Asian Carry Out

I feel bad giving 1 star! Honestly I do! I’ve only ever done that 1 other time. So let me tell you about it so you will understand. I ordered delivery from grubbhub for my first — and what will be my only — order from this establishment. So I cannot speak to how the décor or parking or what have you is. I can just tell you about the food and the delivery.
Pros: My order was delivered within 30 minutes. To the correct place. Which my seem like nothing to be happy about; however, I realize that finding my place is kind of difficult even with a GPS. The delivery guy was kind. And that’s where the pros end.
I got egg drop soup and orange chicken. Whenever I first order from a Chinese place I get orange chicken. It is a staple. If you can’t get this right chances are everything else is lack luster as well.
Cons: My egg drop soup was an odd consistency. It was to thin to be egg drop soup despite there being little egg drop droppings. I think egg drop soup should coat your spoon not just fall off like broth. The taste of the soup was also off. Too sweet! But I figured hey the Unilocal reviews are good the Orange chicken will be good. Wrong again. The orange chicken tasted like anything but orange. It smelled amazing– but no hint of orange — so I figured take a bite! Mistake. It reminded me of sweet and sour chicken minis the sour. So I asked a couple co workers to try it — at this point I wasn’t eating it — and they all confirmed. If this was orange chicken it was a bad version. And if it was something else, it was a bad version of that too. I left my orange chicken out to share w/​hungry nurse coworkers. There was still leftovers after lunch and that’s saying something!

Second time ordering from GrubHub. They deliver quickly and my food is always hot and well-​made. Their lemonade tea mix is delicious and I love that they have a combo that comes with steamed veggies so I can hate myself a little less for ordering fried food.

This place have great wings, fried rice and fries. Its not a very clean or newly renovated place but The food is great!

Terrible! Their driver refused to leave our house without a tip. My husband gave him $ 5 because we didn’t have any less. We have ordered lots of food from this place but this did it for us. We will never order from this place again.

This is run of the mill take-​out/​delivery Chinese food. It’s not slop, but it’s not gourmet by a long shot.
The Good:
— Free parking lot. There are usually enough spaces, especially since the Shoppers Food Warehouse shut down.
— Reasonable pricing. You’re not going to break the bank here, and you’re not going to feel like you overpaid.
— Delivery. This is a decent spot to call up if you want some cheap, quick food and don’t feel like going out for it. The delivery is usually pretty quick, which is surprising.
The Bad:
— The area is a bit rundown. A major chain grocery store closed down a few years ago and now it seems the other businesses are dropping like flies.
— Customer service. You’re not getting top-​notch or even good service. You’re a customer and as long as you don’t cause trouble, you’ll get baseline service.
— It’s a few small storefront. I’ve NEVER seen someone dine-​in. The few tables they have inside are more for waiting for your carryout order than anything else.
— It’s not sparkling clean. It might not be failing health inspections, but it’s still enough to make you pause when you walk in. You’re probably better off just calling your order in, for your own mental sake.

Horrible service and mediocre food. I just received my order from this establishment and was cursed at by the delivery man because he was unhappy with his tip. He actually used a deragotary word towards me and told me I should not order from them again because of his tip. He delivered warm food and it was not flavorful but besides that he was disrespectul and disgusting. If I could give less than one star I would. Don’t order from this place unless you want sub par food and a delivery man with a nasty disposition and an even nastier mouth.

It’s your typical Asian carry out joint. It’s so typical, in fact, that they named it «Asian Carry Out». Every stereotype you have of a little Chinese restaurant is true of this place. Nothing here will surprise you, besides that some of the signs are also in Spanish (this is mostly a Hispanic neighborhood). My food wasn’t bad. I got what I expected. No complaints here.
