Logan’s Roadhouse

I enjoyed visiting Logan’s about ten years ago or so. However, the last three times I went I had such negative experiences that I stopped going. The most recent time was the worst.
We were a group of four. The service seemed extra slow that night. I ordered a salad to start with. The dressing was overpowering and I couldn’t eat it so I munched on bread. The entrees arrived eventually. My steak was so gristly and tough I couldn’t even cut it! That was the first time in my life I sent a steak back.
Second steak was exactly the same. My husband tried it and proclaimed it was inedible. The veggies that came with the steak were overseasoned so I couldn’t eat that either. Luckily the sweet potato was ok, so my dinner consisted of that, bread, and water.
I took the steak home to my dog. He wouldn’t eat it.
I’ve never been back.

Great service, the Manger on dutie Adam noticed we had been waiting awhile to be served once we were seated, he personally came over to apologize n offered to buy our appetizer, our server Destiniy was very nice n on top of everything. Top notch in my book.

Went for dinner Friday night. Was very busy but waited all of ten minutes for a table.
Ordered a lemon and lime bitters which is a drink they have in Australia, but no one had heard of there. They were happy to ask me what it was then make it for me.
I ordered the sirloin with shrimp with a potato and Mac and cheese (don’t judge, I as hungry). The steak was great, maybe a bit over five but I’m not fussy, the potato was delicious, the Mac and cheese was quite yummy, though I’ve had better… The shrimp? Awful. Don’t know if I’m spoiled in Australia, but they were over cooked and tasted like little bits of rubber, which was a shame as I was quite happy overall.
My partner had the eye fillet with lobster talks which disappeared in about three seconds. Het meat was definitely over cooked but she also wasn’t fussy.
Not a bad night overall :)

Food was good. My steak was over cooked but our amazing server Shawna had it fixed very quickly. She was very helpful and friendly. Our drinks stayed full and our needs were met!

This is my favorite restaurant. I eat here 3 or 4 times month for the last 3 years & have never got a bad meal. Servers, hostesses, & managers are all attentive & friendly. I eat sirloin steak every time and all have been prepared as I ordered. Salads are great, as are the mashed potatos, sweet potatos, & hot rolls. If you take a survey after each visit, you will get a $ 3 discount on your next meal. Also, sign up for there emails & you will be sent discount coupons. This is a casual restaurant that offers free peanuts in the shell, so you can expect to see peanut shells on the floor.

Decent variety of lunch/​dinner offerings. Prices are in-​line with most fast-​casual restaurants.
–1 star for leaving the tails on shrimp so now I have to dig in manually to remove them
Seriously folks — I came to eat, not play with my food!

It really depends what you get to eat here. Never ever get the chicken tenders, they are always overdone and have zero flavor. The chicken Cesar salad is the best you will ever have anywhere with the delicious marinated chicken and homemade croutons mmmmm. But there is a manager/​bartender I believe his name is Stephen and he probably exudes the best customer service EVER. And I work I am a sales manager working with the public all day long, he is amazing every time I see him.

Come here for the bread, teheehee. I’m kinda frugal… so when I get coupons I take advantage. Tried this place fell in love with the hot rolls. The menu reminds me of Outback Steakhouse. kind of similar. Anytime you looking for a reasonable steakhouse this is the place. wait staff is mediocre nothing to brag about.

Waitress was my kind of waitress. Nice. But not annoying nice.
Steak was great. Mashed potatoes were great. Fries were… Ok.
Its better than roadhouse in euless which has gotten terrible!

The absolutely worst experience ever. 10 of us… order took an hour and half the steaks over cooked, fly in salad of which the manager commented «that’s just more protein»…really? Will never come here again

Granted… it’s been a few months since we last ate here, but this place has gone sour very, very quickly. We came here for our daughter’s birthday dinner (she loves steak). We ordered our drinks and a fried mushrooms appetizer.
While we were all still looking at our menus the waitress kept coming by every two or three minutes to see if we were ready to order. She did this about four times; if we are all still looking at the menus it should be obvious that we aren’t ready yet.
After placing our dinner order, we got our salads about eight minutes later, but never received the fried mushrooms.
After finishing our salads we flagged our waitress and asked about them. She said that she forgot about them. She apologized, and gave some excuse about having a long day. I think we all have had a long day, but I didn’t complain to her about mine. She asked if we still wanted them and we said yes.
About five minutes later we received our entrees. I think the only complaints I have about the entrees are that they no longer have the peppercorn ranch dressing, the amount of steak on the steak salad has been reduced, and the steaks were a tad bit overdone (but not enough to complain about).
About two minutes into our entrees, another waitress brought out a basket of steaming hot soggy globs of grease that were supposed to be our fried mushrooms. I can only assume that they threw our original order back into the fryer to heat them back up or that their grease is incredibly overused.
When our waitress came by we complained about the «fried mushrooms» (AKA grease globs). She apologized, but then complained about her manager or something (I was not paying much attention to what she said anymore). She said that she would take care of it and asked if we wanted them anyway. We said no, but she left them on the table anyhow. I don’t get it.
Anyhow…definitely our worst experience at a Logan’s Roadhouse ever. I don’t think that we will visit this particular location ever again.

Logan’s Roadhouse is my old standard style steak house. That style I remember from the early 80’s. That is a good things for me because I like the old school steakhouse no fuss. They have very good prices on the steaks and they come with a side dish, salad and rolls. The restaurant is very family friendly with fast service but you can take your time. The place is busy on weekends but the staff knows how to handle the large crowd. The parking lot will look very full but there is plenty of seating. And you can call ahead which I recommend.
Logan’s has a lot more then steaks check out the web page to see all the food choices. I like the rib eye steak they cook it just right with good flavor. The rolls are very good I always eat too many. This is not a high end steak place just a down home family restaurant with good food. And Logan’s puts out coupons sometime so look for them.

Got the country fried steak, too much batter, no flavor. The salad was very good, crisp lettuce, good vinaigrette dressing. Rolls were awesome as usual. Next time, I’m getting nachos. Our server was great.

Service is mediocre. Got a chicken fried steak that was so bad I had to send it back. I have never sent a dish back before but it was not edible. Half of the steak was just breading, the gravy had the consistency of water and it all tasted like the only seasoning they put on it was salt. Definitely not worth 13 dollars. Go to Babes or Reno Red’s instead. The portions are bigger and are cheaper. Not to mention they taste good. I ordered a steak after I sent back the CFS. It took so long I just got it to-​go. It wasn’t terrible but after my chicken fried steak I will never go back.

I. love coming here but tonight waited 30 min & finally had to ask if we can have bread & order our food. That’s why the 1 star:(very hungry

Horrible service. Mediocre food. Very poor value for your money.
I have tried coming to this location several times and the food is rarely worth what you are paying for. I have also tried dining here on a Thursday night after happy hour crunch had long passed… the waiter took over ten minutes to worry about getting my order because he was «busy» chatting in the back room with another employee of the restaurant. He saw I was waiting but would just turn his back to me. It was not until that I stood up and left that he came rushing in to see if I could give him an order. Why waste my time and money on poor service and mediocre food, especially when it is not busy? Manager was also not seen around so I left in complete disgust and disappointment.
Save your money. Go enjoy your meal anywhere else. I bet taco bell has better service than this Logan’s restaurant.

Near perfect lunch.
Server «Abby» was pleasant and attentive but not intrusive. Business lunch. The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection. (I despise over cooked fish and raw fish is a definite sin)
The grilled veggies on a skewer were a hit with everyone in our party. Portions were plentiful but not obscene. Food was served promptly and temperature was good. She clearly picked up and delivered the order to our table promptly.
We will return and ask for the same server by name.

Came here because we had a giftcard. Waitress brought free rolls but didn’t bring the butter until we asked cuz they had put it up already… Salad didn’t come out until our entrée came out and even then we had to ask for it. The waitress did offer to exchange for a hot side but we really just wanted a side salad… The ribs, ugh… No sauce or seasoning anywhere on the rib! Had to ask for a side of BBQ sauce to make it edible.
I will not be rushing back anytime soon.

For a chain, this place ain’t bad. I am referring to the one by NorthEast mall, NOT LAKE WORTH! It’s a peanut shell on the ground type of place. Good selection, prices moderate.
We started with the fried cheese, most tasy… Company had the 6oz sirloin, looked good, not bad for $ 10.99
I had the grilled salmon. The dill butter sauce to dip with is really good, probably not healthwise, but very tasty.
No room for dessert on this trip. In and out in 45 minutes, nice lunch…
I will return, to this one, NOT LAKE WORTH!
