Food is really just okay. More options than five guys, but not even as good as five guys. Aside from the lackluster food, the staff wasn’t very helpful. The cashier appeared annoyed at my questions, and the guy who was shouting out names for orders said our name wrong(Mark isn’t that hard) and got upset that we didn’t say something sooner.

I love elevation burger, but this location has some serious parking issues that make it nearly impossible to go to.

I would give this place 3 and ½ stars if I could. There are a few reasons that I am docking them their stars so let me explain… I went in right before noon with a friend. We each got a create your own single burger with cheddar cheese. We split an order of simple fries and a fountain drink. Just that was a little over $ 16. I realize it is organic and grass fed and whatever but seriously?! So with my wallet hurting I went and got a drink. I tried the Wild Bill(I think that is what it was called) root beer. It was really good but just a bit to sweet for me. So I decided on a coke while my friend easily found seating. Food came quickly and I hoped that this 16ish bucks would be worth it. The fries were a good amount, easily split between us. They were thinner then I would of like but they were ok. Nothing spectacular. I dipped it in a side of the siracha mayo which was good. It had just the right amount of kick. I also got elevation sauce on the side. I will say I have no idea what is in it or what it tastes like. It has a smaller kick of heat but ends on a cooler note. I wasn’t so much of a fan. The burger. Let’s talk about the main event. The cheese wasn’t melted but it was soft and getting there. I would want them to put the cheese on the burger on the grill so it has the heat to melt. The burger itself was great! It was juicy and succulent. Cooked to perfection. The bread wasn’t overwhelming and complimented it nicely. The place was clean and the staff friendly. I would go back for just the burger and skip the fries and drink. Definitely with siracha mayo on the side to dip my burger. 1 star for price and 1 star for lack luster fries. And ½ a star just bc of my disappointment.

The best tasting burger ever! You’ll fall in love with one bite… No joke! The taste is very fresh and doesn’t taste anything like McDonald’s. It’s a bit pricey but you definitely get quality food not the cheap junk were used to eating.

Ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger and fries. The burger was not as good as the price would suggest. The meat wasn’t bad but the caramelized onions were too sweet and over-powering, the cheddar cheese was missing taste and the bun quite frankly sucked. Fries were cooked in olive oil so even with ketchup, the after taste is pretty gross. This is the second time I’ve been to Elevation burger; two different locations(other being National Harbor) and the outcome is still the same. Won’t be going to this chain anymore.

Good for the ‘burbs, average for the city. I live close by so Elevation Burger is on my short list when I have a craving for a hamburger and fries(heck with McDonalds down the street!). My opinion is pretty much the same every time I have gone. The burgers are okay but they’re not amazing. The fries are good but they are often soggy and sometimes have the wrong toppings(one I time they didn’t even put them on). Everything is freshly made but it’s not exactly lighting speed. Employees are kind but not oozing with enthusiasm to greet you and have you dine there. The prices are a bit high for the quality but it’s not as bad as DC. Overall, everything is middle ground. I haven’t had a burger that I have despised but I haven’t had one that made me think«wow, I’m going to stop grilling out and come here instead». I’ll continue to go there when I am too lazy to get hamburger meat from the grocery store. I wish it were a place that was a treat to visit but at least it does the job. It’s odd to me that Elevation Burger doesn’t go out of its way to serve great burgers and quick food because there are several«fast food» or quick places around it and Bobby’s Burger Palace is up the street. Almost like they know I’m around the corner and will stop by anyway… maybe I should start voting with my feet.

There were a lot of dining options around, but you know what? I wanted a burger. I swung into Elevation Burger, eager to try it as I’d never dined here before. Was the burger good? Heck yes. Was it worth the price? Heck no. For just over 13 dollars, my classic«elevation burger» was just about the size of a Big Mac. Not really the«elevation» I had in mind. That 13 dollars also got me a side of fries and a medium fountain drink. While the burger WAS delicious, I can’t hardly begin to justify that price for a fast food joint, unless it’s absolutely top notch, which Elevation Burger isn’t. The fries were rather lackluster, and a fountain drink is just standard fare. The good tasting burger can only get you so far. It’s size, price, and generic sides keep Elevation Burger from being something better. Overall, 3.5÷5.

Not big on burgers, but today I had a craving for one. I thought that the fries were fantastic! They weren’t too crunchy, and they gave me plenty to enjoy. I don’t eat burgers often, so when I do, I’m hoping for an unforgettable experience lol. It was delicious here BUT, I thought having to pay for the add-ons was a little ridiculous — the only reason I’ve docked a star. To get more bang for your buck, I think Five Guys is the better deal but since these burgers are better for you — meh, why not. The vanilla milkshake was also great. Nice and thick but it softened up quickly enough for me to enjoy it without hurting my lips trying to suck it through the straw :)

4 years ago, I tried this place and thought the burgers were downright awful. Who is buying them, I said to myself? I had to return recently to meet an old friend who selected it as a rendezvous spot – was not looking forward to it. I must say that I was surprisingly impressed with the quality of the food. The beef patty meat is flavorful now, and execution of how the burger comes together is more carefully done; the place is well run and cleaner; the pricing is moderate for a mostly organic food menu. I taste and see things that are pleasing to me. Elevation Burger: you got your act together and redeemed yourself.

Good flavor, organic meat, and reasonably priced. Elevation Burger is doing what Chipotle did for burritos– raise the expectation and baseline for a fast-casual cuisine. Flavorful meat and lots of available toppings. Milkshake was creamy and smooth, very tasty. The only real negative is the bread on the bun is kind of throw-away. I hoped for something more artiisanal, rather than fast-food style buns. This location has outdoor seating, and a mix of metered street parking, curb parking, and a parking lot(shared with the rest of the Arts District establishments). Off-hours parking is easy, peak-time gets crowded. Savings tip: Cheese is charged by the slice, w/2 slices per non-kid burger. Ask for less cheese or skip it entirely to make your burger cheaper. Elevation is doing good, and makes good burgers that cost barely more than Five Guys charges. Recommended.

The burgers and fries are consistently good. The thing that pushes it to 5 stars is: 1. The customer service from the employees is always warm and friendly. I’ve never had bad service here. 2. They have gluten-free options! Lettuce wrap for a burger with gluten free fries. They make sure there is no contamination and they change their gloves if you tell them you have an allergy.

The nearest«gourmet burger» chain to me did not meet my lofty expectations. However, it still did the trick — just not how I expected. I expected a lot from their burgers. Their burgers are organic and locally-raised. However, the meat tasted dry. I heard it was the closest thing to In-N-Out Burgers out here, but that couldn’t have been farther from the truth. If it weren’t for the Elevation Sauce, the burger would have been a complete waste. How did it do the trick? Their fries. Ah yes, their fries. They are kinda pricey, but you can get them in many different styles. I got mine drenched in mayo, Elevation Sauce, and cheese. Holy shit, what an experience. The combination of life-shortening sauces were an orgasm for my mouth. I would have to caution about the neighborhood. While the Arts District in Hyattsville is getting better, the adjacent neighborhoods are still very shady. Try coming here for lunch — it’s much safer.

The food isn’t bad, but it definitely isn’t worth the price. Out of convenience, I’ve been here twice and was surprised by how much they charged for a pretty average burger and fries(about 11 $ for just a burger and fries — no drink). Further, I don’t like being nickled and dimed for burger toppings. 1.20 $ for cheese? No thanks. I’m not a fan of 5 guys, but you can get the same thing for half the price there. You could also go to one of the nicer places in the area like bus boys or franklins and get a much nicer meal for about the same price. In short, skip it. You can find much better in the area for the same price or less.

I’m really surprised this place has better reviews than Bobbys burger palace. Burgers are held by two greasy cold buns. Very flimsy greasy meats. Variety of toppings are the only saving grace. Fries are disgustingly greasy, thin, often cold and tasteless. Customer service at this particular location is complete crap. I’ve had many sub par experiences and one extremely unprofessional terrible experience that was enough to drive my family and I away for good.(Placed an order for delivery bc it allowed it online, they took my money and order, never called, never answered the phone, I went up there to see what happened and my food had been sitting there cold for an hour and a half while employees ignored calls… wtf? They didn’t even offer an apology, to warm the food, make a new order, refund money, comp future meal, nothing!) All that to say — hell no to elevation burger, especially this location. I really don’t get the hype even if they did have redeeming customer service I can’t see me paying for greasy cold tasteless slop.

I’ve been here a number of times. Burgers, fries & milkshakes are always good. Food always comes out fresh. I definitely don’t feel like grease is running through my veins when I indulge in the offerings at Elevation Burger. I was somewhat skeptical of the ‘healthy’ burger, but it is really good. The variety of options for toppings on the burger is to my liking. Fries have always been hot & very tasty. They sort’ve remind me of the fries at Boardwalk Fries, but without the grease. I fell in love with the black cherry milkshake. That’s definitely my go-to move. Overrall good experiences here.

Veggie Burger #1 is número uno and those french fries with caramelized onions and cheese will change your life. I think the milkshake uses low fat milk or something because it has a weird taste to it but other than that I love it. It’s an up and coming franchise and I think it’s a great idea. Their meat is from hormone-free cows and that’s cool to a lot of folks. I’ve only had the veggie options so I’m not sure how great the hamburgers are. Suggestion: Put caramelized onions on everything.

A burger place and I had one with no meat. My wife’s been giving me the guilts for eating animals, so I decided that today would be the death of several potatoes and other veggies and I’d be able to satisfy my hunger for a cheeseburger. Lots of cheese, lots of veggies and a pretty decent veggie patty is what I had. A good sized portion that had a lot of flavor and a lot of messy, drippy cheese, which was exactly what I wanted. The fries were decent. Not terribly greasy but I realized after I started that some cheese on top would have been ideal. They have milkshakes but my choice was for one of the sarsaparillas from the cooler. Mmmm!
