History

Established in 2003.

We started this family-​run business in 2002 in Herculaneum, Missouri, and have added locations regularly ever since. We operate with the highest level of integrity and make that the first priority when hiring and promoting those who work with us. We are members and board members of the Missouri and Illinois self storage owners associations, as well as SSA, the national self storage association.

Business Owner

Jim is a partner with Charlie H. and their wives Karen and Mary in owning Ace Storage in the St. Louis area. Ace Storage has three locations in Missouri and three in Illinois and has been in business since 2002. Five of the six Ace Storage facilities have been acquired and one was developed from the ground up. All facilities have been expanded, and Ace offers conventional as well as climate controlled self storage, parking, packing and moving supplies, and all locations rent Uhaul equipment. Prior to the storage business, most of Jim’s career was spent trading commodities in a variety of markets, and prior to that Jim attended the U.S. Naval Academy and spent his active duty time aboard nuclear submarines.
