Nice tank setup for both saltwater fish/​coral and freshwater fish. Lots of saltwater fish types, but some of the fish looked sick.

The fish and coral here are extremely beautiful. Their clownfish, for example, are orange whereas they are yellow at the Watauga Petco. During the day, they have really friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of the regular employees mentioned that they were developing a showroom next door. I asked to see it and they had a beautiful lionfish, eel, and a ray in a 400 gallon tank. In the evening however, service and personalization both take a bit of a dive.
There’s an indoor pond on the freshwater side.

The folks working in this store are wonderful. I had a serious problem cause by my cleaning my tank with a sponge (stupid me). They walked me through what I needed to do. They are very knowledgeable, great salt and fresh water selection. The most important thing is how friendly and knowledgeable they were. I used to go here when Winnie was the owner. It is now a clean, lovely tropical fish store.

New fish store where Winnie’s Fish and Pets used to be. They have remodeled the store, it is bright, nice, and more comfortable than Winnie’s was. They have an amazing selection of exotic fish and offer set up and maintenance services. Great new business!

Friendly staff, and a great selection of everything. Whether you’re a saltwater aquarist or a freshwater lover this place has everything you need to make your aquarium beautiful. From furniture to a friendly staff ready to help you along the way. Their prices are reasonable, a small amount more than petsmart and petco, but I’d much rather shop here with confidence than either of these stores regardless. This place has the best selection of freshwater discus in the DFW area. The staff here seems to be extremely knowledgeable and ready to help. This place has made a huge turn around from what it used to be. I’m so glad they opened up. It’s nice to have a nice place to go nearby. They also have a great selection of saltwater livestock– fish, corals, and inverts. They have some pretty exotic fish here. Some I’ve only seen at the dallas world aquarium. I’m currently converting my tank into saltwater and I’ve been coming here frequently gathering information.

Went here to get feeder guppies, and figured I’d have a look at the «remodel»…I used to frequent here as a child when it was winnies.
I hate to see winnies go but I do think this place needed a face lift.
I like the new fish store it has become, they have fresh water and saltwater fish, including, if u must have it, a shark… lots of choices from cheap to expensive, aquariums, and anything else u may need… clean, friendly, and neat looking fish to look at, id venture to say I’ll be back if the need arises.

This was my first time here since the new owners bought out Winnie s fish and pets. Edna the old owner who d been around since 1969 sold to these guys just recently.
I would have to give them 4 stars for cleaning the place up. They have both fresh and salt water fishes to choose from. The old name is still on the sign above the store but the owner said he d just hadn’t gotten around to taking it down yet.
As far as I could see fish and the equipment are all somewhat reasonable priced. With petco and pets mart right down the road we shall see how this little establishment does.
