Sleep Inn & Suites

I would usually consider a Sleep Inn along the same line as discount hotels like Motel 6, Quality Inn, La Quinta or even Rodeway Inn. Let me assure you; this hotel is nicer in every respect. The downside? You’re definitely paying more for it with rooms around $ 100/​night.
The service stands out the most. Genuine attention to detail, real professionalism and courtesy, and a very warm vibe from the staff.
Breakfast was much better than your standard $ 65/​night hotel, but nothing special and frankly I’ve eaten much better at other hotels in the same price range.
The room was spic and span, well-​maintained and free of concerning odors. Our dog was allowed to stay for a non-​refundable $ 15/​night, though I believe they’ve got it listed at $ 25/​night on their website. Check before staying.
The parking lot is lit up brighter than the surface of the sun; it’s quite a spectacle to behold. The downside of this is that if your room looks out into the parking area it’s going to be pretty well-​lit in your room even in the dead of night. Go ahead and tuck your curtains around the windowsill, close every gap, your room will not get dark.
Considering the brightness of the room and the cost I gotta give em 3 Stars. If the light doesn’t bother you, and you’ve got some money to play with you really can’t go wrong. All the essentials are here for a good stay and the staff are top-​notch.

We had the pleasure of spending a long weekend at this place and it was a delight! They served breakfast as well as a soup/​salad dinner each night and were very accommodating to every need! The rooms were nice and comfortable and it was such a nice stay!
I loved their pillows so several weeks after our stay I called and talked to Perry Bugbee, Assistant General Manager and he kindly arranged for me to purchase some pillows and shipped them to us! I would highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area!
I told them that if they kept treating us so nice… we may just move in!!!

Great service and value Meal service above expectations. Amenities you don’t expect but greatly appreciate. How about a tip jar for food service staff.

We were driving through town needed a place for the night… had never stayed at this name hotel before let me tell you this place was great from service to complimentary breakfast the cleanliness of the hotel and the best part were the comfort of the beds highly recommend

I was a bit skeptical of all the 5-​star reviews when I drove into the parking lot and got a look at this place next to the freeway. Older building, but in good repair. The inside is a bit dated too, but the staff here really make it shine. They are warm and welcoming, and very helpful and pay attention to their work. The free breakfast and dinner are adequate, nothing fancy but better quality than I have had at more expensive places. Hardly any noise from freeway. Overall a great value.

My Mom and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It was super clean, very quiet, and the beds were very comfortable! The front desk told us all about the great effort they go to when cleaning the room, even vacuuming the chairs, and it definitely makes a difference. Even though their fitness center is not open 24 hours, they made the nice suggestion of us walking the premises since they were completely safe & and under surveillance. This ended up being a lot fun, and the fresh air was so good for us! We stayed here 2 nights, and will definitely be returning in the future. The location is very convenient (close to freeway)! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Came to Idaho Falls for a wedding and picked this place because they had the best rate. Much to my surprise this place was FANTASTIC!!! The rooms were super nice, comfortable, clean!!! The staff was really friendly and the breakfast was amazing… although not many gluten free options for me but my husband LOVED the biscuits and gravy. I had eggs and bacon and that worked for me! If ever we go back, this is where we will stay.

Stayed here for one full week. We were on the first floor right across from the pool. Overall it’s a good place. The staff was very friendly and polite but sometimes stretched thin and disorganized (our check in was way more complicated than need be due to some office people alphabetizing reservations by first name and others by last). The food was meh. I got sick the first day from the breakfast spread… The eggs were way too runny. My husband and son enjoyed the breakfast each day and didn’t get sick. The dinner at night is always a choice of three different soups and salad. We didn’t have dinner there. The room was clean and cool. I think a herd of elephants moved into the room above us halfway through our stay. We did get some noise from the pool but not much. Our last night there the toilet broke in our room and my husband reported it to the front desk at 7pm… When we checked out the next morning and told the day desk lady she said never was informed about our toilet issue. That was disappointing. I’ll check other hotels first before booking here again. I think some of our issues were due to summer season madness and being at 100% capacity.

This place is fantastic — much nicer than any other roadside travel inn I’ve been to, frankly.
The fundamentals (cleanliness, comfort) are top notch. Comfortable beds, clean crisp white sheets and comforters, cushy and plentiful blankets. Wifi is free, there is a little fridge and a microwave, temperatures controls are on the wall and easy to use.
In addition to the fundamentals, there are really lovely nicely framed black and white photos of locations in Idaho (and perhaps elsewhere) photos on the walls. It’s such a pleasure to have something other than filler on the walls. Really a lovely touch.
The food is also good. We got in after a long drive and didn’t want to head out again, so had some of the soup and salad they offer in the evening. Our kids (6 and 9) gobbled it up. The pasta and sausage soup was delicious. The lettuce in the salad looked freshly chopped — not from a bag — and was sweet and crunch. I couldn’t be more pleased.
Are kids are also pleased with the TV selection — we had thought about treating them to going out to a movie, but there are plenty of good channels and so we get to relax here.
An extra bonus is that we’re traveling with our dog, and they accept family pets.

Nice, clean rooms and it’s pet friendly, which is a plus for us– They even have our dog some treats.
The staff is friendly and the entire hotel looks very well kept. Breakfast is pretty good, with a nice selection of foods (It is still a continental breakfast at a hotel though).
I would definitely come back if I came to the area again

Priceline cancelled our reservation without telling us. Due to a weekend event, hotels were filling up fast. The staff bent over backwards to make sure we had the same room, and then matched the same rate we paid online. They also picked us up three miles away one evening with their free shuttle service. They were there in five minutes! I won’t use Priceline again but will absolutely stay at this clean, comfortable, and staff-​friendly hotel next time I’m in town.

1. After my wife’s business convention in Salt Lake City, we needed a place to stay on our way to Yellowstone National Park.
2. Sleep Inn does not appear on our GPS, as the hotel is relatively new, built in the last couple of years off of a new frontage road.
3. We called as we approached Idaho Falls, and were told to take a left turn off of the exit 116 off of highway 15 north, with the hotel visible from the freeway. Don’t want to try finding this place in the dark!
4. We checked in, and were given room 305 on the third floor near the end, farthest away from the lobby, overlooking the parking lot –nice to be able to see your car from your window, for you people who are paranoid about such things!
5. The hotel has a single slow elevator, but we took the stairs, once we unpacked the luggage. Need some exercise after driving for hours.
6. The room was approximately 13’x24’ featuring nearly new furniture and clean comfortable rugs to walk barefoot on, without having to wash your feet again!
7. Microwave, mini refrigerator, phone –yes they still have land line phones! Also iron, and ironing board –although I have wrinkle free clothing nowadays, when I roll everything into my luggage.
8. No bathtub, but very large shower, with strong water pressure, and readily available hot water. My wife missed her nightly hot bath!
9. Large flat screen TV with basic cable including ESPN, so I could watch the Warriors take on the Cavaliers on ABC.
10. Bed was among the most comfortable I have ever slept in, with firm mattress and soft pillows –I guess the kids had not yet had time to test out the bed as a trampoline, so the mattress springs were still intact!
11. Room had plenty of noise insulation –the only time I heard the neighbors was when they too had a shower.
12. Hotel is unqiue in providing complimentary full breakfast and salad-​soup buffet dinner.
13. Dinner consisted of salad with carrot slices, chicken noodle soup, cream of vegetable soup, and pizza soup –yes you heard right pizza soup!
14. The pizza soup had sliced squash, with sausage bits, with a big layer of grease on the top –didn’t try it, but I bet there was enough grease on the top to catch fire, with a lighted match!
15. I made a pasta dish out of the chicken noodle soup, by skimming the top of noodles and meat and carrot slices. Don’t you just hate guys like me who do that?! Same folks who skim off the meat at Sweet Tomatoes soups!
16. Teenagers came in, and took all the chocolate chip cookies, while skipping the salads –well what did you expect?
17. Hotel has a pool and sauna on the first floor, but the place was overrun with kids screaming and yelling –no place for peace and quiet in the sauna for the wife!
18. 2^nd floor has coin operated washer and dryer –in our case we both brought one way clothes –worn out clothes to wear and toss– even the Salvation Army wouldn’t take our clothes!
19. Wife had no trouble sleeping, judging by the consistency and loudness of her snoring. She did have some problems with the lights from the parking lot appearing around and over the black out curtains. Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows, better than ours at home, and that’s saying something!
20. Full complimentary breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, toast, waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, various sliced fruits, and juices. The usual warning of putting hard boiled eggs in the microwave!
21. Down the street within walking distance is a bar and bbq restaurant. Across the other side of the main road is a gas station and mini store.
22. Wifi in the rooms, and two public computers in the lobby for printing out airline boarding passes –yes Idaho Falls does have an airport!

My 12 year old son, myself and my parents stayed here for six nights. We loved everything about this place. My son and mom spent many fun hours in the pool. The pool area is clean and safe.
They serve breakfast and dinner each night. For breakfast you have to many yummy choices to mention them all. They have mouth watering waffles, fresh cut fruit, eggs, bacon, hash browns, pastries and more. For dinner there is three soups that are home made. They also serve salad and garlic bread and corn bread. I bet you can’t eat just one corn bread, so good. If you have room left they bring out all kinds of home made cookies.
The rooms were really nice. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. I loved the big television sets and the desks had lots of room with lots of plugs to plug in all your electronics. The bathrooms were clean and roomy.
The best part of staying here are the people. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The girls that come to clean your room ask you if there is anything you need to do. The kitchen people check on you to see if they can do anything for you and the front desk people are always there to help you.
To sum it up, I love this place and I recommend it to anyone who is staying in Idaho Falls. I know I will be back.

Great customer service! All non smoking facility! Good location! Delicious soup and salad in the evening, complete breakfast each morning! I have stayed here 6 – 7 times since they opened and have always enjoyed my stay! The staff is awesome!!! If your travels take you near this area, I recommend you definitely stay at this outstanding hotel!

I see why the five stars. This place is awesome. Very clean, next to the freeway, and a great staff.

We stayed here last night. The evening meals were delicious. I ate the tortilla soup. Wow, for a hotel meal. The rooms were roomy and very clean. It is obvious that the cleaning staff take pride in their work. The amenities with the flower shaped towels was very impressive.
The bed was «VERY» comfortable and I loved the soft pillow. The breakfast was excellent. The eggs, sausages, biscuits/​gravy, waffles, oatmeal, juices, etc… The list goes on and on with this really impressive breakfast buffet. This buffet was well done and provided a huge selection of options for your morning start.
This is a fabulous hotel and I would recommend it to family and friends.

Absolutely impressed with this place. We stayed here for two nights. Complimentary breakfast each morning and complimentary soup buffet each evening. Hotel was super clean and felt very homey. Parking was ample and free. Location right off the highway. Highly recommend it if you’re needing a place to stay in Idaho Falls.

After a quick Unilocal search on the road, I decided on this hotel largely because of the phrase «cookies and milk» in the first review. Hmm. I called the hotel and the rate was pretty decent for a king room, so I booked one (we also needed a room ASAP since we were on hour 11 of 14 on our way back home and were getting tired).
Ok. So, the hotel is about 2.5 years old, which means everything is pretty new. The front desk clerk pointed us to the dining area and said there is soup available each night, plus a free breakfast each morning starting at 6am. To our complete surprise, that «soup» consisted of:
3 different homemade soups all kept warm in its own crockpot (chicken noodle, clam chowder, and Thai meatball) PLUS
homemade cornbread PLUS
homemade garlic bread PLUS
homemade cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and double chocolate) PLUS
homemade chocolate cake.

I asked the one lady about the food and she said she made everything. She works Sundays-​Thursday evenings and thought that homemade food would be a nice homey touch. (Not all Sleep Inns offer homemade food.) While hubby and I were wolfing down our dinner, other staff members walked around with trays of freshly baked cornbread and cookies.
To add to the marvellousness, our room was immaculate and features a new (read: quiet) air-​conditioning unit plus a cool walk-​in shower.
This Sleep Inn is right off of the I-​15. If you’re coming through Idaho Falls, stay here and enjoy some homemade goodies. I can’t wait for breakfast!
