST LIE: He told me they would never purchase much less sell a vehicle with that kind of history. I was sitting in his office as he pulled up the VIN number in his system and he said the vehicle looked fine and they they would love to buy the truck back because they need good trucks all the time, but he would have to check with his boss. We left and DK called back and said (Gabe Hardegree-​Director) said to bring the truck back in and pick out what car I wanted to purchase and they would work something out on trading the vehicle in. We went in the next day and tried to speak with DK Woodard and he refused to speak with me and brushed me off to some sales lady. I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR to her that I was not there to purchase ANOTHER VEHICLE from them, I wanted out from under the worthless vehicle they first sold me. I was at the dealership for 2 hours and was finally told Gabe Hardegree would have to contact the Owner Mr Fiat himself the next day. I called back the next day and DK Woodard said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle or it’s history and that there was nothing they would do. I asked if they would like me to get a lawyer or the TEXAS DOT involved and he started yelling «Go ahead do whatever you have to do because we have our lawyers ready to get us out of anything», and they kindly hung up on me. I am not left with a 30k loan on a vehicle WORTH NOTHING because it was totaled and has a salvage title and is also very unsafe to drive as the frame has been bent.

I saw a car online that two different sales people assured me was still on the lot. I drove 45 minutes through heavy traffic to go to the dealership. Needless to say, I was misled and they didn’t have the specific car I was interested in, but they were very eager to show me higher priced cars. They showed me a car that the sales guy said was undriveable. It had a dead battery, hail damage, and rusted out hole in it. What a complete waste of time! These guys lived up to every negative stereotype of the used car salesman.

This place deserves a zero. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORT I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO ENCOUNTER. Over thanksgiving break I totaled my truck and when I came home for Christmas my amazing parents had bought me a 2011 Nissan Xtera from Holt Fiat of Hurst. My parents told me that buying the SUV was painless and not a problem. The problemSS started after the purchase. When My parents bought the car they agreed with the dealership that Holt would have another key made and that the glove box would be fixed because it wouldn’t stay shut. Because the car is a Nissan they had to take it to a Nissan dealer to get the new key made. So my mom made a special 1 hour drive to take it back to Holt to get the key made and glove box fixed. When she got the car back we had the extra key but they didn’t have the glove box fixed. She then called up there to see why they had not fixed and no one seemed to know what she was talking about. She then spoke to a finance person named, Drove, who told her that she would have to bring it up to the dealership AGIAN to get the glove box fixed, they also promised a tank of gas to compensate for us having to make an hour drive again. By this time I had come home form college and mom had me take it back up to the dealership to get he glove box fixed. When I arrived with a friend at 9:40 non of the doors were unlocked at the dealership, which is a red flag with me because I worked as a receptionist for almost a year at a very reputable dealership, If we didn’t have the doors unlocked as soon as it turned 9 (the time they open) we would get in trouble. Finally after knocking a confused looking (probably cause they don’t get a lot of costumers, they were dead) sales man unlocked the door for us. I then asked to speak with Drove, per his instructions relayed to my mom. When I walked into his office and explained who I was, he looked even more confused than the salesman, he did not remember anything about the situation. Which frankly made my very mad, he had spoken to my mother multiple times and its his job to know things like this. He finally found a member of the service department, who gave me instructions to pull into the service garage. Me and my friend then went into the waiting room, which didn’t even have coffee or a working tv (another red flag, Car dealerships are built on costumer service and its the little things that set the good one and bad ones apart) While waiting me and my friend noticed that they had a large poster covered what appeared to be a file room. no actual door. this was distressing to me because most files at dealerships have personal, & credit info that could easily be used to steal an identity. (Another red flag, at the deanship I worked at we were yelled at if we left file rooms unlocked because of the fines $$) After a 10 minute wait, The service guy told me they didn’t have the part, so they would have to call the local nissan dealership and see if they had it and the earliest it could come in was tomorrow. Which meant another trip to Hurst, now my anger was really high this was a prior arrange appointment with a purpose, that no one seemed to remember. I then went to Drove’s office and talked to him about it and he said just to come back tomorrow and when I asked if I would be getting two tanks of gas because I was making an extra trip he told me no. I then called my mom to tell her of the situation. She told me to have Drove call her. When I went back into his office I relayed the message, his repose was «No, I’m too busy right now, I just got in and I have other work to do» This was about 10:15 am, an hour and 15 minutes after they open, so Drove was lying about the just got in thing. Also you never tell a costumer your too busy to help them. He refused to call my mother and when I insisted that he do, he was extremely rude to me and very threatening. After trying to find a manger, me and my friend left. A few days later me and my dad went back and got the glove box fixed, after many phone calls to the dealership. They installed a new glove box but it was not the same color as my dash, so now it looks funny. And I never received a tank of gas for all the driving. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HOLF FIAT. They are nothing but lazy liars who promise things and DO NOT follow through.

Unfortunately after asking repeatedly to have someone call me back or at least address a minor issue (Needed a keyless entry remote fob for a car we just bought) the folks at this dealership have decided to completely blow me off. Natalie Steadman was nice enough during the sales process but it seems that once the deal was done she very content to just let customer service go out the window to make things easier for her. All of this over a $ 300 part after I just financed over 15k with them. Very unprofessional and I would advise anyone else to stay away. Also funny enough I bought another car to replace another car yesterday and thanks to their lack of customer service this place was not even in my top 100 places to look and someone else got my business.

I wish I could give this place zero stars! The customer service is crap. I hate doing bad reviews… but the world has to know.
I was in the area since I am in the market for a car that sips gas… and not guzzles it like my Santa Fe. My company has moved to Southlake… and I still commute from North Dallas. I found the Fiat 500’s to be sooooo cute. 40 mpg… hell yeah! I was stoked about taking a test drive and saving a million dollars a month in gas.
I arrive and was greeted by a very eager and new salesperson. He was sweet… and we talked about all kinds of things. What I found off putting is that we didnt pick a car first before we went in to get all my information. They wanted to size me up first… that pissed me off. I told him I already know my car is upside down which could be a problem. I dont think they looked at my car to get the value. They of course picked out a car for me… didnt ask me what color i would like… or anything. They assumed I would go for red. Is it because I am a chick? Geez… I dont know!
The sales manager came in and told me it raise my payment a lot… without giving me figures. They were so shady the whole time. I felt like I was getting swindled. The sales guy didnt know better… and I felt so bad for him. I walked into the finance office and told him can I have my keys back? I didnt want to be rude and pick them off his desk. He didnt know my keys were sitting there. I am like what a douche. Then the sales manager says give me 2 minutes… I gave him 10 and walk back in there again. All the big bosses were there and I asked them any word on how we are going to get rid of this negative equity? They just started at me and I walked out. The sales guy came running out. I told him that we are cool… but your superiors can go F*** themselves!
I hope others have better experiences than I did. I have never been treated so badly.

If you want to do car shopping, don’t go to this dealership. They won’t let people to test drive their car. At least the did not let me. The salesman were so pushy that you need to sign some commitment to buy before they let you test drive. Therefore you must buy or you go somewhere else.
My experience with them really suck.
