Cheryl Close – State Farm Insurance Agent

I had two experiences to review so I averaged it out.
First one: I spoke with Sara (she’s Cheryls daughter) and she signed me up. She was very nice and helpful. The service was fast and she was knowledgeable. She emailed me my policies and said she’d put in the mail as well.
This time I went into the office because I didn’t receive ID cards for one of the vehicles. As soon as I walked in I could smell Marijuana and it was strong. So strong that the first thing that came out of my mouth was, «it smells like weed in here and just not a little!» There was one girl in the office, not sara and not cheryl (some Hispanic chick with glasses. I have her card but I’m too lazy to get up and get it.) Anyway, she says, Oh, we chase the guys away from the back door cuz they smoke it out back.
Lol okayyý! More like you were smoking it out back with «them». So, I just said,“Uh, huh”. We sit down and her eyes are red and she’s just so chill. I’m thinking, puh-​leeez sister, I know a thing or two about the pakalolo from my days. But it wreaks bad and I’m kind of in shock thinking this broad was smoking weed at work. Hey, some people can function and honestly she was functioning just fine but come on, its not professional to smell like weed and then to look high too. Smh
She gave me my temp ID card and said the policy has not been issued on that vehicle it usually takes 10 – 14 days. I’m like, yep today is the 16^th day. Maybe if she wasn’t high she’d know that. Oh well, I got what I needed.

The office girls are quick to sign you up for an insurance plan, unfortunately they are also quick in denying your claims. Had my car broken into with several items stolen inside, State Farm gave me the run around to avoid approving the claim. I cancelled all my services immediately following an office visit with Cheryl Close. Do not do business with these people or insurance agency!
