Very good breakfast! Best pancakes I’ve had in a very long time. Very good service. Outdoor seating is a very nice touch.

Great healthy options! I got a veggie omelet, and it was loaded with veggies! Great place for the health-conscious! The atmosphere is great too — very, hometown diner.

As a local, I can say this place is tops. Not only is the food amazing the staff is as well. Every single time I go in they are so friendly and accommodating that I can’t help but smile. The waitresses even remember what our order typically is, welcoming us with our preferred choice of beverage as soon as they come to help us. The greatest thing(aside from their amazing home made breads and perfectly cooked quiche) is that the owners take the time to work there and interact with their customers! You will not be disappointed! **edit** This was a review I wrote before it was changed to The Daily Paper on Main. I am so disappointed with how much they changed. The food isn’t half as good as it was when Perry was there.

Visited here this past August. We walked in and were seated by the hostess, very nice. Waited… and waited… no one asked if we wanted coffee or drinks nevermind food. I mentioned to a passing waitress we had been waiting for 10 minutes and she said she could only bring us water. She didn’t bother mentioning to anyone that we were waiting. The couple next to us left without being served. We waited 25 minutes and left. The hostess told us to have a great day. Poor service. Very small inside and they weren’t terribly busy to not notice us. Awful. Go next door!

Hubs and I found Perry’s thanks to other Unilocalers while we were down on the Cape searching for breakfast. Be forewarned, this place gets very busy very quickly. No wonder! The food is delicious, the prices are beyond reasonable, and the service is attentive. Even when walking through the dining area to get to our table, everyone had a smile on their face. Serve good food and it’s amazing what it does to people. When we got there on a Sunday morning, the line for a table was already out the door. However, it was moving quickly and since we had nothing but time, we were in no rush and waited about 15 minutes for a table. Hubs had the corned beef hash along with a bagel on the side. I had the two eggs special along with wheat toast, homefries, and chicken sausage(I’m not a big fan of sausage, but I do like chicken sausage when offered). At any rate, the food came out quickly and the portions were massive. I could barely finish my meal but it was delicious. I wasn’t a big fan of the peppers and onions in the homefries(it wasn’t disclosed on the menu), but I was able to pick around the potatoes and I was happy. Our total bill was $ 17 for two breakfasts, a bagel, and an orange juice(I had water). Sure, the place is cash only, but for $ 22 with tip, that breakfast couldn’t be beat. The next time we are down on the Cape, we will come back.

Clean floors, cute décor, classic diner menu. The food is delicious, the waitstaff are friendly and the line moves quick. We ordered classic breakfast items(eggs and grits for me, Eggs Benny for him) but the window full of beautiful muffins and baked goods was very tempting. PRO’s: Grits, Daily Specials, Veggie Options CON’s: No Coffee Milk and No Chourico

I’ve been going to Perry’s for years and I have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and prepared in a kitchen in the front of the restaurant. Its got a diner feel to it, with a little cramped counter in front of the kitchen. Perry is usually back there cooking away and making sure everything goes right, talk to him he’s a great guy. Anyway the staff is always on top of their game, and the specials are always interesting. Eggs Benedict is to die for and just getting some scrambled eggs and home fries is even delicious. There is no other breakfast place I would rather go to for your regular breakfast food. Its a little bit more than your cheap breakfast place but it is so worth it. The place is usually packed but don’t let it discourage you! Worth the wait.

I’ve never had a bad breakfast at Perry’s. Their homemade honey-oat bread is the highlight of any meal. Don’t try the french toast made with it though because all other french toast will pale in comparison. Eggs benny is always perfectly cooked. Great selection of quiches. I’m a breakfast girl so I’ve never ordered lunch items but my friends always seem to enjoy them. The only thing I don’t like is that their fruit salad is made with canned fruit — I prefer fresh. Everyone on the staff is so nice and friendly, even patrons are — I think just being there makes you happy. The prices are so reasonable. You can easily get breakfast for 3 for under $ 20 including beverages. Just remember — cash only! ATM across the street in case you forget :)

Went in after Unilocaling for a good bfast place in Hyannis. Perry’s delivers a good breakfast as reviewed by Unilocalers! I had the biscuit n gravy, which was good. My hubby got the steak n eggs with homefries. It was delicious. His came with toast, the homemade oat bread. That was phenomenal. He wolved down the toasts in no time.

Great food… Homemade biscuits with gravy are top notch, the omelets were over stuffed and cooked perfect. Great service. Perry’s is cash only so be prepared.

We arrived at the diner just in time for a late lunch. It have a very simple storefront and was empty inside, but we weren’t surprised, as it was late and off-season. Two of us ordered the quiche special, which came with a muffin and fruit or garden salad. The deli had a great selection of meat and veggie quiches for any taste. I got asparagus and Swiss, which was okay, but nothing to write home about. The Deli had about 12 different homemade muffins, and I opted for lemon poppy. Again, it was good, but nothing I’ll remember. Perry’s gets three stares mainly for the general atmosphere and good service.

Great place, lots of locals come here on weekends. Simple unpretentious but fresh and tasty food, quick service, great price. What’s not to love? We stop here for lunch almost every time we are on the Cape, especially off season.

Came here for breakfast at about 10:00 on a Sunday morning. We were a little concerned when we saw a line out the door of people waiting to be seated, but we were at our table within 15 minutes or so. The breakfast menu here is fantastic! They have just about anything you could want, including various types of pancakes(blueberry, banana walnut, peach, etc.), french toast, italian sausage, quiche, omelets, etc. I opted for my favorite breakfast — eggs benedict with home fries — and it did not disappoint! The home fries were exceptionally crispy and flavorful, cooked with peppers and onions, and the eggs benedict was just perfect! The husband had one of their breakfast specials(#6 I think?), which included 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon for around $ 6.95. We also shared a grilled blueberry oat muffin, which was delicious. In fact, I’d love to return again to try some more of their bakery items, which all looked great — muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls. Overall, a great breakfast experience for a very reasonable price.

Womp Womp, don’t want to be a hater, but Perry’s just isn’t as great as I wanted and hoped it would be. We came here looking for a deli-style lunch(it’s in the sign after all), and the menu wasn’t too bad, but there were no subs, just sandwiches and plates offered at the high side of average prices. The waitress started off nice and polite, and was prompt in her service. We ordered a turkey lettuce and cheese on homemade oat(him), and a tuna melt(me) — but I asked for no sides, because the tuna sandwich in the«sandwiches» section was all I really wanted, toasted with cheese, NOT the«tuna melt» lunch special with fries and slaw. I explained this to her and she seemed to understand. Brought out our sandwiches pretty quickly, and the bread was heaven! If you had no teeth you still could have eaten this sandwich because the bread was that soft. The tuna salad was a little mayo-y, but I liked that there was cheese on the top and bottom slice of bread. His sandwich was yummy too — good turkey, although thick cut for my taste. When we got the bill we saw a charge for $ 8.50 — what was that for? All we got was sandwiches, no fries, no chips, no nada. It looked like she charged us for the«tuna melt» lunch special after all even though I got none of the extras. We asked her about it and she was TOTALLY dismissive. She grabbed a menu from a nearby table and brought it to us pointing at «tuna melt» lunch special on the top, with the price, then dropped the menu and walked away without really allowing a conversation on the topic. Rude, rude, rude. Won’t be coming back here — the food was good but not great, and the service just wasn’t worth it. What happened to «the customer’s always right?» Guess not at Perrys…

Today I’m craving Eggs Benedict, so naturally I immediately think of Perry’s Main Street Deli. Unfortunately I’m 3000 miles away so instead of indulging in the best traditional Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had, I’ll write a Unilocal review! I’ve been frequenting Perry’s since it first changed to Perry’s(from Piccadilly Deli) in the mid-80s. You will usually find Perry himself at the grill cooking up your favorite dish. He’s always friendly and greets his customers with a smile. He even finds time to roam the dining room to say hi to his patrons, regulars and new timers alike. The staff is pretty constant. Many of the same waitresses that served me when I lived on Cape Cod in the 90s are still there today! Perry’s is the Breakfast /Lunch Deli version of Cheers Bar of TV fame. On any given day you can walk into Perry’s and you’re likely to know someone sitting at the counter or at one of the tables or in line for take out. It’s not a huge establishment, and there are frequently lines for tables at standard mealtimes; however, any wait is worth it. My all-time favorite here is the standard Eggs Benedict, which is made with a toasted English Muffin, lightly grilled Canadian bacon, poached egg and the best Hollandaise sauce(besides my mother’s of course!) I’ve ever tasted. I’m a huge lemon fan, and this Hollandaise is a perfectly lemony, buttery, creamy delight! I always ask for extra on the side so I can be sure to get enough for every last bite. Not only does Perry’s make a killer Eggs Benedict, but everything else on the menu that I’ve tried(or those I’ve dined with have tried) is fabulous! Want a BLT with the tastiest bacon that’s cooked to perfection, firm tomatoes, and crisp lettuce? Want a stack of pancakes(chocolate chip are my youngest brother’s favorite) fluffy as your freshly fluffed favorite pillow? How about some potato wedges crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just enough spices so as not to overpower the potato flavor? I could go on and on, but the menu is pretty large, and my mouth is already watering. I don’t want to forget the bakery items that Perry’s offers as well. An amazing variety of muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, pastries, all for the taking for a nominal charge. My favorite muffin is the Lemon Walnut, and will usually take one home for noshing on later in the day, but there isn’t one that I’ve had that I didn’t enjoy wholeheartedly. Perry’s is open early and closes not long after lunch time(2PM from what I read on other reviews — I’m usually there much earlier than that so I’m not too concerned with when they close). They accept CASH only. Their prices are reasonable and, when compared to how good the food is, they’re downright great! So there ya go. My home away from home when I go home to visit! LOL! I must start planning my next trip to Hyannis, MA soon before I go into Perry’s withdrawals. Thanks for always being consistent and fabulous Perry! Looking forward to seeing you again sometime this summer!

Fabulous eats for breakfast — we stopped in two days in a row and were slightly bummed we hadn’t discovered this downtown Hyannis spot sooner. It’s a sweet diner and perfect for family and friends or just a guy and a gal hanging out over eggs and coffee. Try the honey oatmeal toast with butter — heavenly!

Memorial day weekend — four days of debauchery and little sleep. The crew was finally mobile around noon and we were headed to Perrys. Our mission was Eggs Benedict and no buffy and muffy attitude. The cape coder’s I was with pointed Perry out to me(a no nonsense cook) and said the place had been there 40years(?). The food — I was impressed that it came quickly and that it was cooked fresh to order — even with the craziness of the tourist weekend. The eggs benedict were well worth the splurge — perfectly poached eggs, hint of lemon in the Hollandaise sauce. Best part the home fries were not soggy. Very clean and nice diner like atmosphere — one friend had the sausage and egg special — that he cleaned right up! I will be here again soon — Good stuff.

I love Perry’s and always always go here when I am home visiting my family on the cape. Their eggs benedict is truely my favorite anywhere. Anywhere! They have great baked goods — the pumpkin cream cheese muffins and honey oat toast are addicting. You can’t beat the small town atmosphere and delicious home cooking. The waitresses can handle picky ordering — and usually charge less if you ask for a «half-order». Ok, ok… I will be honest: my mom is a waitress here. That’s right, she’s the best waitress. Be sure to sit in her section.
