DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS U HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. They guys surely know how to cut hair but lack customer service skills. I didn’t have appointment but stopped as a potential new customer. Besides telling me to sign in I could have been invisible. It seemed all the barbers had appointments. No one told me this… I found out by waiting and watching. Why even have a list for walk-​ins? I ended up walking out. Customer service is part of the experience. I really think you guys can do better by potential new clients.

Took my nephew here only 3 years old and Jorge took care of him very well. I was happy to see how nice he was with kids and patient for one! You should definietly call in for an appointment if you don’t want to wait. But had a great experience here.

This is a great spot. The wait isn’t bad as they usually have a good amount of babers on duty. All of them cut hair great. I take my 2 boys there and they are great with my special needs son. They always have music on (not blasting like other lame places) or tv shows on.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LIKE YOUR HAIR!
These dudes suck! unprofessional, unsanitary, and dirty shop.
I work right down the road so I figured it would be convenient. Well it sure is convenient not to have to style my hair in the morning because I had to have the dude cut the rest of my hair off after he butchered my hair and had me looking like simple jack. Thanks a lot bud.
The funny, well not so funny to me, part about it is I walked back into work, everyone had a good laugh, took their pictures, and then proceeded to tell me to never go there because about 8 of our other co workers had the same experience I did.
Go to Exclusive on Palm down the road. Ray will hook you up. You may wait a minute, but its better than having to walk around looking like Mr. Clean now.
Oh, and not to mention 2 separate random dudes walked in with a grocery bag full of clippers, cut a «clients» hair and the left. Its clear now why there are no barber licenses on the wall.

Completely ignored me when I waked in.
The next guy walked in «oh hey man what’s up, go ahead and sign in»
After about 10 minutes I was asked if I’m waiting for someone… No. I obviously signed in and needed a haircut. Instead he tells me none of them do any designs or lines that I wanted…
As he’s shaving a mole rat tail into someone’s head. Seriously these dudes were all assholes and wouldn’t even look at me bc I’m a girl that wanted some lines. That was complete bullshit.
Completely disrespectful, every single one of them.

I love taking my son to Josh at the Fade Factory! He’s been my son’s barber for almost a year & he’ll always be my son’s barber. He is awesome with my boy, completely professional. I don’t even have to tell him how to cut my son’s hair, I give him creative freedom & he makes my son look awesome every time!!! I definetly recommend this place & Josh! Excellent service, great atmosphere…5 STARS!

Today was my first time taking my son to this place. He starts school on Tuesday, and I was hoping he was going to get a nice cut. You can tell some of the other barbers have skills in cutting hair, but this one guy in particular (young, white Complexion) does NOT! I waited two hours just for my son’s hair to get F#@“ed up. He wanted to charge me ten dollars and I was like seriously!!! «You messed up his hair», I said.
He wanted to school me on the way I should describe his cut with more detail.
Seriously, how much more detailed can I get. I said can you give him a comb over with a half a clip fade on the side. Scissors on top just a trim.
IDK did he want me to take the machine and do it myself? wow!!! Hey he’s the one with the barber license!!!
Poor guy he started off good but then IDK. He doesn’t have the skill on point.
In conclusion I grabbed my son and walked out. It was a free cut but a f@$#ed up one.

I think you should let people who walk in know that the wait will be over an hour. My husband & boys left with no haircut due to the barbers having appointments.(which is understandable) but when you keep going on breaks in between your appointments, that is inexcusable. Don’t waste your time here!

Asked for a low fade. What I got was a high fade at best, closer to a high and tight. Barber argued with me and said I should have asked for a taper. I’ve had good cuts from Charles but will never let anybody else here touch my hair.

Cool staff and dope environment. I don’t let no one except one of the barbers here touch my hair. Come every week to get cleaned up. I bring all my friends here and recommended anyone who wants to look to come by. Good prices and skilled barbers. I got no complaints. When you come by ask for Jay, he’s one of the coolest barbers you’ll ever meet.

It looks like a good barber shop, but I can’t tell you I’ve been there three times all three times I waited two hours just to be bumped by someone else that walks in. They have a sign in sheet that doesn’t work. Maybe they have enough customers and don’t need any new customers like myself which gets a hair cut once a week.
To bad it’s near a navy base with a lot of folks that need good fades.

Went back here to give this place another shot this afternoon. I gotta admit that I got one of the best cuts I’ve ever had from Charles. He took his time and my hair is looking SHARP. I left a tip and will most certainly be back.
I’m digging the 3 or 4 flat screens with the games on. Again, the place is clean and has a pretty chill vibe to it.

I was in town on business and looking a little shaggy. So I stopped by this place. Nice shop. Very clean. And when I showed up there was no wait.
Jorge cut my hair and I walked away pleased. I was in the army for almost 10 years and have had some horrible fades in my day. This might be one of, if not the best cut I’ve gotten.
If I’m ever back in town and in need of a cut I’ll be back for sure.

I had been looking for a barber near my house forever and had been going for the most part to Fade Factory on Hollister Street which is a GREAT place and heard of a new Fade Factory opening up on 13th Street, which is walking distance to my house. I walked in one Friday morning accompanied with my 3 year old nephew and was immediately greeted by Jorge the Barber who was very nice to my little rug rat. He immediately seated me and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. All the while keeping my 3 year old entertained. Afterward he asked if my little one needed a haircut and gave me half off on his haircut. Great customer service, great prices, and great location. Imperial Beach has now gained a GREAT BARBER. I highly recommend the Fade Factory Barbershops.

Only reason for 4 stars instead of five is cause its still getting its final touches but im sure once its all done ill come back and give it a 5 star review ! But I like what the barbers over there are doing and its a cool set up they have over n ib. its kinda small but very welcoming not to mention all the barbers are dope !! I personally go to Cease Barrios aka cease with the clippers !! But they all are nice with the clippers make sure to say wassup to the owner Sam and tell em stone sent ya!
