VEGETARIANSANDVEGANSAVOID!!! Really disappointed by the service and food today at Miss Saigons. My husband and myself placed an order for vegetarian spring rolls and instead were given chicken. We didn’t realize this until we both had bitten into our food. These things happen so we weren’t sweating it but when we asked our server if it was indeed meat we were lied to. She walked into the kitchen after telling us «oh i dont know if that’s meat… lemme check» then popped her head back out with a smile and told us it was skinned small pieces of soy bean. We laughed and finished our plate. Upon payment we discovered it had indeed been chicken. I don’t understand why she felt the need to straight up BS us when we were being very polite about it all. We’ve maintained a vegetarian lifestyle for almost 20 years each so this was a big bummer to us. The restaurant at this point was fairly dead so it wasn’t a case of being rushed off their feet. Also if you don’t remember to give customers flatware or chop sticks and they request some nicely don’t roll your eyes and toss some on the table. If someone is using«pleases» and«thank yous» then have the manners to look them in the face and respond accordingly and not check your phone. I work in the service industry and have for many years, regardless of what’s going on in the kitchen or in your head you need to maintain a professional demeanor not a sassy childlike attitude. The phở order was screwed up as well as no tofu had been added so basically what was served was a large bowl of floating broccoli. I didn’t even bother mentioning this and instead mixed all the soy sauce and sriracha in to make it actually have a flavor. My husband was very pleased with his tofu yellow curry but unfortunately getting duped into eating meat put a downer on that. Obviously we won’t be back and instead driving over to Sprouts in Arlington will be the route we take.

As an avid phở eater, I was very disappointed. I sat towards the back of the restaurant as because it was too cold by the front door. As soon as we got to the back, we could smell something displeasing. Perhaps mildew, or stagnant water. When the phở came after 15 minutes, normally just a couple minute dish, it’s was just warm instead of piping hot. The heat was needed to cook my beef. The tendon was hard instead of soft and therefor could not chew it. Lastly the flavor of the soup was overpowered by just 1 ingredient. All in all, it was edible but definitely not a representation of phở. Also, the ingredients they use could be at best described as «sub-par».

We ordered phở to go. I posted a photo in case you are wondering what that looks like. I was so impressed with how everything was packed. They packaged all the toppings and condiments and didn’t forget anything. Nice flavor and portion and everything was very fresh.

I recently ate here for the first time and it was a so-so experience. While the staff was super friendly and attentive to my friend and me, we all know that we come to Vietnamese resturants for the phở. The phở here was average, not the worst tasting but definitely not the best. I got the #19, beef combination phở. The soup was fairly warm, but not as hot as I like it. I like my soup to be brought out to me where it’s going to be hot for more than just 30 minutes. The noodles were a bit undercooked, and I had to wait a bit to let them cook in the phở till they were properly cooked. One of my meatballs were not cooked all the way and was cold in the middle. The broth was pretty tasty and well seasoned. The dining area had a large table in the middle that could sit around 13 or so people, with smaller tables that could seat anywhere from 4 to 2 people spread around the resturant. The bathrooms were really clean and well decorated.

I thought they were fine. My dining companion(who is from the Old Country) was annoyed at the lack of innards in their Phở. «This place is for Americans.» So um, if you want guts and entrails, this probably isn’t your cup of tea. I was perfectly content, but what do I know? I’m American: D

The service is great here. The girls are friendly and attentive. I ordered the phở dac biet(combination phở) and it tasted like an old beefy taste. I garnished it with hoisin sauce, red chili sauce, lime, jalapeños, basil and a small handful of bean sprouts. That didn’t help though. Their spring roll was good only complain was the peanut sauce that comes with it was bland. I’ll be checking out other phở places in this area instead. 12÷03÷15 — updated review. Their broth was delicious and flavorful today. I like how they offer the low carb noodles.

This place offers great food at an exceptional price! My 4 year olds first choice when eating out! Pork rolls are a must try!

I’ve been here many times and always enjoyed my food. Friendly staff, but the level of attentiveness can be hit or miss. I was craving their hot, fresh ginger lemon tea. Super tasty and I always feel better after having some. I also had the vegetarian phở which I’ve had several times before. It was good, but the broth has been better before. The veggies in the phở and on the side tasted fresh as always. The tofu spring rolls are delicious. And a number of their rice dishes too. It’s a good lunch spot. It’s in a strip mall near NE Mall.

Probably best phở I’ve ever had! So much meat! Seafood phở is excellent. Huge portion and only about $ 7. Got take out and made sure to give me everything that could possibly go on it!

Best phở in HEB. Reasonably priced, clean, well decorated and quaint. This is my go to phở spot… I’ve tried about 20 different places(LA included)

I cannot count the times I’ve been here over the past decade. I try Vietnamese restaurants throughout the Fort Worth and mid-cities area, but I keep coming back here. My favorite is the pork vermicelli(Bún Tht Nng). My wife isn’t a fan of Vietnamese food, so whenever I’m in Hurst area, this is my place to stop for lunch. If I’m really hungry, I’ll add the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce. I have never had bad service or meal. I love this place. It is one of my top five locations for lunch.

I love this place. My first time here was about 5 years ago. I didn’t rush back right away, for whatever reason. I DO believe they get better and better everyday! I have become quite the regular over the past few years. The Miss Saigon Roll is unique and very tasty. Their«Meat Trio Vermicelli Noodle Bowl» is AWESOME!(I order«half noodle» on all vermicelli bowls and Phở Soup bowls.) their Spicy Noodle Soup is also good, and different. Today I had the Vietnamese Crêpe. SO good. LOADED with fresh ingredients clear out to the edges! YUMMO!!! We love this place! Fresh ingredients and perfectly«charred» meats and shrimp, every single time! Chow!

So my boyfriend and I usually come here when we want to eat phở and don’t want to drive to another city to satisfy our craving. It’s never been as terrible as today. We were seated right away, everything was normal. My boyfriend ordered their shaken beef(7D) and I ordered their new tomato phở soup. Our drinks came out and everything was fine. 30 minutes later, THIRTY! Our food finally came out, we never got a «sorry for the wait!» Or «it’ll be out in a sec!» Which would’ve helped. Does it really take 30 minutes to assemble a bowl of phở and a rice plate?! We honestly would’ve left if we weren’t so hungry. So we began to eat, my boyfriends meat was so dry, and so was the rice. It tasted like a day old rice and my soup was insanely greasy! We couldn’t even finish it, we paid for our food and drinks and left. It was a waste of money and we won’t be coming here again. Next time we’ll just drive further for good service and good food!

I don’t know why I came here a second time( Unilocal said I’d checked in here before). I guess to confirm that the bad experience I had the first time wasn’t a one-off. It’s dark and kinda dingy. Most Vietnamese places are kinda dingy but usually not so dark. I guess maybe to hide how dingy it is? There was a little baby roach(?) on my table, but I was craving phở so much, I took my chopstick wrapper and flicked him off the table. I don’t remember having their phở the first time I visited(not a memorable visit), but I never got it the second time. I waited over 20 minutes, at which time I caught the waitress’s eye and she told me my soup was on its way. Really? 20 minutes to assemble a bowl of phở? I also got shrimp spring rolls and they were dry — like they were made earlier in the week and had been sitting in the refrigerator. I canceled my phở order and payed for the spring rolls and left. I feel bad writing this review, but it is mostly to remind myself not to go here, no matter how desperate I might be for phở in this area, plus maybe they will make some improvements based on my inputs?

I agree with an earlier reviewer that it’s a very«Americanized» restaurant. I had sorta high hopes for this restaurant because it had such good ratings in an area where there’s not a lot of good food around, but no. If you’re looking for good Vietnamese food, do not come here. If you don’t know what good Vietnamese food is supposed to taste like, this place will do just fine for you. The food took an oddly long time to get out to us relative to other phở places I’ve been to. The phở is ok, 3⁄5. I had the combination phở. I guess they can get some praise for the amount of meat you get in your soup. The spring rolls are made with lettuce and thus for American taste buds, which makes them horrible. The dipping sauce is mediocre at best. Do not order the spring rolls. The staff is nice.

Headed home from a long trip and decided to give them a try. Food was good, but I’ve never had to wait so long for Phở. Just drop it in hot water and it’s done right? Especially when their are only two other customers eating.

For a very«Americanized» restaurant, it was decent. I say this because of their lack of phở options. I, also, believe that if a restaurant has phở and it isn’t the main focus of the restaurant than it can’t be good. In essence, these places typically make their phở broth with fake bouillon cubes and not from scratch(boiling bones and meat). Location — It’s located in a shopping center right by the NE Mall. It’s easy to go to and you can bypass the mall traffic to get to it. It’s parallel to 820 and is a quick jump off the high way. The restaurant has a good amount of tables and when we went during a weekday lunch hour, it wasn’t too busy. It was good to be seated immediately, but given all of the choices in this area I wasn’t too surprised. They had a really nice touch when it came to their interior décor and the atmosphere they created. Food — I ordered the grilled chicken and rice plate(~$ 9). It was a good portion and left me feeling quite full from all of the rice. I wouldn’t have served myself such a large heap of rice but decided to clean my plate haha. The dish was good and if I were to return I would order this after I tried something else. But if you’re like me(comments from above) I will probably skip the phở here. My friend had it and the color of the broth just wasn’t what it should’ve been and it did not have much else in it. Small portion of meat, but they did at least have a small plate of sides(bean sprouts, lime, etc.) like an authentic Vietnamese phở house. So many people stopped in for to go order pick ups, so despite the small numbers actually dining in, people love this place.

My friends and I have been loyal customers here for a long time. Weve had phó at a lot of places but there’s just something about the phó here you just can’t get anywhere else. Great staff and relaxing atmosphere!

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Not authentic Vietnamese food. I asked the asian server how the phở was and whether it was authentic. She smiled and replied no. Should have guessed that based on the non-asian crowd there, but points to her for the honesty! Given that I didn’t want to be disappointed by unauthentic phở but wanted soup, I ordered the tilapia vegetable soup and some spring rolls. Both were okay. Three stars for clean restaurant, casual atmosphere, and friendly server. Probably wouldn’t return for the food alone.

I’ve had this place once, and regretted it ever since. This place is made for Americans. Not authentic Vietnamese food. Everything is bland and under-seasoned. I had the pork chop rice plate, and all I can say is ugh. Looking at it made me lose my appetite, I didn’t not eat it. The box was filled with white rice and 1 piece of pork chop. It was under seasoned and undercooked. It was as white as the rice! They threw in a couple of cucumbers but that didn’t do much. Overall, presentation was bad and taste was even worse. If you want real authentic Vietnamese food, steer clear of this place!
