Scott and his team are wonderful to work with. As a wedding planner in wine country I have had the pleasure of being part of this team on more than one occasion. Each experience was professional and clients were highly satisfied. I often refer Scott for events when I am unavailable. Scott also has a wonderful eye for design and his style is spot on for wine country.

We found Scott Corridan through a wonderful contact at Cedar House in Truckee when we were first planning our Lake Tahoe wedding, and I honestly can’t thank them both enough. We got married in August 2015, and everything was storybook perfect.
Our venue was at a semi-​secluded California state park with stunning views of the lake. However, being a public park, there was a laundry list of dos and don’ts that would’ve been daunting without the expert care of Scott and his team.
It was such a pleasure to work with Scott and the lovely Jennifer Wechsler. They were beyond patient and professional from the moment we first met. As in demand as he undoubtedly is, Scott and his team were always there for us every step of our planning process and gave us comfort and confidence that we had a solid partner in what is, for many, one of life’s precious few pivotal moments.
Scott and his team absolutely delivered on our shared vision. Not only was everything visually pleasing, the set up he designed and laid out for us invited a lot of warmth, intimacy and lightheartedness among our family and friends. Everything was tasteful, graceful and joyous.
Their attention to detail even included making sure we received a refund we didn’t know we were due after the wedding. We’re happy and grateful to have had such a wonderful experience and owe a lot to Scott, Jennifer and the rest of his team.

Let me start this review off with noting that I hired Scott Corridan Design for my 9÷19÷15 wedding in Truckee and I have never even met Scott in person. Not only did he make it impossible to meet him in person (he is just so «important» and «busy»), but he never even made it to my wedding. 2 weeks before my wedding he received a «surprise» Ireland trip present from his husband and left the very next day, missing the last important weeks before my wedding, AND my wedding altogether. I have yet to receive an apology or him even reaching out to me asking how my wedding turned out.
On a positive note, My wedding was absolutely beautiful and the best day of my life. Thankfully, I am very organized and made it pretty clear exactly what I wanted for my wedding to Scott’s assistants. I must thank Scott’s team that was present throughout my wedding experience, specifically Jennifer Wechsler. She was a joy to work with and made sure everything on my actually wedding day went perfect. In fact, I have no idea why Scott was even paid for this wedding. We should have directly paid Jennifer, not Scott. Scott played no part in it at all and should receive no credit.
It is unfortunate that it was not made apparent before signing a contract that Scott really would not be involved at all. If that was the case, I would have gone another route. If anything, all he did was elevate my stress levels for no necessary reason. I would like to warn brides going forward on how he treats and interacts with his clients. As a bride, you want everything to go smoothly and for people to treat you with respect. With Scott, he did just the opposite and was an absolute nightmare working with and trying to get a hold of him. What a joke.
While my wedding turned out gorgeous, I would not recommend using his team for anything for the stress alone he caused me and my family.

I cannot say enough positive things about working with Scott and his team for our wedding. We were married in Lake Tahoe in 2013. Since we are from Chicago, we needed a lot of help with logistics and vendor recommendations in order to pull off a destination wedding. Scott was incredibly patient with us throughout the entire process and offered tons of helpful, practical and personal advice. He even spent a day with us when we flew out a couple of months before the wedding, scheduling our day to meet vendors, taste cake and have my hair and makeup trial. Scott handled everything like a true professional, but still made us feel welcome on the trip.
On our wedding day, he was able to keep track of the fine details and moving parts in order to make the day run smoothly, but he also was mindful of personal touches and details that made the day beyond special. The wedding was over two years ago, and friends and family still mention it to us nearly every time we see them. Absolutely magical, and Scott was a HUGE part of making that happen.
I’ve included some photos of the reception space and tablescape. Scott’s team was in charge of the floral and design elements for the wedding, and he entirely transformed the space and made it perfectly «us.» He did all of this just from looking at my Pinterest board. It doesn’t get better than being able to let someone take the reins and feeling confident that you will love the final product. I told Scott that sunflowers had a special significance for me and that I like navy blue and Mason jars, and this is what I got. AMAZING!

All I can say is WOW. Scott Corridan Design created the most breathtaking wedding in Napa for a dear friend of mine. Even though I did not hire SCD personally, I was inclined to leave a review because I am a crazy for the details kind of girl myself and I was beyond impressed at the meticulous and creative details of every aspect of the wedding. In a word, unforgettable!

Not only have I worked with Scott Corridan but had the pleasure of being a guest at events he has planned. He has a flare for design and pulls off elegant and amazing events with style, professionalism, and laughter. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him.

Scott and his team are amazing! While working with Scott I always felt like I was being listened to and heard on all aspects of our special day.
In my case I was very busy with work and left most of the planning and design to Scott and his team. I was apprehensive at first but I soon realized how amazing the team was because all I really had to do was create and explain my dream for our wedding and they brought it to life in the most care free way possible. Scott and his assistant Jennifer were always checking in giving me options in a very, «hey quick question», kinda way.
After brining Scott in I never felt stressed that my wedding would be anything but amazing.
Most of all I must state that my wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was a dream come true and could not have gone better. I highly recommend Scott and his team.
I think it is also important to note that many times wedding planners give you a set amount of contact time and if you go over your «email amount» you are charged. Scott does not do this and is available for you when you need him.

As a real estate professional, I have used Scott Corridan for Staging homes for sale, and have personally used him to design space in my own home. In terms of staging, homes that had lingered on the market for years, sold quickly after being staged, which was exactly the goal we were trying to achieve. He is ruthless in his execution, which is exactly what was needed for homeowner’s who couldn’t let go of their stuff, and for homes that needed serious over-​hauling. I found him easy to work with, with an incredible design eye that permitted him to walk in, assess the situation, and have the home completely staged and ready for photography in a very short time.
I have been fortunate enough to attend several of Scott’s events, but have not personally used him for event planning per se. And I feel really, really fortunate to have attended the events as a guest, that he had planned… all I can say is «wow», and I mean that in a very positive way. I will never turn down an event invitation from him, if at all possible to attend!
In my profession, I work with numerous designers, and have plenty of design contacts at all price points. When it came to needing design help in my own home, I chose Scott to help me. Need I say more? The result is fabulous, clean, and all my friends are beyond impressed.

My partner and I work closely with Scott and his Design team. We can’t imagine our lives without him. He makes our jobs of Realtors look easy because he does all the heavy lifting of staging (literally)! Thank you Scott for being amazing. Scott and his team did an absolutely wonderful job planning our wedding. The day was perfect down to every last detail and stress free for me and my wife. The planning was surprisingly easy as well with Scott and his team. Scott is extremely well connected across the area and every crazy idea we had for the wedding he made happen. Our family was so pleased with him and his team, we hired him for a large birthday party and small redesign of our tahoe house. His team’s work is consistently as amazing as our wedding planning. Highly recommended.

Scott not only helped us stage our home for sale, but he planned a charity event at our farm years before that. Both times, we were so pleased with his style and energy. Scott has a great eye for amazing things. We have sold our home and moved and still enjoy the things he purchased for us in order to stage and sell our home in Truckee, CA. Scott was our wedding planner for our 2011 wedding and we STILL get comments regularly about how it was the best wedding our friends and family ever attended. Scott was an absolute dream of a planner – utterly responsive, creative, and respectful of all our off the wall ideas (outdoor wedding in Tahoe in January? sure, he said!). He was worth every penny for the stress he took off our backs and the creativity and joy he brought to the crazy process of getting married. He is a consummate professional and we’re delighted that he’s remained a friend in the years since we married.

I can not say more wonderful things about Scott Corridan and his team! We had our first experience of using his services for our wedding. Scott and his team are professional, responsive, and complete amazing visionaries! He created the most perfect, amazing, beautiful wedding day. Scott and his team planned our wedding in 2012. We absolutely loved working with Scott and his design aesthetic and endless vendor rolodex took our wedding to the next level. We built a great relationship and trust over the planning process and he delivered a flawless event for us that was stress free and elegant. Our event was very complex, taking place over 4 days at several locations and Scott was able to manage all of the details and moving parts without missing a beat. He is very detail oriented and knows how to stay cool when unexpected twists happen along the way. We look forward to working with him again on future celebrations.

I have been witness to many of Scott Corridan Design’s Weddings, Interior Design, & Events! To say that they are beyond exceptional and amazing would be putting it lightly. Scott and his team made my wedding day a truly memorable, beautiful experience for not only me and my husband, but my bridal party and each of our guests. I got married at the Ritz Carlton in Truckee and Scott was my wedding planner. Leading up to the big day, Scott kept me calm and kept everything under control. I tend to be a bit of a stress case, so this was no easy task. :)
As luck would have it, it rained on our wedding day. Although we were planning for an outdoor ceremony, Scott accomplished a formidable task — he kept the bride calm, happy and made sure that everything went off without a hitch! He also has an eye for detail. Throughout the day, he would meticulously fix my hair, my dress and helped my sister with the bustle. Scott is incredibly organized and very professional. He is an expert when it comes to delegating tasks and coordinating with vendors.
Most notably, Scott is a genuinely positive, warm person — this is something that cannot be bought or written in a contract. I really can’t say enough how grateful I am to have been able to have him be a part of such an important moment in our lives. Everything about Scott is truly first class.

Scott and his entire team are absolutely AMAZING. I put all my faith in him for our big day at Squaw Creek, which was a little scary because I’m a control freak, and I am so glad I let him. He took everything that we had picked out and pulled it all together. We were all over the place with our theme and colors, and Scott made it all work. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the entire weekend. The main reason I hired Scott was so that my family and I, and bridal party would be able to enjoy the wedding weekend without any stress of prepping or dealing with last minute details. Scott and his team took care of every single thing, and did it well. We ended up moving the ceremony site last minute per Scott’s advice, and I’m so glad we trusted him. It was perfection.
Scott and his team completely transformed the ballroom at the resort, it was unreal. Our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding, and it was 3 years ago. I highly recommend Scott, he is fantastic!!!
