Our team is trained with ongoing classes and experience. We are known for being excellent colorists, cutters, and stylists with techniques such as Balayage, color melting, texture manipulation, layer blending, and seamless styles for every occasion.

The team at Defining Line is trained with strong communication skills. We always summarize your customized plan and price quote before we begin any services. We offer free consultations and neck/​bang clean-​up.

~Raised and donated thousands of dollars for charities, schools, & more

~Ranked into the top 5 salons for continuing education

~Traveled all over the country to receive and give education, including over 10 trips to NYC

~Worked with Magazines, TV stations, artists, leaders, performers, theaters, photographers, filmmakers, International beauty product manufacturers, fashion shows, dancers, models, and more.

~Performed more than 40k services on clients, over 50 of these were very 1^st haircuts

~Experienced life with thousands of amazing people

Business Owner

Amy launched the Defining Line Salon with a vision — to create a place where people discover a passion for life through her industry. She is a woman who exudes a contagious energy and an insatiable drive to make people happy.

A brilliant business woman, a devoted mother, & wife, a loyal and present friend, a team focused leader, and an infectiously upbeat person, she enriches the lives of all those she touches, both by the person she is and by her talent.

Her passion lies in discovering the unrealized potential of every person who enters her life. She considers her profession to be an artistic endeavor, and the process of styling as a process of discovery. She believes in facilitating change that helps people feel like the best version of themselves.

Amy believes that the future of the Defining Line Salon lies in continuing to offer uncompromisingly high quality products and services, but also in helping the Idaho Falls area develop and grow, both commercially and culturally. ~JP
